A spacious room (Superior Double) with good AirCon, fan and pretty garden setting. The site is well maintained with usual plants, trees and foliage which attract a variety of birds. In addition to the common lizards and frogs we also had an Asian House Shrew wander across the grass outside the terrace. The restaurant is spacious, airy with breakfast being basic but acceptable. The "egg station" offers on-demand omelettes or fried eggs. The bar's "Happy (90mins) Hour" offers 2-for-1 on selected cocktails (and other drinks) which were well made by the cheery bartenders. The pool is lovely and well maintained. Car park is sufficient unless it's a holiday weekend when it will be overflowing (as it was when we stayed) but we still managed to find space. The site is gated and has a guard there 24/7 which is reassuring. Located about 5-6 minutes walk away from the beach past Winners supermarket (2mins) is a real plus. All in all, a very good hotel & one I'll use again when I'm in Pèreybére.

Afraid the "Superior Room" description is misleading. When I asked about the in-room tea & coffee I was told "you have a kettle". And the "minibar"? "You have a fridge". Only when I showed that a kettle and a fridge are also in the list of room facilities the receptionist understood my point. Rooms are somewhat tired and could do with an update soon. The breakfast "egg station" could be improved if it also offered boiled and poached eggs.

The restaurant food was very nice and it was more cost effective for us to dine at the hotel rather than to dine at other restaurants. The location was perfect for us, we made use of the local bus transportation, the bus stop was just around the corner, and we were close to the supermark where everything was reasonably priced. We will definitely go back to Casa Cara Florida, and highly recommend it.

It could get a bit crowded over the weekend or public holidays. But we didn't really spend time at the hotel, we were out most of the time. If I spend more time at the hotel, I guess it would have bothered me.

Close to the beach, and Pereybere is super nice. All amenities close-by. The room gets cleaned very well every day. The breakfast is fine too - they have an egg and pancake station. The staff is super friendly, especially.for children very ideal place. The pool is great for them. You can play tennis and table tennis. Also the rooms are big!

There was a construction going on which made it a bit dusty and loud at some times. Some things could be maintained a bit better like the playground for the children and the table pool for example

Nice pool. Very clean, We asked to swap a room if it was possible, staff was very helpful in making that possible. Very well positioned, close to the supermarket, beach and restaurants area. (a few minutes walk).

Food didnt change much for breakfast, no fresh vegetables (but i guess this might be a local thing). We also stayed at another, more expensive, resort for another week and also there were no fresh salads or vegetables available.

Location is excellent. Supermarket and bus stops are very nearby. Beach is walkable distance too. We wanted to have a kitchen, a few options provide that. There is a restaurant at the hotel which was lovely during weekend. Pleasant atmosphere inside.

Kitchen utilities could have been better such as a rice cooker etc. you might have inform upfront of you need the. Bathroom water doesn't drain off quickly and cupboards needs some care.

Our stay in Casa Florida was absolutely wonderful!! All the personnel was really really kind and helpful 😊! A huge thank you to Kantee for her help all along our stay in Mauritius; she made our holidays on the island so memorable 🙂!! Go to Casa Florida, you won’t regret it at all!! Kantee was the best host ever!! She went out of her way every day to meet and greet everyone and ask if you are happy. She gave us information to rent a car and always had good ideas of places to visit and things to do. Uncle Elvis at the bar was an exceptional barman, always friendly and helpful. We had the most greatest experience and would definitely go back there if possible. Al the staff was always friendly, the room was cleaned every day and our towels were changed every day. We were able to wash our clothes at the hotel as well. The food at the hotel was fresh every day, and we had no complaints whatsoever. Would recommend the hotel for anyone. We made new friends and memories to last a lifetime! Thank you Kantee, Uncle Elvis and everybody that made our honeymoon the best ever!!

Nice hotel resort with friendly and helpful staff, when asked they gave us good travelling advices. The best thing about this hotel is the location - very close to the beach - just a few minutes by walk from Pereybere beach or beach which is on the right from Pointe d'Azur (go there, it's the better beach!:)). The city centre with big food market and a lot of restaurants is very close - just go to the left on the main road. Breakfasts rich - lot of bread, fruit, pancakes, eggs, ...

In the night there was a lot of noise - perhaps the air condition machines from outside or other rooms? we had to sleep with ear plugs.

The hospitality was impeccable. The staff were incredibly friendly especially many of the greeters for breakfast and mealtime, the wonderful Platima (and the other cleaners) and the manager herself Kantee who made sure that her and her team went out of their way to make you feel welcome and well taken care of. The room was very clean and the food was very good, especially for the cheap cost. The location was perfect - right by Pereybere beach which soon became one of my favourite beaches in Mauritius. The hotel also had a service to set up a transfer to the airport and coordinate excursions to see different parts of the island, and participate in water sports and other activities.

There was nothing specific- for me the only thing was that the gym is quite outdated and some of the equipment was a bit rusty so I was cautious using it. But this is barely a problem for 95% of people as they do not go on holiday to workout - I'm just a bit of a gym nut.

Breakfast was varied and always fresh. Self-catering apartment suited all our needs. Pool area was world class, always clean and excellently maintained. Staff were exceptionally friendly. Kantee was a superb hostess, attended to everything we might have needed. Close to Pereybere beach. We will return again. Another great holiday. Thanks Casa Florida. Jerry & Marinda White.
