The breakfast was exceptional, and we had a lot to choose from. Our room was spacious, and the jacuzzi was excellent. We missed having windows in the apartment, though. The staff went above and beyond, exceeding our expectations in every way. Every team member was friendly, approachable, and eager to assist us with any questions or requests we had. Their positivity and dedication created a welcoming atmosphere, making us feel right at home. A special thank you goes to our waiters, Ramma and Ryan, who truly stood out with their warm and attentive service. Their kindness and professionalism made our stay all the more memorable and enjoyable.

The hotel is brand new so everything is spotless and in fab condition. Beach is just gorgeous. Staff are lovely!

If travelling in a couple - there isn't an enclosed bathroom so there isn't much toilet privacy, so this might not be for everyone! The beach is small for the hotel size and gets lots of seaweed on. Since it's very new there are some teething issues - we had to send a lot of food back and there were a few breakdowns in communication /language barrier - though I am sure this will be improved.

It was an incredible experience. The staff from dining room to reception, housekeeping to management were great. All very friendly, accommodating, and welcoming. The hotel was super clean, with amazing views, and peaceful. The food was exceptional and we had zero complaints. The waiting staff also made it very memorable! Management was also keen is making sure our stay was flawless and that was appreciated.

Everything was great!

We had such a great time at the Sea Diamond Hotel. We travelled with our one year old daughter and the staff looked after us extremely well. By the end of our stay everyone knew our little ones name :-) The hotel is truly a boutique accommodation - the service was super bespoke and the hotel itself is/felt brand new. The room was spacious and stunning, one of the best hotel rooms we have ever stayed in. The food was excellent - the hotel even offered to cook for our daughter separately. But what made this hotel truly amazing was the hospitality of the staff - literally everyone was just so kind to us (note we stayed at another place in Mauritius where we had a completely different experience). The whole experience felt 5star, thanks so much for having us.

Unfortunately there was a cyclone passing the region with strong winds which has made the water a bit cloudier than I suspect it generally is, however the views were still breathtaking and this didn’t impact our stay whatsoever.

This hotel is beautiful - everything looks new and clean. The staff were very nice and kind. The massage we had at the spa was excellent and very professional. Overall, I would recommend this hotel.

There were a couple of less positive points. We were celebrating our honeymoon, and this was the only one out of three hotels where we stayed that didn't offer any special gesture, even though I informed them in advance. They seemed to want to charge extra for anything related to the occasion. For example, in other hotels, we found a lovely decoration with a "Honeymoon" sign left on the bed in our room. Additionally, their taxi service was excessively expensive. Due to the hotel's location, if you want to go out, you are essentially forced to use their services. Just as an example, a taxi from the airport cost 1500 INR, while the hotel's taxi service quoted 4000 INR for the same trip. Despite these points, the hotel itself is lovely and the spa was a highlight.

The hotel is completely new and has lovely rooms and facilities. The beach is cosy and the views are spectacular. We really recommend visiting the two island (flat island and Gabriel island) with the hotel operator. The beaches are like paradise and the snorkelling was good. The hotel staff is amazing, especially the receptionist who helped us sort out an issue with our luggage. We booked a junior suit and the room was huge. Best to choose a room on the first floor as otherwise you have the other hotel guests walk in front of your windows.

As the hotel is brand new some facilities were not yet ready to use, such as the hammam. Otherwise flawless. The rooms could have been a little cleaner. We had some black hair in the room even though we are both blond.. our room door didn’t close properly but we didn’t mind as the hotel is very secure.

the hotel was beautiful and the infinity pool overlooked the beach. Its a very quiet hotel and peaceful (for couples in my opinion) hotel. The service is fantasitic as everyone is very attentive and on top of assisting guests needs

You have to pay for literally everything which I thought the water should def be included the hotel was a bit quite for me personally and in a secluded part of the island

The most significant feature, the 'cherry on the top of the cake' was the warm welcome and the extreme cordiality from the entire team. Not only at the reception but also from those responsible for cleaning the rooms, at the restaurant and bar as well as at the spa. We felt special!

The food, unfortunately. It was the first time I complained about it while in Mauritius. Only a very delicious prawn and chicken curry served in my last meal made me reconsider my almost negative opinion.

Fantastic boutique hotel; enormous rooms; top quality new furnishings everywhere; extremely friendly staff offering a personal service; excellent breakfasts and dinner. Very enjoyable, non-intrusive, live music during dinner three times a week. Free bikes and helmets were useful too.

Complimentary water with dinner and better value wine would be appreciated but these issues did not detract from a fabulous stay.
