Excellent location, literally right across from a fantastic public beach in the Grand Bay area (about 1km north of Grand Bay main beach and a few km south of the superb Cap Malheureaux area). We stayed over the new year and it was a carnival atmosphere for more than a week and very popular with both local and tourists. There are numerous restaurants within a few metres on either side of the hotel as well as spas, car hire, etc. You're on the main bus stop and numerous taxis are available at the hotel doorstep. There are also a few huge ultra-modern malls with a few km. Don't let the exterior appearance of the hotel influence you: Whilst it doesn't look premium from the outside, inside it is modern, airy, clean and well-run. The hotel provides (free) private off-street parking for your hire vehicle. The staff, from the reception managers, travel concierge, restaurant staff and cleaning staff, were amazing. The rooms are comfortable, spacious, and well-appointed. We were lucky to get a sea-facing room with a small balcony on the 2nd floor. The rooftop has a spa, gym, pool and jacuzzi. Breakfast was extensive and well-presented, with the staff ever willing to assist. There is also a dinner restaurant and bar on-site should you wish to stay in. In summary, if you are not looking to stay in a large all-inclusive resort, want to be next to a fantastic beach, with lots of amenities within a few minutes walk, and looking to get a taste of local flavours, whilst staying in very decent accommodation, this hotel is well worth it.

This isn't a criticism of the hotel, but travelling from the airport in the south-east of the island to the north-west Grand Baie area takes approx an hour on very good freeways.

The hotel exudes beauty and tranquility, providing an excellent experience overall. Fraad extended a warm welcome, assisting us during check-in, and throughout our stay, Pravin also proved to be friendly and helpful. The breakfast service, particularly the lady in charge of pressing fresh juice, stood out for her kindness and friendliness.

The shower had an issue with proper sealing, causing water to seep through the door. To contain the water and avoid creating a mess, we had to resort to using the hotel's towels. Unfortunately, it gave a sense of untidiness and inconvenience for the cleaning staff to be picking up wet towels daily.

Amazing location,just oposite Pereybere public beach the best beach around.Near restaurants,supermarket and beach bar. Very friendly staff,perfect breakfast with fresh juice!Reception alowed us late check out for free.Roof swimming pool and jacuzzi,sauna,hammam is for free and there is possibility to make diffrent type of massage for very good prices.Everything made our 12days in this paradise special.Thank you to everybody one more time!

The hotel is very clean, close to Pereybere beach, with nice pool on the rooftop and sunbeds for relaxing. There is also a small Spa with the possibility to book massages, I tried one and it was amazing! Very well done and super relaxing time, also excellent value for money, I reccomend to book some time at the Spa it is worth it.

There are not many common areas in the hotel, there is a quite busy street in front of the hotel, between it and beach.

We had a wonderful stay at Pereybere Hotel & Spa. Our check-in was smooth, even though we came 1h earlier. After a welcome drink, Prav showed us around the hotel facilities and answered all our questions we had about the hotel, beaches and the area in general. The rooms were clean and the AC worked very well. In the suite we had a kitchen, which had all the equipment we needed. There is a supermarket and some restaurants in walking distance. The breakfast was great - we loved the fresh tropical fruits, pancakes and omelettes! Maybe there could be a bit more variety since it was the same for the 4 days we stayed there, but everything tasted good and was fresh. What we appreciated a lot was that they had a water dispenser at the reception where we could fill up our water bottles. So we didn’t need to buy tons of plastic bottles of water. The pool area is very relaxing with comfortable sunbeds. Even though there is a busy street in front of the hotel, is was very quiet everywhere. Especially in the rooms you could not tell at all since they face the other way. There is one nice beach right across the street. If you want to go to other beaches nearby you can easily take the bus (bus stop only a few meters away) or a taxi. Transport is very easy and convenient since the hotel has a great location. Also, there is a small travel agency integrated in the hotel, where we booked a package of three day trips, which was so worth it!

The breakfast was really good. Special mention to the fresh fruit juice and the lady making them, who was very nice. The room was big and the internet was very good.

The pictures from the hotel were a little bit misleading, they used the best light and angles, so although the hotel was really nice and comfortable, and we enjoyed our stay, we were a bit disappointed when we arrived there.

Very kind staff and very nice hotel. Close to beach restaurants market etc. They also have parking place just 200 meters away from hotel. They provide beach towels every day.

i loved the proximity to the beach - literally across the road! the layout of the hotel is really cool and aesthetic. i loved the pool and upstairs loungers, it has a lovely view and is very comfortable. the rooms are spacious and clean, they have a very lovely decor, i especially loved the bathroom. in regards to the staff - i couldn’t fault them. from the minute we arrived, they were so friendly, so helpful and so attentive. they upgraded our room as a special treat for my partner’s birthday which was so kind, they helped out with setting up balloons and decorations for his birthday also, which was absolutely stunning. the lovely lady downstairs was so helpful when it came to us booking excursions. the catering staff at breakfast were so fun and friendly, honestly we truly had the best time and would 100000% return!

i wouldn’t even say that these are dislikes, they’re more just points to be aware of: - the parking sign is a little out of place which did confuse us (it’s further up the road on immediate right hand side) but once we found it, there were no problems - our door handle was broken for a while which meant it was tricky to lock the door, but again once the staff were notified, they came immediately to fix it, so again these aren’t things i disliked as any issues we had were quickly resolved

The hotel is located in front of the beach with a taxi stand nearby. The staff were friendly and helpful, there were very nice ladies serving breakfast. The breakfast was wonderful - abundant and versatile. In the evening the breakfast room was open as a restaurant for everyone, not only for the hotel residents. They offered interesting and delicious dishes. Cleaning was done every day, including Sunday and festive days. Upon my request, a shower cap and iron were provided.

Some paper towels/napkins in the room would be very much appreciated, as well as house slippers. The hairdryer was not very powerful. Pets included - there were tiny ants in the room :)

Stuff were so nice and friendly, they upgraded us to suit room that has a fully renewed bathroom included bathtub. it has even fully equipped kitchen. Location is also very convenient, just 1 min to the beach and 2 minutes to very big supermarket as well as few restaurants around. I can say the most surprising thing was breakfast, definitely exceptional!

Like all but sometimes people in the bar at ground floor make noice that you can easily disturbed in your room
