Central location for walking to food market, bars, KL tower & shopping centres. Looks better than it does in the photos also.

Impossible to get a taxi or grab they all just cancel as there is always major traffic outside and the drivers dont want to sit in it. We were even asked on the way back to the hotel by a driver to get out and walk. Hotel would not even call one as they said they will not come. We pre booked a car service for our return to the airport through booking.com which was perfect and a good price.

I like the city view from our room. And, I like the spa & foot massage service.

Hotel situated in great location in Bukit Bintang area. Plenty of nearby shops, choices of many restaurants and surrounded by many food markets. Hotel ambiance is good and great resting area in the lobby. Easy access to local transport (Grab & taxies etc.) and situated close by to major streets. Check-in & Checkout were smooth and quick enough. Room size is adequate for two adults. Reception staff, bell boys and other hotel staff were very helpful and provided great customer service. Reception Manager was very helpful all times. As we requested, due to the noise (ongoing renovations) he changed rooms instantly and assigned additional rooms on the top floor. Thanks to Manager Mr. Fainz!! We will recommend this hotel for families, business and leisure travellers.

Every About this hotel is great. The location, the amenities, the staff. The location is in the heart of bukit Pentang literally less than 100 meters from Jalan Alor and at the start of Changkat street. Lot 10 us also few hundred meters away. The hotel' s fucilities are top notch: the reception, decor, room amenities are all very very good. The pool is small in comparison to other hotels but it's very functional, clean and has a great vibe to it. I can't recommend this hotel enough. The room had an amazing view on bukit bintang's skyline. It also had everything advertised in the pictures.

Nothing, it's superb.

Firstly, the location is absolutely perfect for first time visitors to KL. Everything is easily accessible by foot or public transport and there are endless options for food, bars and shops etc nearby. The hotel itself is modern and in excellent condition, and the rooms feel luxurious, clean and spacious. The bed was very comfortable, the curtains blocked out all the light and there was very little noise heard from the busy city outside. We were in the 11th and the views across the skyline were stunning!

There was loud construction work on the 5th floor which was very loud in our room on 11th floor throughout the day. Also, on the second day of our stay, someone checked in a room next door to us and was smoking pretty much constantly and so the strong odour of cigarette smoke was being pumped into our room through the air conditioning ventilation. It was so strong our cloths were left smelling as if we were smokers, which we are not! We raised these concerns at reception when we checked out and were kindly offered a free upgrade to a Premium floor when return for the second leg of our trip next week. Customer service was slick and professional.

I wrote a review about my stay in this very same hotel six weeks ago before spending five weeks in Japan. During that period of time the hotel has changed its name - from Stay With Bukit Bintang to Starus Bukit Bintang - and room cleaning service seems to have improved. There was a serious Internet blackout during this second stay and the issue was dealt efficiently and discreetly both by the hotel management and the staff. Fantastic swimming-pool. Great value and convenient location.

Staff upgraded our room so we got the upper floors, the view from there was superb. The room was clean with a good ambience, bed was super comfy to fell asleep with. The location is good too, with just 10mins walk to Pavilion and LRT/Monorail stations, surroundings filled with food shops and convenient stores. Overall its a recommended place to stay!

While the location is convenient, it comes with its cons too. Located near the Jln Alor, it feels like walking through a red light district when we were going back to the hotel late at night. The surroundings did not make me feel safe, luckily I wasnt travelling solo. With this note, its best to think twice about this place if you are travelling solo (for females especially) or family with young children. Or you can opt to take GRAB, that will bring you straight to the hotel lobby without passing through the slightly unsafe path.
