We had a large appartment on the second floor, we liked the location and the view out of the window to the public beach (just across the street, not too many cars). It was very central to a bus station and also to the taxi stand. A supermarket and some restaurants are nearby. We had a two-hour walk to Cap Malheureux - could be in one hour, but we enjoyed the walk on the waterfront around the most-northern tip of Mauritius. We had a nice time.

It was a self catering apartment so we did our own breakfast. Ate out in restaurants most evenings but had takeaways now and again. At least some restaurants and bars in Pereybere and Grand Bay accepted AMEX and other cards. Property was right opposite Pereybere public beach and next door to a restaurant. The supermarket WINNERS was about a 5 minute walk away and we used it almost every day. It was very convenient for buses (stop opposite/nearby) in both directions and a taxi stand was just 2 minutes away.

Cleaner turned up at different times most days and didn't always do a good job - did not mention this as we did not want her to lose her job Second cleaner (for the last few days) was slightly better.

The proximity to the beach but also the availability and helpfulness of the staff. The lady was very nice

Second time staying here, fabulous location, spacious apartments, not luxurious but very comfortable and with a great shower. Small kitchen but enough to prepare meals. Very kind and accommodating hosts, if you need something, just ask. We hope to be back again and would absolutely recommend.

Location, location, location and super nice owner. The apartment was simply furnished but very spacious. Comfy bed and excellent water pressure and literally across the road from the beach. We’ve already booked to return

Not that it was an issue but a washing machine would have been nice (even a machine that’s shared)

Apartment very close to the beach.

Location was very good, just across the road from the Public beach. Bus stops were close by, to travel in either direction and taxi stand 2 minutes away. There were a few reasonable restaurants nearby - unfortunately some were cash only Apartment (triple studio) gave us all the space we wanted and more. Large lounge with double bed and a separate bedroom too. Kitchenette was well stocked with crockery, glasses, cutlery, pots, pans and included a gas (double ring) cooker, microwave, kettle plus a big fridge/freezer. Bathroom was very clean and water pressure was great from the double shower head unit - hot water just right ... Lots of cupboard / storage space too. Room was cleaned every day except Sundays. Sheets/bedding and towels were changed when requested. Both host and hostess were very GOOD ...

Could not find fault with anything. It was the complete opposite of BALEAU studios which we walked out / left after 2 nights even though we booked and paid for 19 nights

The location. The cleaning service. The space. The friendly host.

The property was directly across the street from the beach.

The gate to the property was closed around 9pm and it was awkward to open. However, it was secured and made you feel safe knowing it was there.

The owner was very friendly and helpful. Made our stay very nice. Also the beach was right in front of us. What a bonus.

Maybe needs to update a bit with the shower and toilet.
