For a 3 star hotel it’s good

The food was very good - well cooked and a nice variety of options. We had half board, and enjoyed everything that we tried for breakfast and evening meal. The pool and surrounding area was lovely and the beach was beautiful. We really enjoyed using the stand up paddle boards, kayaks and pedaloes to explore the bay and even saw turtles :) The hotel is in a good location with an easy drive to other beaches in the north and north west.

A few of the staff were not as friendly and helpful as the others. My son and daughter had a woman come into their room in the middle of the night and we did not feel that the matter was dealt with properly.

Beautiful hotel with a super nice pool area, sustainable and eco-friendly approach (e.g. no plastic bottles), friendly staff, comfortable room with a nice balcony overlooking lush green forest, the beach right across the road from where the hotel offers free snorkeling trips (make use of them, it’s amazing!), easy access to the most beautiful beaches on the North of the island.

Music at the buffet restaurant could be less and less loud. We spent 9 nights in this hotel on half board and got a bit weary about the selection at the buffet, less French inspired food and a bit more variety would be good.

The beach was beautiful and right across the street, the rooms were clean and there was good entertainment most nights - we loved the guitar musicians. I celebrated my birthday and was treated to a cake at breakfast time. Staff overall were really friendly and hospitable. I visited spa Poz for a massage and it was incredible - highly recommend.

They started repair work on our roof the day we checked out, without notifying us prior. Workers started ripping our roof apart and messed on our belongings on our balcony/patio, which also blocked access to the ground floor via the stairs temporarily. Repairs started around 7/8am and some notice would have been nice. A bit inconvenient.

Absolutely loved the warm hospitality and peaceful atmosphere. The team was exceptionally helpful, accommodating, and friendly, and the food was truly delicious. It felt like a comforting home away from home. The bar and restaurant staff deserve a special mention for their absolutely amazing service and attitude.

We had a water leak in our room and the electricity turned off but once the team were alerted their action was swift and they relocated us to an alternate room.

Coin de Mire Attitude is a lovely resort to stay at, we definitely enjoyed our time here! While the beachfront is across the street, it doesn’t impact the experience that much. There’s a perfect balance between relaxing by the pool or enjoying the beautiful beach. Our room was spacious with a very good shower. The food was excellent both at the breakfast and dinner. We had half board and ate lunch from the food truck, which was very affordable. Coin de Mire Attitude’s commitment to eco-friendly practices was a definite plus for us!

The only downside is the resort’s proximity to the street. Cars and motorcycles can be a bit loud in the evenings, which might be an issue for light sleepers.

We really really enjoyed our holidays. Hotel is very family friendly. nice welcome, good food and nice rooms. The garden is well maintained and the pool is great. Unfortunately you could hear the street when laying at the pool. The beach view is beautiful but the beach itself is so so. It’s not cleaned for swimming from seaweed etc. We would take a Lokal bus and drive to nearby beaches instead. Also there’s only this much time one can spend at the beach cause of the sun. Hotel taxis are much more expensive than Lokal ones. Staff members are friendly and helpful. They make an effort to make you feel welcome. We had half board as we’re not alcohol drinkers and lunches at the beach are tasty and cheap. Food at the hotel was tasty and well prepared. With HB option our soft drinks were not covered at dinner. I’d suggest at least water should be free to refill at the restaurant like it is at breakfast. We traveled with a 2,5 year old and he really enjoyed.

The noise of the street and that to reach the beach one needs to cross the road. It was known to me before I booked but somehow bothered me once there.

Beautiful hotel with great vibe. We liked the pools, table tennis, tennis court, jeux de boules and fitness area. There were always sunbeds available at the pool and at the beach. The beach activities are a nice extra (snorkeling, glass bottum boat, kayak). Buffet breakfast and dinner were amazing. Lots of variety, great taste. Great plus is their water management, no plastic bottels and everywhere free water dispensers.

The property is very beautiful, located at a very nice place. Has own private beach with complimentary water sports, although nothing worth visiting nearby in walking distance. Beautiful birds nest in the property. Staff was polite.

The bathrooms didn't have locks which hampered privacy in a family stay. Staff doesn't notify before cleaning the room, which may cause discomfort to some travelers.

I chose this hotel because it's deep in the green, right opposite the beach, kids-friendly and eco-committed. Beautiful pool surrounded by palm trees, shallow on one side for kids and deeper on the other side. I loved the bar with swings and the restaurant by the second pool. Our room was spacious, clean and nicely decorated. I loved the food, so much choice every day. Everything was locally grown and sourced, fresh and delicious, from breakfast to dinner. I also really appreciated the free fountains to fill in your own water bottle, so that we could help to fight single-use plastic. Included in the price there are beach towels and umbrellas, kayak, paddle boat, and a glass-bottomed boat tour. A special mention to the staff, all of them! From the receptionists to the cleaners to the waiters, to the chefs, to the guards. Everyone is so SO nice, welcoming, and caring. Mauritian people are lovely!

The beach is not one of the best on the island, but it's conveniently located right across the road and if you have a car (I highly suggest hiring one) you can go explore.
