Excellent hotel especially for families. We spent a week here and we didnt leave the hotel to tour Mauritius but we were never bored so no regrets. Staff are all great, friendly & welcoming. Plenty of options at breakfast and dinner. The themed restaurants are also great. The food hut on the beach (Tabaj) also offers lunch time options and tea and pancakes from 3:30pm (if you arent on all inclusive you have to pay for tea). The beach was okay. The water wasn't as clear as I expected. It’s a bit muddy in places but it wasn’t terrible. If you plan on training for a triathlon the ocean isnt for you; quite shallow which we found to be perfect with our 2 little ones. Water activities offered at the resort free of charge; paddle boats, glass bottom boat, snorkeling. BBQ at Gran Zil is a must!

Location, cleanliness, service entertainment. The staff all round topnotch. A special shout out to the team at KotNou their signature Mauratian restaurant. Mohun Kuipy Noorina and Chef Faresh made our last night truly memorable. A not to be missed restaurant . Big John, a local our co-ordinator was also very helpful with information. We did book a jet boat trip with him but did not work out due to weather conditions.

Having to walk upto to reception to get our own water as well as tea coffee daily. A basic necessity for any room which any hotel/ resort should provide as part of basic housekeeping service

The hotel is absolutely unique, it offers a very authentic room and facilities in general, I like the way they support sustainable lifestyle (by excluding any one time use products in general). Animation team was so friendly and helpful, the aqua gym was so much fun and the bike tour was absolutely amazing! Guys are putting so much effort in their job! I was very happy with the service of the guest relation team (next to the restaurants, girls who were helping to arrange the bookings), most of the time I was dealing with Elvina and she was so lovely and friendly all the time! I really like that all inclusive package is offering a big variety of a-la- cartel restaurants and all of them are unique in their own way, all offer different and tasty cuisines Despite it’s a family oriented hotel, I think it’s a great place also for couples and adults only!

There were some minor misunderstandings (could occur absolutely everywhere), but they were all immediately fixed by public relations. I was very impressed by the job of receptionists and public relations team!

The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming, ensuring that every guest feels at home. The daily housekeeping kept everything spotless, and the food and drinks were excellent. A special mention goes to the Indian restaurant—an exceptional dining experience that should not be missed. We also loved the complimentary snorkeling trip and kayaking—during the snorkeling excursion, we were lucky enough to spot a sea turtle! The pool offers breathtaking views, making it the perfect spot to relax & if you have a late flight as we did you can still use the facilities they offer and you can also book a shower room before you leave free of charge. A standout part of our experience was Lesley, the best waiter ever! He made sure our glasses were always full while we were on the beach and brought such a warm and sociable energy to everyone around. If you visit, make sure you get served by Lesley on the beach—you won’t regret it! Lesley, if you see this, thank you for making our vacation in Mauritius unforgettable!

While the beach looks beautiful, the water has some muddy areas, which can be a bit unpleasant. Also, while the rooms are very clean, they could use some renovations as they feel a bit outdated.

I had the most wonderful time staying at Zilwa Attitude in Mauritius with my 7-year-old daughter. From the very first moment, we felt warmly welcomed and completely at ease. Everywhere we went, the staff were incredibly polite, attentive, and always ready to help with a smile. As a solo mom traveling with a young child, I especially appreciated how safe and comfortable we felt throughout our stay. The hotel itself is beautifully located right on stunning beaches, with breathtaking views over the turquoise lagoon and nearby islands. Everything was spotlessly clean, and the spaces had a lovely, authentic Mauritian atmosphere that made our holiday feel extra special. The food was a true highlight of our trip. We loved exploring all the different dining options, but our absolute favorites were Kot Nou, offering delicious traditional Mauritian cuisine, and Manao, where we enjoyed incredible Thai dishes. Each meal was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. One of the best experiences was having lunch right by the beach at Taba-J, the charming little spot serving tasty snacks and local street food in a relaxed atmosphere with your toes in the sand. Every meal felt like a treat. Evenings were magical – sitting by the ocean, sipping great cocktails, and watching the sunset while my daughter played safely nearby. The combination of the scenery, the food, and the warm hospitality made this holiday truly unforgettable. Zilwa Attitude is a place I would wholeheartedly recommend to anyone looking for a safe, relaxing, and genuinely memorable stay. We can’t wait to come back!

We had a fabulous stay at Zilwa! What a gorgeous resort! The entire staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, from the warm welcome we received at check in to the wait staff at each of the restaurants. Even the instructor for our morning aqua gym class was great - very enthusiastic! The food at each of the restaurants was excellent; we especially enjoyed the Thai restaurant, Manao, and had a delicious Indian meal at Tadka. We also had fun at the island for the BBQ lunch. The grounds are beautiful and our view from our ocean front room was stunning. We saw several lovely sunsets during our stay too. I celebrated my birthday while I was at Zilwa and the staff made my day very special by decorating our bed and offering dessert with my birthday dinner. The evening entertainment was terrific. I loved the dancers! Zilwa also has many fun activities and we were able to go out kayaking and snorkeling. Although I also wanted to go scuba diving I did not have the opportunity during this stay. I highly recommend Zilwa Attitude and hope to return to this beautiful resort one day.

The food was exceptional with plenty to choose from. The staff were friendly and very helpful. During a cyclone they delivered our meals to the room, all in recycled containers.

The hairdryer wasn’t very powerful and had an extremely short lead.

This place is absolutely stunning and perfect for families. It has everything you could ever need, with so many activities for all ages. One of the best things about it is the staff—they’re absolutely brilliant. They’re so full of energy and genuinely create the vibe of the place. You don’t feel like they’re working; it’s like they’re just having fun, and that energy is so infectious. The aqua sports team is amazing, and the kids’ club is fantastic. You can drop your kids off for the day, and they’ll love every minute of it. It’s the perfect setup for families, and you can really relax knowing the kids are having such a great time. The food is delicious, with so much choice.. The spa is incredible, and everything about the hotel is so well thought out. We loved every moment and couldn’t fault a single thing. It’s an absolute 10/10—if I could give it more, I would!

If I had to mention one small downside, it’s that the variety can feel a bit overwhelming, but I imagine that’s a huge bonus for others

for a resort it felt very spacious- you could choose to be as involved or not involved as you liked. the different restaurants all served excellent food the island they own opposite where you can go for lunch is fantastic.

the bed was incredibly hard and was uncomfortable to sleep in. some of the staff were rude and really grumpy- it didn’t fit with the fabulousness of the hotel. restaurants were very booked- we could only eat early every night and couldn’t get into one of the restaurants- advance notice to book should be given to guests!

Everything about Zilwa is great and we always have a great time there. The food is amazing and so much to choose from. But what makes Zilwa absolutely stand out is their staff. They're engaging, natural and very friendly. Particularly to mention Lucky and Nathan in the buffet, the barman by the beach- absolutely fantastic who made sure he was stocked up with my favourite Takamaka white wine and Catamaran crew - Johnson and David!!). It was my second time at Zilwa and I will definitely be back next year!
