i had a great time MOV, Angela at the reception was very kind an helpfull. I was there 4 days, on the 5th floor in the corner, was not noisy at all. a lot of shop, resto in a few steps away, a lot of bar as well, the big malls 4minutes walk away, and the hopp on - hopp of also starts just right there. overall it was better than i thought would be, it was worth the price. You get free coffee, tea, sugar and creamer at the reception, just take it any time when you need, plus there are aqua to refill anytime. (i was alone, maybe for 2 person there is less place for their staff in the room.)

Great sized room, comfortable large bed and swimming pool. Good sized bathroom and shower, liked the addition of the colour changing light. Location was really good, just around the corner from the main shopping mall and restaurants. Except the large slope you have to walk up and down.

One of my towels smelt musky/damp. Asked for a new towel that never came so asked when I met the cleaners the next morning. There were also big lumps of hair on the floor of the room. The pool towels are kept downstairs in the lobby. So when you go all the way up to the pool expecting them to be in the pool area, where there is a large storage space and the towel bin, you then have to go all the way back down to get one. Internet is poor around the pool area and the social areas.

they take deposit during check-in of 200RM and it takes up to 2 weeks to refund. it has to be credit card, no cash, no debit card. So for anyone don't have credit card or do have - it is still an annoying issue

This is a lovely and clean hotel with great staff. The rooms are spacious with the most comfortable beds ever! The shower pressure was insane absolutely amazing. The views were spectacular and we could see the towers from our room. The pool and lounge upstairs are a great addition and we were often up there on our own. The location could not be better so close to everything you could need around you. The room was quiet also. I would happily stay here again for my next visit and is super reasonable for what you get.

Not so much a dislike just some inconveniences. There was one plug in the room with two additional usb chargers. The lounge upstairs does not serve any drinks or food which is a shame as would make it so much better. We ended up bringing our own up.

First, MOV Hotel is perfectly situated in the heart of Bukit Bintang — just a 5-minute walk from Jalan Alor, and right behind the lively bar street. Everything is within walking distance: Lot 10, Fahrenheit, Pavilion, and more. Housekeeping was excellent — the bed was made daily, fresh towels were provided, and two small bottles of water were left on the table every morning. Special thanks to Hussain for taking great care of my room (801). We’ll definitely be back!

I recently had a 3 night stay at the MOV Hotel. First off, the location is great. The hotel itself is really nice and the staff are very friendly and helpful. It’s just a short walk to Jalan Alor (Food Street), Pavilion Kuala Lumpur shopping mall, and a metro station. There are several great restaurants and bars all within a short walk from MOV. The room itself was large with a great shower/bathroom and safe. If you find yourself in Kuala Lumpur you won’t be disappointed if you choose MOV Hotel.

This isn't something that the hotel can control but my room was on the backside of the hotel. There is a nightclub on the street behind the hotel that parties until about 5am. The sound was mostly muted (primarily the thumping of the bass in the music) and it didn't really interrupt my sleep but I noticed it. If you're a light sleeper you may do well to ask for a room on the front side of the hotel. Once again, the hotel can't do anything about this but just a little FYI.

Good central location and very convenient. Room was okay for the cost. Razak who checked us into the Hotel was very efficient and kind and upgraded our room complimentary which was an amazing gesture. I was very pleased as we had booked the lowest grade of room without windows and whilst we didnt spend much time in the Hotel, it was great to have a view of the lights in the city. He also rang us in the room to check everything was okay. There was a slight problem with laundry on the bed for which he arranged immediate rectification of the issue. As such we got to meet the housekeeper, sorry I dont know his name but he immediately sorted out the issue with no attitude , only kindness and a smile. The rooftop relaxation area is nice to sit out on during the evening with the smells, sounds and lights of the city. The gym was used , not huge but very clean, with enough equipment to carry out a good cardio and weight sessionand not feel guilty about gorging on the fantastic food in KL.

The hotel is beginning to look a bit tired and maybe a lick of paint and attention to to small decoration issues might elevate this Hotel to a much higher level. But for what we paid and the comfort, hospitality and location is it remains somewhere that we would return to again.

It was an amazing stay at MOV. The hotel staff was so nice and kind. The security person Bin (I hope Im not forgetting his name) assured me that I was safe here since it was my first experience as solo traveler and I was a little skeptical. The other guy Umair (I hope this was his name) was also nice and friendly. Reception staff was also very friendly. It gave me the best city views from my room window. Loved the rooftop pool, sitting area, and the views. Amazing experience.
