Really clean and well-maintained. Basic kitchen just what somebody like me looking for a self-catering place would want. Just a two minute walk to the beach. Friendly staff!

I really can’t complain. It was exactly what was advertised.

I ended up coming to Péreybère on my own, and this apartment would work very well for either one or two people. It's spacious, clean, comfortable, and has everything that you could need. The housekeeper was friendly and helpful, but I enjoyed complete privacy. There is a short drive/walk to the building off the main road, making for a peaceful place to stay that is still just steps from the beach, restaurants, bars, stores, and stops for buses going to Grand-Baie, Port-Louis, and Cap Malheureux. Winner's grocery store is only a 10-minute walk away. Péreybère beach is cute and lively, and it is an easy walk to Pointe d'Azur. I often had the beach there to myself and could walk along it all the way to Bain Boeuf. A truly gorgeous part of the world.

La Perla lies very central in La Gaulette but it’s quiet and nice. In the morning you wake up with singing birds. There is a supermarket nearby and a small beach. Also an ATM around the corner. If you want to rent a car I can recommend Ara Tours, who are nearby as well. The apartment had everything I needed. I cooked a couple of times and there is a rack if you need to do Laundry. Donna is very friendly and responds quick. Cleaning ladies also lovely.

Some of the apartment balconies are connected and that means you have to cross someone else’s balcony to get to the stairs. Can be awkward, although I personally didn’t mind and the person next to me didn’t seem to care either.

Donna as a host was great, organised transfers for us and was always contactable. The apartment was nice (penthouse) and had everything we needed. Daveenah cleaned the apartment every 2-3 days and was very helpful too. The complex is down a driveway from the main Pereybere road so it does not have sea views but it is very quiet (which I think is more important). This is ultimately a self-catered apartment so access to a supermarket is an imperative; Winners is a short walk away and has everything you need. There are stalls like Chez Vanessa on the beach (opposite the complex entrance) serving mine and riz frite at a good price and plenty of other places to eat a walk away such as D'ernys, Mam Gouz, IJ's Grill, SANA and fast food available from Mississippi Fried Chicken. For amazing cakes try Oh My Cake! which is next to the apartments. In summary, if you are looking for somewhere a bit quieter than Grand Baie and want to have a base for excursions, somewhere to make breakfast/lunch, options to eat out but with clean towels, bedding etc. provided, La Perla is perfect. We'll be coming back.

Nothing really, it met our needs

I spent 4 nights in this accommodation and was really happy with it. As I travelled alone it was perfect from the size but it could also easily fit for a couple or friends. The bed was very comfortable, the aircon was working well and everything was clean and tidy. The people were very friendly and could help you if you had any questions. The bathroom is actually very spacious, modern and nice. You can walk from the apartment to the supermarket, to the restaurants or to the beach in a few minutes. When I drove there with Maps I found out that it's best to take the mainroad next to the beach and then drive to the guesthouse from that road :) Would recommend and stay here again.

Great location near the beach, restaurants and bus stop. Simple, minimal fuss and excellent value for money. Very quiet, clean, all the facilities you can need for a self catered vacation. Donna was away during my stay but super communicative.

Really great property - liked everything. Staff were friendly and accommodating. It was very quiet and secure. Very clean, kitchen had everything we needed. Outdoor hose meant sand could stay outside.

Great location close to the beach! Nice little and modern flat with all the basics. We had private parking all the time which was a plus.

If you're in one of the flats above, be ready to carry the luggage up the stairs as there's not lift. It'd be nice to have washing machine. Although they offer to wash your clothes for a price.

Had a lovely stay at La Perla Holiday Apartments! The location is perfect—just a short walk to the beach and close to restaurants and shops. The apartment was clean, well-equipped, and comfortable. Ideal for a relaxed seaside break. Would definitely stay again!

Nice and tidy appartment on a very good location. The garden is beautiful, and has a relaxing atmosphere. The appartment had small kitchen with stove, microwave, coffee machine, refrigerator, which is all necessary for a vacation appartment. The staff was very hospitable and friendly

Beds are regular size, it might be an issue for a bigger person. There were ants in the appartment, not that the appartment is not regularly cleaned or maintained, i think it's just because of the nature. Wasn't an issue for us, might be for some, just a recommendation that food canot be left anywhere outside the fridge
