Absolutely everything. Joanna and all of the staff were so welcoming. Nothing was too much trouble. The studios , gardens and pool were beautiful. Really comfy bed and very clean with towels and bedding changed regularly and the studio cleaned daily. Joanna let us know when the public holidays were incase the shops closed early and kept us informed about the cyclone that was on its way. Will definitely be back. A fabulous place. We had the best time 😊😊

Small, friendly boutique guesthouse, spotlessly clean, lovely pool and balcony with view over the tropical gardens. Perfect location within walking distance of all local amenities including the beach, supermarket and restaurants/ cafes . Highly recommend Bloom for breakfast or lunch, Chill and Grill and Gloria’s for take away street food Super comfy super king size bed , plenty of storage space and great kitchenette with small hob, microwave, fridge freezer and even a filter coffee maker, kettle and toaster. They even had an umbrella in the room just in case of a tropical shower. Plenty of sun loungers, no need to get up early to reserve them. Joanna, the manager, is fabulous and always on hand whether in person or by what’s app. She arranged a hire car for use and can also arrange excursions. The housekeeping staff are amazing and will do laundry a big bag of laundry cost the equivalent of £5.50 including ironing. It truely is a five star property without the hefty price tag.

Great little and quiet place hidden in the side street so away from main road traffic but all within 10 min walk - restaurants, beach, supermarkets etc. We stayed in the villa - kitchen was very well equipped with everything you need. The place was spotless with daily cleaning. The bedrooms were spacious, each with private bathroom. Towels, linen provided. Providing some basic food in the fridge on the arrival was a nice touch and helped to avoid the hassle of doing shopping straight after arrival. There is a good wifi available in the villa and by the pool. The owner, Joanne was very easy to reach through whatsapp and very responsive even before our arrival to Mauritius.

This was one of the coolest places we stayed at during our trip to Mauritius! The host was incredibly polite, well-organized, and even arranged excursions and a taxi driver for us. I absolutely loved this place, and the swimming pool was just amazing! Our room was clean and tidy, and our apartment had a fully equipped kitchen, which we happily used to prepare breakfasts. It had everything we needed for cooking and boiling water. I totally recommend this place to anyone visiting Mauritius. Joanna, you're the best! 😉

Beautiful, clean and well maintained accommodation. Quite and peaceful. Fully equipped kitchen (starter set with eggs butter etc. provided) and baguette service. Honesty bar for water and beer. Super friendly and helpfull staff. Nice and clean pools and pool area. Nice barbecue place available. Very well located near to the beach (5 minutes by foot) with a lot of restaurants across the street. Nice (breakfast) Restaurant (Bloom) only 4 minutes by foot. Great place to enjoy Mauritius. Highly recommended.

Our studio was great. Lovely little kitchen to easily prepare breakfast and a lunch snack to take out. Beds were very comfortable with plenty of storage. Balcony was a really good size too. Shower room was lovely and clean. The housekeeping was very thorough and the whole grounds were looked after vertically well. Joanna, the manager, was very helpful and always available on WhatsApp

We stayed 8 nights at Blue Bird, in the family bungalow, and it was exactly what we were looking for. Little oasis, very quiet as it is only shared by a few families. It's a 5 min walk to Pereybere beach and 8 min to the closest supermarket. We rented a car and explored several other beaches in the area, and also did a few day trips (Port Louis, Ile aux Cerfs, Flic en Flac, Chamarel). Joanna is always available and in the property every morning. Cleaning happens every day except Sundays and public holidays. Bread provided in the morning upon request. Fridge with some basic supplies for a first meal was a nice touch. Also, Joanna allowed us an early check-in and late check-out which was highly appreciated. The family bungalow is very comfortable, it has 2 double beds and one single, ideal for our family of 5. A/C available in the 3 rooms. There are also 2 toilets and a kitchen, as well as an exclusive meal area by the pool.

Didn't real impact our experience, but the kitchen could have some minor maintenance (drawers difficult to open). Overall the house is very modern and well equiped, with a beautiful decoration.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay in this charming and family friendly accommodation. The place was very clean and well equipped, with a lovely green terrace. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful! As a nice welcome, the fridge was already stocked with some breakfast items, which was a thoughtful and much appreciated gesture. It's well located, with nice restaurants and a small public beach within walking distance. We look forward to returning for another stay!

We absolutely loved our stay at the Blue Bird. It felt like the perfect hidden little spot yet walking distance to Pereybere beach, a modern cafe, a rooftop bar, supermarket, and bus stop. We loved watching the beautiful birds on the balcony at breakfast. The staff are very warm and friendly and they do a great job making you feel very welcome and keeping the rooms and grounds cared for every day.We really hope to stay again!

We felt it wasn’t very private. There were two dogs that roam around during the daytime, they are pretty much harmless but do foul in the back garden. Most of us felt uncomfortable with them around.
