It's in city center of grand baie, but it's not loud at night... in the evening there was always some excellent live music at the restaurant at ground floor, which you could enjoy and relax at the balcony... the balcony you share with the whole level, maybe good to know, but that's not bad at all... the view all ober the bay was greatful... the room was very clean, the bed was comfortable, you got fresh towels every day and a big bottle water, there's a little fridge and a water boiler with which you can make coffee/tea (instant - you get every day from housekeeping)... the bathroom was very nice... the ac worked very well... there's a huge supermarket nearby (mall - one 5 minutes to walk, the bigger one 15 minutes to walk)... the public beaches were nearby (2 minutes to walk, or 10 minutes to the other, mon choisy beach 40 minutes to walk)... it's a safe surrounding area (although at night there are sometimes some beggars on the street)... a lot of good restaurants <5 min. to walk... the breakfast was very good (omlette, bread, croissant, yoghurt, coffee/tea, fresh fruits, etc..), very nice and helpful staff at reception...

The old waiter at breakfast was not very nice, but the other one even more, so it's not bad at all... maybe good to mention that there's now hair dryer, for me it diddn't matter, but if you need you shoul take one with you, or maybe you could ask at reception, don't know... in the room on the wall at the ground, one some parts the paint peels, not bad at all, just a little, i didn't mind... so at all, nothing really bad to tell about... it was a nice stay and i definitly would come back 😉

Fabulous location - excellent views of the bay from the communal balcony. Room was tastefully decorated, fresh water, tea and coffee daily. No issues with hot water, instant when needed. Room was cleaned daily and towels changed, room was left smelling fresh and clean. And the bed….. so very soft and comfortable, pillows your head simply falls into, which made for a very comfortable stay. Toilet and shower sectioned off with a shower curtain. Continental breakfast provided daily, staff friendly and welcoming. Overall a lovely and pleasant stay.

My only recommendation (by no means this is not a criticism) would be to put warning sign on glass doors in reception as you can’t see when they’re closed in the dark (Tuesdays when the bar down stairs is closed and it’s a little dark), I walked into them in the dark. Maybe this would be a good idea.

The hotel is really good. The staff is attentive and caring. Everyone’s polite and helpful. The location: magnificent view on the beautiful harbor. Which you may fully enjoy having a delicious substantial breakfast on the balcony. There are several public beaches nearby. Our favorite was Mont Choisy which is just 8 minutes away by car. Tremendously picturesque and convenient The facilities: Parking lot is small and we sometimes had some difficulties finding the spot in the evening. But the staff always helped us out straight away. It was a matter of 5 minutes The interior of the room. The size is ordinary as it’s said in the description. There were some absolutely nice details about the design - the shower, the lamp, the light in the mirror. The room is perfect for single or couple stay. As for the family stay, one might find it a little uncomfortable to deal with shower or toilet with the curtains instead of the doors. But , in general, everything was perfect, including everyday cleaning. Which was absolutely non-intrusive. They managed to clean at any time of the day, not hurrying us anywhere. Friendly and accommodating staff - They were able to check me in despite my very early arrival of 715am. Room was spacious and clean. Shared porch on each floor with the sea view was lovely. Breakfast was great! Great wifi. Location - on the coastal road. 10mins walk to the supermarket and public beach. Also just around the shopping area and the jetty where the island hopping tours leave for Ile aux Gabriel and Ile aux Flat. They also offer tours with better rates compared to other places. The restaurant on the ground level had great food (although one of the staff I found very unfriendly, while the rest was just great).

Just minor maintenance stuff - the outlets by the bed did not work, and some small hole on the wall should've been covered.

Loved everything about our stay here! We loved it so much, we extended our stay. The rooms were so comfortable and spacious, the balcony views were absolutely breathtaking. Breakfast was incredible. The staff, 5 star hospitality. From the front desk staff to the breakfast staff, everyone was beyond wonderful! There's a supermarket and many stores walking distance, a great restaurant on the main level, a beach a 5 minute walk away or other beach options via the bus. The staff will help organize any tours or itineraries. We arranged our airport pickup with the hotel and it was seamless. If you're looking in the grand baie area, this hotel is a must to stay!

From check in to check out, staff are excellent. Very friendly hotel. Rooms have a beachy feel with lots of lighting. Mini fridge and comfy beds. The shower has great water pressure and choice of hand held or rainfall. Toilets don’t have doors but is in a separate room. From the sink and shower area. There are curtains to close off the washroom area, I liked it the way it is. The restaurant downstairs is also a bonus! Great food and service. Minutes to walk to centre and grand baie beach and about 15 to la cuvette beach

I had a lot of luggage so I always intentionally book big rooms, but the size of my room was smaller than the square footage listed on booking so it felt tight. Opening the blinds to enjoy the view was heavy and complicated. no hook for toilet paper in bathroom, just loose TP rolls. Cash only for excursions, drivers, etc. but this seems to be across all Mauritius. The island needs to adapt more CC tap.

Brand new hotel within a walking distance to the beach, shops and restaurants. Very delicious breakfast and free parking for a car. Nice sea view from the terrace. We also had awesome dinner at the restaurant downstairs with professional bartenders and their show.

The cleaning lady burnt me with a hot iron. Also, some other tourists were too loud and too drunk in the common terrace.

The Hotel is in Central Gran Baie, has a nice view of the bay and a lot of restaurants and shops in close distance. there are also nice beaches in close distance. The room itself has a nice size and a really comfortable bed. The bathroom had a nice spacious shower with good water pressure and hot water. The breakfast was nice with fresh eggs but didnt have a lot of variety. the restaurant at the ground floor is good and has nice live music. big bonus points for the nice staff! they also organized two nice boat trips, which both were fantastic.

- it had a really strong chemical smell in the beginning - it’s definitely noisy due to the street and the windows are not so sound proof - bathroom area and toilet didn’t have doors, just curtains - the curtain to the bathroom was quite annoying hanging close to the bed
