Amazing pools and private beach. Some staff were exceptional, like Rohit. Evening entertainment every night. Free boat rides and snorkeling. Chef went out of their way to assist our special diet.

- they should better mark part of the beach with the stones and some sharp metal objects as I cut my knee while swimming - we arrived in the morning and there was no option for early checking even 1h-30 min before although I informed well in advance about this, room was exactly at time - they are not organizing trips so you need to book it on your own, would be easy to get some info with activities and opening hours, prices in the rooms and not only at reception

Hotel is located in beautiful place, it has two pools (including infinity pool with beautiful view) but as well beach with water activities as kayaks or paddle board. Breakfast was very good with different options every day. Personnel is super nice and helpful so in case of any questions you can reach out to them. Rooms are quite big with comfortable bed.

It has been a wonderful lovely holiday at VP&V Resort, a beautiful room in front of the sea, a special and likely food at restaurants and…. finally special staff members has followed us through this magic stay. All of the experience stopping at Paul and Virginie, was fabulous, from the room with sea view, to the facilities, to food and drink. The staff were friendly, always looking to help and had a smile on their faces. The extra activities which were part of the all inclusive package were great, and included glass bottom boat windsurfing, kayaking, paddle boarding, pedalo’s and sailing. The food was good, wide selection and available from 7am to 9.30pm.

Nothing, all was great.

Meet and greet session and orientation walk with the reception staff was brilliant, the pool with it's unobstructed views of the sea was amazing. There were also plenty of sunbeds to go around. The main restaurant although self service was very pleasant to visit and the chefs always provided food that everyone could enjoy. The Restaurant staff were great, very happy cheerful and friendly whilst the housekeeping staff kept our room spotless and well stocked. The wildlife in the garden outside our ground floor room was wonderful, colourful birds, interesting Chameleons and even a Green back Heron cooling off in the pool after a hard days fishing from the private beach

The toilet in our room was tiny with only just enough room to get in and shut the door, though the rest of the bathroom was huge. Stealing a bit of the bathroom for a bigger loo would be useful. DOGS!! the hotel and surrounding area has an obviously well established pack of half a dozen dogs which seem related and have the run of the public areas including at meal times. Whilst they were remarkably well behaved and didn't cause any problems we didn't like the idea of animals wandering around near food as to us it was unhygienic but I'm not sure what the staff can humanely do to deter them

We liked the ambiance, the a la carte restsurant, the island feel

1. The rooms need some updating and maintenance ue the soap dispenser was broken, the air-conditioner dripped water onto the bathroom floor. 2. You need hand rails at the steps in several locations, especially the dining area.

We stayed wonderful 9 nights in the hotel all inclusive package. For breakfast always ala carte omlett or fried eggs. Fresh fruits, bakery, fresh juices and etc. Good coffee and tea served personally. Dinner is one day buffet, next day ala carte of 3 courses. It is nice that dress-code exists here and some guests follow it. This gives nice atmosphere especially for women. Beach restaurant ala carte is open for lunch and pre-booked for dinner. We liked to visit beach restaurant in days of buffet menu in main restaurant. It was always special feeling, with nice view, pleasant sexy music, always good food and drinks. We liked lobster, but shrimps were absolutely fantastic. Desserts were so delicious and nice dressed. I would recommend to have all inclusive package, because there are good and nice food and drinks in the hotel. Outside of hotels it is tricky to get it easy. No restaurants, bars, cafes are nearby. Beach: enough of sun beds and umbrellas. Soft and clean sand, which is every morning cleaned. There are 2 pools. 1 pool is 90cm. One time I tried to swim there, but I was walking on knees. I did not like it for swiming. But it makes nice atmosphere to chill and sunbath around on sun beds under some palms and enjoy ocean view. Once we gone to breakfast and were feeling already relaxed. In one moment to our table at breakfast came manager of hotel to say that our safebox is open with money, jewelleries, watches and etc... Well, they can not start clean room. He asked me to continue enjoing my breakfast and they would come later to clean the room. When we returned to room we just closed the safebox, all items were untouched. So, I may say this is safe place for sure. We would like to thank all the staff. Always friendly and helpful. Good job trainee manager, manager, owner, investors! Staff is working hard. Always smiling. Well dressed in authentic uniform. All these gives very pleasant feeling, also relaxed. Great staff and customer care.

*****Ocean near the beach. The bottom is not soft. It is quite full of corals, stones and seaweeds. And it is not deep, may be a little bit over a knee till waist-deep and need to walk 200-300m minimum in the ocean. So, to swim in ocean we were forced to go outside of hotel to the public beaches. We liked Grand Baie and Perebeira beaches. 15 minutes by car. So, for sunbathing hotel beach is very nice, but for swiming unsuitable at all. *Location is over 1 hour to drive straight from airport. From other places and sightseeing it is also rather far. Nearby outside of hotel you will not find any city activity. If you need something you need to drive 15-20 minutes. Or fully relax at hotel - what is also good.

We stayed at Veranda Paul et Virginie for our honeymoon. We picked the hotel based on its excellent reviews, the fact that it's adults-only, and was an affordable price compared to many of the honeymoon resorts on the island. We went half-board (breakfast and dinner included). Where do we begin? We have had a simply fantastic stay in this beautiful hotel. It is one of the best hotels we've ever stayed at. Firstly, we need to mention the staff, who made our time here, unforgettable. From our arrival, when we met with the smiley and welcoming reception staff for check-in (Vijesh and Yajna), we have always had pleasant and enjoyable interactions with every member of staff. We had mentioned in our reservation details that I am vegetarian and my husband is pescetarian. Soon after we arrived, the staff phoned up to our room to ask us to meet with the chef so they could make sure they had dishes suitable for our requirements. We met with the very friendly Chef Kathapermall, who went through that day's menu, and assured us he would provide vegetarian options for myself and fish options for my husband throughout our stay, and he followed through on this promise. On a daily basis one of the staff members Raj and Chef Kathapermall went through the dinner menu with us to make sure we were happy with the options - and even cooked alternative dishes for us that weren't on the menu! The food was absolutely top quality every single day. We ate in the main restaurant (Isle du France) every night and this alternated between buffet and table service 4-course menu. The food was varied and delicious every night of our 7-night stay. Breakfast was lovely, standard full English and continental options with lots of local tropical fruit and pastries as well. Bar tender Maestro was very friendly, greeting us by name every day and making sure we were well taken care of.
