Positive: I had a lovely stay at Rahsia Motel. The staff were incredibly friendly and made us feel very welcome throughout our visit. One of the highlights was being lucky enough to spot the Dusky Leaf Monkeys right from our kitchen window—such a unique and special experience! The motel is beautifully surrounded by nature, offering a peaceful setting that really allowed us to unwind.

The only downside was the noise from people around the pool at night. On one occasion, the noise continued until the early hours with people drinking and being quite loud. It would definitely be great if the motel enforced some quiet hours to maintain the peaceful atmosphere, especially for guests who prefer to rest early. Overall: Despite the noise issue, I would recommend Rahsia Motel for its amazing staff, the beautiful natural surroundings, and the chance to see the Dusky Leaf Monkeys. If you’re looking for a relaxing stay with a bit of nature, this is a great choice, but just keep in mind the possibility of some late-night activity by the pool so bring earplugs if you are a light sleeper.

Really nice pool. Quiet location, off the road. The walk to the beach is about 20 minutes but the road is not very busy and there is pavement most of the way. There is also a self-service laundromat and a small convenience store really close. There are a lot of eateries close by but we never actually ate in them so can’t comment on quality. There is a small shared kitchen area and our room was equipped with plates etc. Also free water refills. Clean fridge in the room.

Our room was quite dark and could do with better lighting. The bathroom has a strong small of damp. These were only minor issues. I would happily stay here again.

Near to beach (motor ride) and convenient store is only a walking distance from the motel. Easy to find food stall along the road. Calm and quiet surrounding.

I like the location of the stay. It is near the airport with Grab and also less than 5 minute drive to Cenang beach. They rent scooters, so you can drive anywhere. There is a lot of space. You have very well equipped kitchen. In the room there is everything you need. Small kitchen setup with microwave and fridge. Bathroom is basic but nice and clean. Main room is spacious. Bed is comfortable with good pillows. In front of the room we had enough place and 2 small chairs and a table. The common are is nice and tropical looking. With a lot of palm trees for shade around the pool. Pool is clean and a good addition to the place. Area is generally quiet except at praying times in the morning. We enjoyed our stay very much!

The pool was hot and it was impossible to cool off in July at 34 degrees.

We had a huge clean room with a great shower and a very big terrace. The staff were great - very helpful and we hired a scooter from them. The pool is lovely, but there weren’t many sunbeds (and some of those didn’t have cushions). There’s a self-service laundromat literally 2 minutes walk away, and the rooms have great racks to hang your washing on. It’s a 15 minute walk to the lovely local beach, but easy to do. There’s a few restaurants within a 5 / 10 minute walk from the property which had great food. The motel has a shared kitchen area and a hot & cold water dispenser. We had a great stay here! The room was spacious and clean and the fridge with the sink was a welcome addition. The shared kitchen was great with plenty of pots, pans and utensils. The motel offers free drinking water and you can use the payable washers and dryers in the hotel next door for washing clothes. The pool was brilliant! Lovely area with plenty of sunbeds. We also rented mopeds from the motel for a good price. The lady running the hotel is incredibly kind and very helpful!

It was a little out of the way so you need mopeds to get around. Although we knew this before booking so not really a negative. The air conditioning wasn’t great which made for uncomfortable sleeping.

Great stay here, we extended to stay another 3 nights so 6 nights in total. Small family ran hotel, staff are lovely and very helpful. The pool area is great, gets the sun all day till about 4/5 when half goes shaded. Some sun beds are in the shade of the coconut trees which is great - can be easily moved around the pool. Rented a scooter from here for reasonable price, kept this throughout our stay. Would recommend a scooter as is a walk away from main beach but is walkable. There are restaurants/cafes within walking distance and small convenience store at the end of the street. Kitchen includes large fridge and microwave. Room was spacious and included a dining table. Good aircon.

Nothing was a great stay. A few more sun loungers round the pool may be good for when hotel is full. Although not essential.

Location is very good! Pool is clean with lights at night. Big rooms and great shower facilities.

We were here for 3n4d and only saw staff once. Not even during checkin or checkout. Hard to reach them if you have questions or issues. Blankets on bed had some spots and holes. But overall great value for money! We booked a nearby hotel for a few hours to store our luggage as the hotel wanted more for luggage storage than buying a room for another night. Kinda weird.

Pool, moped hire and the staff very helpful

The chalet we had was very spacious and clean. The pool area was lovely and very relaxing. There is a hot and cold water dispenser at the reception and a shared kitchen space which was useful. The location was a bit further away from the Cenang strip than I expected, about a 20 minute walk but you can get a grab for just 5-7RM. You can also rent pedal bikes and motorcycles directly from the motel. In all honesty it was nice to be away from it all and have the option to venture down to Cenang centre. There is a little shop on site and laundry services a short walk away. The staff were all very pleasant. Overall it was a very enjoyable stay for us, you get good value for money and I'd recommend it to others.

The fridge could have done with a wipe down and the beds weren't the most comfortable.
