We had a great stay at Sunway Putra Hotel! Pros: Lovely ambience, very cozy and modern. Affordable price for the value offered. The fish and chips were super duper delicious — definitely a highlight of our stay! A must order, each time we stay here. Facilities are in excellent condition, clean and well-maintained The staff were friendly and very helpful throughout our stay. Overall, it was a pleasant experience and we would gladly return again!

Cons: The breakfast dining area was quite cramped, especially during peak hours. Limited movements Would be nice to have more breakfast options for kids.

The room was very spacious, with one large bathroom and one small bathroom — basically, I had a twin room. Cleanliness was very good. The breakfast was decent, but compared to other hotels I’ve stayed at, it wasn’t that great. The location is good, as you can directly access Sunway Putra Mall from the hotel, though it is a bit away from the city center.

Staying here is reasonable, but if you want to see the Twin Towers all the time, then this place isn’t for you since it’s a bit away from the crowded areas. If you like hustle and bustle, you can stay in Bukit Bintang where there are plenty of accommodation options.

Mainly because of the location and easy to find eatery areas.

Room was upgraded to 3217. Spacious but not enough dustbin, and the pillowcases are stained with black marks. Even after requesting to change, but still did not meet the expectation. It's time to upgrade the linens (bed).

The breakfast is quite splendid! There are Malay, Chinese and Arabian (shakshuka, baba ganousj, hoummous) dikshes, there's a Continental breakfast and even some Danish pastries, fruits, cakes, tarts, and the usual coffee, tea and juices. The rooms are quite spacious and well maintained and the hotel is located at a quiet location, near the LRT and KTM and there's even a hop on hop off bus stop just in front. Adjacent the hotel is the Sunway Putra Mall with the famous Selera Food Street, ATM's, a Guardian, some pop up shops, a mini fun park, H&M, Uniqlo, and many pop-up stalls. Tried the restaurant Nusantara too: Excellent and original Betawi taste of the Soto Betawi set! Quite filling.

The swimming pool area could use some plants! If the opening hours could be extended a bit, guests could profit from shopping AND the pool:)

I had a very pleasant stay at Sunway Putra Hotel. The location is superb – directly connected to Sunway Putra Mall and just steps away from the PWTC LRT station, making it very convenient to explore Kuala Lumpur. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable with all the necessary amenities. Breakfast was impressive with a wide variety of Asian and Western options. The staff were friendly, professional, and always ready to help. Overall, this hotel offers great value for money. A few areas of the room could use some maintenance, but it didn’t affect my stay. Highly recommended for both business and leisure travelers.

Wifi Very Slow

Sunway Putra July 29, 30, 31 2025 Rm 2516, we got upgraded to a studio. Greatly appreciated. Check-In faster than in previous years. Very clean, very bright. Soundproofing is a bit weak, it should be improved. One of the high points of staying at the Sunway Putra is the very good breakfast . Specialities from around the world. Comfy beds, good wifi and AC. Staff should learn to smile. Check out fast and easy. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

Limited fruit and pastries options. No knife, how to butter your croissants ? Quality has suffered in the last few years.

Check in was smooth - staff at counter very friendly. Breakfast was superb - a whole range of choices from local, western, Arabic, Chinese and Indian delicacies. New TV, very large -- nice! And I love the smell of your liquid soap -- so refreshing

The lift services to WTCKL are confusing. Either we go the long way which is a hassle because we have to change lifts a few times. Or the shortcut to avoid changing lifts but we could end up taking a lift that doesn't have the stop button for Level 1, and have to go down one level, change lift and go up again to Level 1 to reach the walkway to cross over to WTCKL

I loved my stay so much! First of all, I truly appreciate the staff member named Zafaarhani (sorry if I misspelled his name) because he totally catered to my request for an early check-in! He was so warm and welcoming at the reception, even though they were fully booked over the weekend. During my stay, I also requested housekeeping to change my bedsheets and pillow covers because my makeup (for an event) had gotten on them while I was napping during the day—silly me, I know! But they replaced everything without any hesitation. I absolutely loved my stay there and would definitely come again if I have any events in KL in the future!

- At some part of the hotel wall, got like fungus/damp area maybe due to rainy season - The Kiblat direction provided on the ceiling is wrong. Always double check with your compass apps in the phone
