Great location, lovely non-toursity spot, central to get around the island. Room OK, bathroom, good, The island was fantastic, with lots to do within 15-20 mins of the property (bonus that Mdina/Rabat were a few minutes drive away) and some excellent eating establishments, a big shout out to the Pancake Parlor (Zeebug), St Philips Pizza (Zeebug), The Crystal Palave (Rabat), Museum Cafe (Valetta) and the excellent seafood restaurants in Marsalokk. Weather in November was perfect for us 22-25deg with a gentle breeze.

Wasn't impressed with the quality of the breakfast, nor with the host tutting (huffing and puffing) when we turned up right at end of breakfast time on second day, after that we ate elsewhere for breakfast, the Pancake Parlour just over the road was great and very friendly. Definitely wasn't impressed with the fact that builders were in the B&B during the day (we should have been informed about this before our holiday), this made relaxing (on balcony, in room) unbearable during the day, the host did not even apologise when discussed with her. Wifi wasn't exactly stable, kept dropping out (but reconnected) and parking nearby is an issue, often ended up 300m from property.

The hotel staff is super nice and the hotel is very beautiful. The pool area is very nice and the breakfast very good. There were also gluten free options which was very nice! Very much recommended.

Only thing that would be good to clarify more is that parking is not included as there is no parking of the hotel itself. But still there are public parking possibilities around the hotel that are free. Just would be good to maybe clarify it a little more.

We had a great experience at Hotel BB De Rohan after switching from our previous disappointing accommodation. The hotel is lovely with very friendly and attentive staff. We particularly appreciated the complimentary room upgrade, as my mother and I were traveling over my birthday and needed two separate beds. The rooftop terrace and Jacuzzi were fantastic and truly enhanced our stay. The hotel's charming atmosphere and beautiful decor further enriched our experience. Additionally, the key boxes at the entrance provided convenient access. The hotel's location is also convenient for exploring the island, and there's a nice restaurant just across the street.

Parking was challenging due to limited spaces, making it a bit stressful to find a spot, especially with the narrow one-way streets and driving on the left, which can be tricky for Germans. The town itself doesn't offer much in terms of activities or entertainment and can be quite quiet. Additionally, the rooms are somewhat lightly built, making them more susceptible to noise, which is common in southern European hotels.

Not far from the Airport . We occupied a cosy twin-bed-room with walk-in-shower and the guesthouse has an elevator/lift . Lovely garden and clean pool !! Breakfast was okay but with too many people in the breakfast-room and garden moving to the small buffet corner was .... let's say : " unorganized " but food was nice and coffee and choice of fruit juices okay . In case you arrive by taxi , do wait till you are sure it's near the hotel because ours dropped us a 10 minutes walk away !! There is a pancake house 50 meters away for snack or lunch and a very good Italian restaurant as well , the Ocra with very friendly chef Paolo ... limited choice ( see menu photo ) but he prepares great food !! Say Hello to him please , from the Belgians !

We had a great stay here. The staff were genuinely friendly and accommodating — they even let us swim a bit longer after checkout, which was a nice touch. Complimentary drinks, snacks, and ice cream were unexpected perks that really added to the experience. The area is quiet and relaxing, but still close to a lot of good restaurants. Amenities were complete, and the highlight was definitely the large balcony/veranda with a jacuzzi — perfect for unwinding. Only downside: the room we stayed in was on the smaller side. It didn’t ruin the stay, but it’s worth keeping in mind if space matters to you. That said, everything else made up for it. Would recommend for couples or anyone looking for a chill, stress-free escape.

We loved the pool table in the lobby. The rooms were spacious and clean, the beds very comfortable. A packed breakfast for our early morning departure was a nice touch. The hotel is situated in the old part of the town, almost near the central church. We did not get to explore the town as it was our last night in Malta and we came there late and tired, but it looked like a nice place to walk around. For us it was important that the place was close to the airport since we had to fly very early in the morning.

It is a bit difficult to notice the hotel from the street. We passed unnoticed it at first. Would be good to add some sign visible from the street. Also the parking may be difficult at times, but we were told that on usual days it's not difficult to find a parking spot close to hotel on normal days.

We really enjoyed Zebbug, which is the 2e oldest city in Malta. It is still very traditional so we really felt that we were sharing European life from another time! The bus stop was a short walk away, near the piazza, and connected to all the sites; Bolt and Uber are very reasonable as well. There is a lot of traffic on very narrow streets. Renting a car is not recommended and really not necessary! The BB de Rohan loft is a historical accomodation, very clean and reasonably priced. The bed is very comfortable; we always travel with earplugs and we slept very well. The breakfasts were superb and Lynn and her staff were always happy to suggest places to see and how best to get there. The loft location is within walking distance to several cafes, restaurants, grocery stores and markets; our appt had a well-appointed kitchen. We were there in winter (Feb-March) and the days got warm: 15-19C which is warmer than usual but great for walking. However, we should have packed more warm clothes, since their winters are windy making it feel cooler.

We had an amazing stay! The rooms were spotless, comfy, and cleaned every single day. On our first day, we arrived super early (around 8 AM, check-in was at 3 PM) and the lovely owner let us use the swimming pool and enjoy breakfast for free. She’s such a kind and welcoming person, always happy to help, and she even treated us to free drinks and snacks every day. We truly felt at home here and would 100% come back. Highly recommend!

We booked to stay at BB De Rohan for my partners birthday. I chose the roof terrace with hot tub as a special treat. It was absolutely perfect. Clean, spacious, the bed was very comfortable. The staff were welcoming and so friendly. We loved Zebugg because it was authentic Malta and close to the concert arena where we had tickets to see Take That. Lynne was wonderful and went out of her way to make sure we had the perfect stay. We will definitely be back 😊

The main hotel pool didn’t get the sunshine but that could have been because our visit wasn’t in the height of summer.

Excellent breakfast in a lovely poolside setting. The room itself was very tastefully decorated with modern, spacious bathroom and comfy bed. Lovely hostess.

Street parking can be challenging. We only stayed for one night on our way to Gozo so it didn't impact us too greatly.
