We stayed in Gozo for a friend’s wedding, and I can honestly say it was a fantastic experience from start to finish! Villa dei Venti hotel is in a stunning location in Qala, with beautiful views and a lovely, boutique feel that made our stay feel extra special. The staff were amazing, a huge shoutout to Amber, who was so lovely and went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. She truly made our stay unforgettable! The bedrooms were stunning, with big, comfy beds and gorgeous views. We also really enjoyed the breakfast — it wasn’t your typical buffet, but a menu with loads of choice. The eggs Benedict and full English were both incredible! We loved how close the hotel was to some little bars and restaurants just down the road, many of which overlook the church — absolutely stunning in the evenings! Plus, Bolt taxis were really cheap, and it was super easy to get to the beach, where we spent most of our days. So you don't need to hire a car. We also took a morning trip to the Blue Lagoon on the Comino Island, which I highly recommend. The boat ride itself was great fun, and I’d suggest going early as it can get quite busy later after midday. I would 100% recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Gozo. Can’t wait for our next visit!

One small suggestion would be to have a plug socket near the long mirror, but honestly, that’s a tiny detail in what was otherwise a perfect stay.

We had an amazing stay at Villa dei Venti! Everything was perfect — from the super friendly staff to the room and facilities. We booked the room with a private pool and zero regrets. Huge terrace with two loungers, a small pool, lounge area, umbrella — perfect for relaxing. The room was fully equipped with everything we needed. We didn’t have breakfast included, but twice we tried the à la carte menu — excellent both times. They also provided special towels for the pool, which was a nice touch. The only (very small) downside: the bathroom door is more of a thin sliding screen. If you’re in the early stages of a relationship... let’s just say it doesn’t leave much to the imagination. Other than that — would absolutely stay again!

I had a wonderful stay at Villa dei Venti. The property is exceptionally clean and modern, which made my experience very comfortable. Housekeeping was superb — everything was spotless throughout my stay. A special mention to Glenn, who was incredibly friendly, professional, and attentive. He was always ready to help, often solving any issue before I even had to ask. The location was also great, with plenty of local bars and excellent restaurants just a short walk away. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to others.

The location is amazing and offers great views over Gozo. Also, the staff was exceptional and friendly and accommodated all of our wishes as we were there for a round birthday. The amenities are all very clean and well kept :)

There is only minor things about the rooms that we didn’t like: - The beds are very soft and the mattresses seem like they might need replacing. - There are no mosquito nets in front of the doors/windows. - One of the rooms had a shower curtain which made the shower very small, which seems a bit outdated.

The staff were really friendly and helpful - great customer service! We were upgraded which was lovely for me and my husband as it was our wedding anniversary. Nicely decorated and clean. The food was of a high standard including the breakfast- really tasty meals and nice local wine. And a beautiful view.

The bed was not the most comfortable it felt as though the mattress were broken in the middle/springs gone. The toilet seemed to be leaking slightly which gave the bathroom an unpleasant smell. We only noticed it on the 2nd night (last night) so didn’t bother asking to switch rooms especially as the smell remained in the bathroom.

The small number of rooms made the accommodation feel cosy and intimate. The pool area was never overcrowded, providing a relaxing and enjoyable experience. The staff was very nice and personable, where they consistently asked about our day, showing genuine interest. All the requests were fulfilled promptly and with a friendly attitude.

Our room wasn't cleaned during our stay, however, we later realised that this was because we missed a door sign in our room, which stated to make up our room. This could be made clearer and communicated upon check-in to avoid future misunderstandings.

We loved this place. The room was super spacious and modern. Has all amenities. The shower was pure bliss. Coffee and kettle in room. Huge bathroom. Staff were super nice, great service and even made pancakes for the kids, which were not on the menu. Really amazing experience.

Friendly helpful staff especially Amber who organised car hire..Eagles Garage and gave us a good recommendation for a local diving company...Blue Water who were brilliant. Beautiful breakfast menu and lunch and dinner. All cooked fresh when ordered. Nice pool and terrace area. Easy walk to the square where there were bars and restaurants. Room was lovely and spacious with a terrace overlooking the pool.

Nothing to dislike

I liked the location of the accommodation. It has amazing views and is located in a peaceful road. Every morning I used to go out on the balcony with my cup of coffee and rest my eyes on the Mediterranean and the island's surrounding hills.

I definitely did not like that I had to leave. Villa dei Venti is a beautiful accommodation for families, friends and couples alike.

Villa dei Venti was wonderful!! It is a small hotel with great attention to detail and really thoughtful staff who look after you calmly and very well. I really enjoyed my stay here and the food was excellent. Will be missing my homemade granola when I get home!
