We had a wonderfully relaxing stay at Langkawi Chantique. The individual bungalow style room was spotlessly clean and comfortable. The room included a glass jug to allow you to fill with water from the water dispenser in the cafe, in order to reduce plastic bottles being used. The bed was comfy if slightly harder then we're used to, although this didn't impact our experience at all. The property boasts a lovely pool area with sun loungers and canopy style beds. The staff were very friendly and happy to help with any questions, they also offered recommendations for local activities. We really enjoyed our stay and would love to return!

The property is located a 15-20minute walk from the nearest beach/ shopping area, this didn't bother us at all, but it may be something to bare in mind.

The staffs who prepared breakfast for us and the staffs who cleaned our rooms, they were very nice. Thank you.💖They made us felt like we are staying at our grandma's home. We felt they cared and they did their best for us. We were lucky that during our stay, the hotel rooms was under-booked so we had the swimming pool to ourselves (4 of us - me, my husband and my 2 yound kids). The room were spacious. The breakfast menu was so good, for a 2-star hotel they had a good variety. Well done! This hotel is suitable for groups and family bcos most of their rooms have connecting rooms. Overall the rooms, and the hotel surrounding was very clean and well-kept. Good job!

They don't provide in-house laundry service, no room service. But they allowed us to order food via Grab, so that was ok. They were quite strict with their breakfast policy. One of their hotel manager scolded me in front of my 2 young kids. He said I am too demanding. In my opinion, we paid for the stay, so we can be demanding to a certain extend. It could also be a test-point to see how far the hotel management would go to make your stay a memorable experience. I thought that conversation could have been done in a separate session without my kids looking at me gettting scolded. That was not so nice experience. I cried in my heart.

Very nice hotel, pool, and breakfast. Friendly and helpful staff who can advise on places to go and places to eat. You can also loan a push bike for a day, or rent a scooter. Both of which are good fun, to explore more the area. The beach is about 15 minutes walk away, with many activities, a bit crowded, but nearby Tengah beach is nicer. The Thursday night market is nearby and has some excellent local food. The breakfast is very good, lots of choices including omlette, scrambled eggs, very nice samosa, fruit, bread and coffee. I would strongly recommend this hotel.

We loved chantique. The location was far enough away from the strip that it was peaceful but we never felt isolated. There are plenty shops and places to eat nearby, even the night market. The accommodation was great and the staff were exceptional (especially moon!). We stayed at a larger hotel afterwards and we much preferred chantique. The staff treat you with kindness and charm that you don’t get in larger facilities. We will definitely be coming back!

Very clean and peaceful. Great pool area. Enjoyed sitting under the fan on the terrace. Very friendly and helpful staff. Would definitely recommend.

It is a bit of a walk from the center but would be less than 20 minutes. Easy and cheap to get a grab if you prefer.

Chantique is exactly as described on Booking.com . It is a good 20 min walk to Pentai C, so we hired a scooter for next to nothing from the hotel, it is with this in mind that I rate the property. Reception was good, and you pay your returnable deposit. We were very lucky to be upgraded to a pool view. Our room had a large comfortable bed, seating area, lovely hot shower room and veranda . Breakfast was lovely, fresh eggs made to order - omelette, scrambled or fried and a good selection of cereals, fruit, hot western and Malaysian sides, breads, cake, juices and hot drinks, fresh water available all day from dispenser. The whole place is immaculately clean. We were made to feel so welcome. Night food markets are held down the road in walking distance and the sky bridge was half hour scooter ride away, grab taxis work well and are cheap . Absolutely nothing negative and would recommend this very peaceful small hotel, gorgeous , well done to the owner , quite exceptional , thank you

It was exactly as they describe it , so nothing to moan about, it was lovely, spotless.

We really enjoyed our stay, it is a small compact group of villas with a pool. We had a room overlooking the pool. Everything worked really well, the breakfasts were great , the place was clean and well maintained and the staff helpful. We have no hesitation in recommending it and will return if in the area.

Having said all the good things about the place, it would be even better if they could provide: 1. either an extension lead or additional sockets as there were only two in the room 2. additional shelves in the wardrobe as it is mainly hanging 3. a bedside table on each side of the bed 4. a hair dryer that can be used in the bathroom rather than next to the bed where there is no mirror Overall small things, but something for management to consider.

It's a lovely property close to the beach and lots of restaurants etc. The staff were so friendly, very proactive and helpful. We rented a scooter easily from reception which was handy to get to the main attractions on the island. We visited in March so it is a quieter time of year. The swimming pool was very clean and refreshing, although it is important to note that it is a saltwater pool. The breakfast buffet was very good, with the staff on hand to prepare eggs to your request. I also recommend the baked beans - very tasty! Our room was spacious, the bed was big and comfy. It was very clean too. There were a few ants now and then, but nothing excessive and quite normal for an island (I experienced a lot worse in Bali!)

Everything and everyone. It’s hard to know what to say about this amazing place that will do it justice! The staff are all incredible - so happy and friendly and will go out of their way to help you with anything you need. They have put so much thought into the details - beach towels, umbrellas to borrow, eggs on demand at breakfast as well as the usual stuff like toiletries and tea and coffee station. The location is awesome - walking distance (or a $1 grab) to the Cenang strip, and they rent scooters if you want to go further afield. The pool is spotlessly clean and so refreshing after a hot day. We stayed 7 nights and had the most wonderful time, we can’t thank you enough for making our visit to Langkawi so perfect.

I recently stayed at Langkawi Chantique while competing in the Ironman 70.3, and I have to say, the staff truly made the experience unforgettable. From the moment I arrived, they went out of their way to make sure I was comfortable and had everything I needed. Whether it was helping me with my bags or arranging transportation, nothing seemed too much trouble for them. The room was comfortable and clean, and after long training days, it was exactly what I needed to relax. The location is great – close enough to the main attractions but still quiet enough for some peace. What really stood out, though, was how the staff went above and beyond. They even offered me some great local tips, which made my stay even better. The personal attention they gave really made a difference, and it’s not something you experience everywhere. I highly recommend staying here if you’re looking for a friendly, relaxing place in Langkawi. The team at Langkawi Chantique will take great care of you!
