Mainly because of the location and easy to find eatery areas.

Room was upgraded to 3217. Spacious but not enough dustbin, and the pillowcases are stained with black marks. Even after requesting to change, but still did not meet the expectation. It's time to upgrade the linens (bed).

- At some part of the hotel wall, got like fungus/damp area maybe due to rainy season - The Kiblat direction provided on the ceiling is wrong. Always double check with your compass apps in the phone

Great location, good breakfast, staff friendly and very professional- great customer service. The Lady at reception desk was very helpful and lovely and so was concierge. All security guys very nice, always greeting us with a smile! Lots of water provided for the rooms.

Could have tea and coffee facilities in the room- but apart from that I cannot find anything else- we had great stay!

mostly good. But 2 not so good things to note: 1. one customer service staff make me queue and wait while she serves other customers when my room access card was not working. not sure if this is a management thingy, but this is poor customer service. 2. my name and room number was used by others to sign up for a free breakfast meal in the hotel cafe. it was not my signature and not my handwriting, so clearly this is a loophole that needs to be plugged.

The breakfast is quite splendid! There are Malay, Chinese and Arabian (shakshuka, baba ganousj, hoummous) dikshes, there's a Continental breakfast and even some Danish pastries, fruits, cakes, tarts, and the usual coffee, tea and juices. The rooms are quite spacious and well maintained and the hotel is located at a quiet location, near the LRT and KTM and there's even a hop on hop off bus stop just in front. Adjacent the hotel is the Sunway Putra Mall with the famous Selera Food Street, ATM's, a Guardian, some pop up shops, a mini fun park, H&M, Uniqlo, and many pop-up stalls. Tried the restaurant Nusantara too: Excellent and original Betawi taste of the Soto Betawi set! Quite filling.

The swimming pool area could use some plants! If the opening hours could be extended a bit, guests could profit from shopping AND the pool:)

Our experience at Sunway Putra Hotel was absolutely amazing from start to finish. The staff were incredibly welcoming, professional, and always ready to assist with a smile. Check-in was smooth and efficient, and we felt right at home the moment we arrived. The room was spotless, spacious, and well-equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The bed was super cozy, and the view from our room was simply stunning. Housekeeping was prompt and thorough every day. One of the highlights was the convenient location – directly connected to the Sunway Putra Mall and very close to public transport, which made getting around the city so easy. The hotel facilities, including the pool and gym, were also top-notch. Breakfast offered a great variety of delicious options, catering to both local and international tastes. Every detail was taken care of, and it really showed in the quality of service and comfort we received. I highly recommend Sunway Putra Hotel to anyone visiting Kuala Lumpur – it truly exceeded all our expectations. We can’t wait to come back!

We visited the Malaysian Furniture Fair and the World Trade Center was a 6-minute walk away. We had a practically two-room apartment with a living room and a bedroom on the 32nd floor. The view from the bedroom was of the Petronas Twin Towers. Check in was quick. Breakfast was plentiful. Along with breakfast, you could get yourself a very good European coffee from the coffee machine. My favorite is the cappuccino double with espresso. It was excellent.

Putra train station is a bit far, about 700m away. Check the train times, as the intervals between trains can be quite long. We came from the airport with a backpack to KL Central to Putra by train. It was a bit of a struggle to find the hotel location. By the way, taking a taxi from the airport to the hotel is even cheaper (if there are at least 2 people in the taxi) than taking the KLIA express to KL Central and then taking the train to the hotel.

One thing which was outstanding in this hotel - was the breakfast. Variety was unbelievable as was the quality. I normaly have little breakfast, but could not stop sampling food. The choice was to sattisfy any traveller from anywhere in the world.

Clearly the hotel's glory days are in the past. All amenities were fine and appropriate, but the quality and luxury sometimes not in a 5* category. The matress softness was not in my liking (too hard), but I know Asian people prefer hard matresses. The views of KLCC from the pool area are blocked by trees - why not having a clear view of such a visual amenity? Nevertheless, little was wrong in the hotel, just few little things here and there could have been better.

The room we booked was a Deluxe Classic Room. It was comfortable and luxurious. The price is a bit expensive but well worth the money. Staff were quite nice and helpful. The facilities were top notch and the rooms were cleaned everyday without any need to ask. The breakfast service was good particularly the Asian breakfast set. The room in dining was definitely delicous, though quite expensive. Parking was free. The best thing was the mall downstairs which was easily accessible.

The hotel does tend to show its age sometimes. The in dining meal was particlarly expensive as a normal single plate briyani tandoori chicken and drink will cost you more than RM 50.

Everytime we holidays to KL, we will stay this Hotel. Last time b4 renovated use to this name Legend and now Sunway Putra cos very convenient to shop, near MRT PTWC and away from busy area n road. With shopping centre just beside keep coming new store whenever we coming. All Staffs very friendly, keep it up. The Restaurant food also not bad, nice area. I don't mind to stay here again and again cos been others Hotel but i still prefer here😂

Only thing that I notice that the bed n bedsheet are not clean, got stains. Pillow too flat maybe it's too long and time to change and also got stain.🥹🥹😭
