breakfast was good and covers the usual varieties. Location wise, good that it is quiet but the surrounding empty buildings made it a bit on the eerie side

1) The shower was not elderly friendly. My 70 year old mom had a bit of a tough time getting into the bathtub to just use the showers. 2) The staff who did my check out did not prompt for my deposit slip. I had to ask them then only she asked me for the slip. Which, I admit it slipped my mind that I had the slip but luckily I remembered I had put in deposit of RM100 during check in. Since deposits are a default for Ames, then it should be a standard check out question rather than wait for the client to present the slip. Clients might have forgotten that they had to show the slip as not many hotels hold deposits.

The room is exceptionally spacious, with a king-sized bed and cushy pillows. It was spotlessly clean, and we were welcomed by a pleasant fragrance upon entering. The room also includes a large TV and a bathtub. Additionally, basement parking is conveniently provided.

The building and its location feel a bit eerie, especially at night. If you plan to go out after dark, it’s best not to stay out too late, as the area is quiet and dimly lit. The provided shower gel had an unpleasant scent, so bringing your own is recommended. The sahur menu was quite limited, and not sure whether it offers the same value as the breakfast menu.

New hotel with nice interior decor. Buffet breakfast has a wide selection of food. Quality of food is very good. Restaurant and concierge staff were very friendly and helpful.

Room was dusty.The glass shelf above the coffee making cabinet, the rail for hanging clothes in the wardrobe and the iron were very dusty. House keeping didn’t do a thorough job in cleaning it. About time to change the bath towels. Changing colour to yellowish and threads are coming off. For a 5 star rated hotel this is kind of unacceptable.

1. There's no water dispenser available for guests. 2. There were small insects (idk what it's called, could be termites) at the countertop. But it didn't really affect our stay. 3. The TV is not a smart TV with Netflix app available. 4. Wifi sometimes had low connections.

Location was near to highway but since we were driving it was very convenient for us to travel to our desired places. The breakfast was good. Quite a good spread. The room was big and the patio was also very spacious. The bed and pillows were awesomely very comfortable. Toilet was also spacious with a bathtub. Aircon, heater, electric kettle, iron were all working good. There was also a safe box. Value for money and was very happy with our stay

The room did not have a sofa and table so that we can have our meal or coffee inside the room. There were 2 chairs and a small table at the patio. Table was extremely small.

Amazing hotel, convenient enough for the food and room.

When I was checking in at the counter, I was told to pay a deposit, which was fine. However, the staff that I dealt with, were a bit rude. I did not have enough ringgit cash, and asked for any other payment methods, either paynow, etc and even with foreign currency. I asked a few times, but the staff ignored my question and continued his work. He was also unsure by he looks but hesitant to ask his superior on what to do. When I started to get irritated, luckily his colleague/senior staff from the next counter heard and advised that they could accept foreign currency for deposit. So it was sorted.

The hotel was better than expected. the rooms and all was great. Breakfast spread was good too. It was close to where we needed to be but a bit far from Jonker and the main town. All in all, it was a great stay

The towels would have been a bit thicker as it felt a bit thin. Also, if the pillows would be a little firmer as it felt like it wasn't enough support on the head. The phone in my room also wasn't working properly. Parking was a bit of an issue as well as sometimes we needed to park a bit further.

Throughout our stay at the hotel, the staff provided exceptional assistance, consistently demonstrating politeness and friendliness. The breakfast, overseen by the chef, was fantastic, with timely replenishment and delightful flavors. The tranquil atmosphere and spacious rooms, complete with a bathtub that delighted my little one, contributed to a remarkably comfortable stay at this hotel.

Upon checking in, I noticed a strong cigarette smell in the room. Fortunately, I had brought along an air freshener to eliminate the odor. Apart from that, everything else was satisfactory.
