We stayed at Azur Paradise for two nights with my best friend. Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed with a welcome drink and a cold towel at the reception, which was a nice touch considering the warm weather. The check-in process felt friendly, but our immediate next impression was that the hotel has quite a lot of rules. After filling out the usual guest information form, as expected everywhere, we were also given an A4 sheet listing the hotel’s rules, which we had to sign. The hotel is entirely non-smoking, which is great for non-smokers who don’t have to worry about cigarette smoke from neighboring balconies. However, as we do smoke, we found it a bit inconvenient that smoking wasn’t allowed even on our own balcony. That said, the rooms don’t seem to have full balconies, but rather French-style ones. Our room on the 3rd floor had a stunning view of the bay, which we really appreciated. For smokers, there are designated areas at the SkyBar on the rooftop and near the pool at street level. The hotel is exceptionally clean, and the staff is extremely friendly. Both the small pool near the reception on the ground floor and the SkyBar restaurant on the rooftop are lovely places to relax. The location is excellent, with all essential services and the beach nearby. A larger shopping mall, a big grocery store, a self-service laundry, and other conveniences are within a 10-minute walking distance. A car is not necessarily needed here.

Good location in Grand baie, 100meters from seafront. beach shops & restaurants 5min walk. good price for a large clean & Modern room. With a huge Yes huge bed !! Didnt have to put up with wifey kicking me in her sleep here :-) Nice size room & Cleaned daily. With a sofa & pool view. Nice pool & 4 loungers. Carpark at rear & a Rooftop bar that can be noisy at night so ask for a lower level room. Tropical cyclone Belal 🌪 decided to visit so we were confined to the hotel for 2 days. Not a problem though, staff were great especially magen, the breakfast waiter who Stayed there throughout serving day meals to , as room service & always friendly chatting. Breakfast had 4 warm options daily & cook fresh Omelette. Along with toast cheese ham fruit yoghurt & croissants. 3 juices & plenty of coffee :-)

Only small downsides, The fridge in room 102 is more like a coolbox. Gives zero cold out itself !! Ok to store already cold stuff in , If chilling by pool the only toilet is in your room or rooftop. Maybe have a small bar on ground level for drinks by pool ??

Location is perfect, view from my room was amazing. Staff were always helpful and cleaning services were great. Room was amazing, would definitely book again very spacious and the little living room is a bonus.

Breakfast has to be reviewed it was a bit limited, felt like there was not enough choice, for example they offered sliced bread that didn’t seem very fresh, instead they could have proposed fresh baguette (I saw a few nice bakeries in Mauritius) same for the viennoiseries that didn't seem fresh. The toaster was not the best, took ages to get the bread toasted. They proposed french toast that were cold.

The room was very spacious and elegant, with a big comfy bed and all the necessary utensils. We really enjoyed the Moods bar upstairs, both for breakfast and for sundowner drinks with a wonderful view towards the Bay. 🍹 The location of the hotel is great, lots of bars and restaurants around reachable by foot.

The bathroom in our room was a bit moldy, but when we approached the management with this concern, they immediately sent cleaning staff to make it better. The mold was not gone completely, but the effort helped a lot for our short stay.

Great stay! Clean rooms, good breakfast, friendly staff. They really went beyond the necessary to make our stay such a joyous experience. The breakfast is generous and substantially varied from seasonal fruits to cereals, cold meats, cheese and choice of eggs. I highly recommend this venue. An absolutely enjoyable stay at Azur Paradise.😬

More sun loungers around the pool .

No notification when the contractors started to drill and smack the walls. A letter to inform guests as to what is happening would have been great.
