It was nice to have a continental breakfast (cereal, pastry, cut up fruits) and coffee and tea. There is a chef from Fossi Kitchen, in the mornings on some days that he does a hot breakfast that you can pay for. The view from the deck and pool is amazing, you can see the waves come in at Costa Azul. Very peaceful up high on the hill. There was hot water from the showers and AC in the room. A fridge to keep your perishables and a coffee maker. There are daily cleaning/housekeeping services, Ivan was very helpful in getting me a new set of sheets as I felt the sheets were not clean. He made the bed and cleaned up the suite very nicely. The staff was also very warm and accommodating. Thanks Fernando!

There are limited parking spots at the hotel. I can see if the hotel is at their maximum occupancy, parking can be a problem. Also, if you have mobility problems and have difficulty with stairs, you will need to do 20+ steps to get to the hotel office/entry. Something to consider.

The views of the sea were gorgeous from our room's patio. There was a large deck around the pool where we met other travelers, including some that actually live there in the winter in their junior suites. There was an outdoor kitchen area that the long term renters used to prepare meals and where breakfast was served. Breakfast was pretty basic. Fruit, cake and a couple boxes of cereal, coffee , milk and juice. There were a few green and herbal tea options, but like most places we've stayed, if you want to start your day with black tea, make sure to bring your own. Our room was very basic but clean with a comfortable bed.

Rooms could have benefitted from a little refreshed paint (minor issue). Guests should be aware that the hotel is at the top of a pretty tall hill, so not a walkable neighborhood. You can walk down to the beach and beachside restaurants and then take a very inexpensive Uber back.

The host, facilities and even the little extra like a chef to cook us breakfast(with an additional but extremely affordable price). There is an excellent view, clean place.

The pool could have been a bit warmer for guests to swim in. For us it wasn't a problem but if you don't come by car, the walk up to the hotel could be a little pain, and even unaccesible for older guests

the property was up on a hillside and had a Greek island vibe. we only ate the free breakfast of fruit and pastry. The fruit was excellent all you can eat. There's stairs and a little bit of a steep climb so keep that in mind. It was fine for us.

the pool wasn't heated so in cooler months is probably doesn't get used much. We were there in Jan so too cold

The place was very clean and well taken care of. Staff was also readily available to greet and for any small needs we had. The location is closer to San Jose than Cabo Lucas so it was away from the crazy bars scene. We went off season so had the entire pool to ourselves when we went in.

It is about a 10min walk to get to the road. And all the local restaurants are in the downtown San Jose area. So although it is nicely secluded, a uber ride was almost always necessary.

First, the staff was very pleasant, helpful and polite. The grounds were well maintained and quiet. Places to read and relax outside. The pool is a nice touch. The views are fantastic! Rooms are clean, bright and comfortable beds. Secure location. Parking is available. The breakfast was nice, I really enjoyed the fresh fruit. Just enough to get you going and enjoy the great beaches. Close to Palmilla, great swimming beach. Located above some great surf spots, Zippers, Old Man's, The Rock and Acapulquito. Aquatic rentals at close by surf shops. Located in-between Cabo San Lucas and San Jose del Cabo, with restaurants nearby. Last note was the privilege meeting Maria. Very nice and friendly person. Enjoyed my conversation with her. Looking forward to the next vist.

For myself there wasn't anything I didn't like. If there was I sincerely wouldn't hesitate to say.

This apart/hotel is away from the hustle and bustle of both San Jose and Cabo San Lucas. The staff were exceptional. The views and pool were top-notch.

Must drive/Uber to restaurants and beach. However, one can walk down the dusty hill to Playa Costa Azul.

Pretty property with great attention to the plants! Bogenenvelia rooftops were impressive! Staff was very attentive to our room refreshment. On site chef friendly with reasonable priced breakfast extras. Great view for whale watching and just in general. Comfy bed - could have used a thin topper as i could feel the coils but i am too sensitive lol. Great proximity to both beach and getting to town. Away from the main hotel strip which is a bonus for me. Beach at bottom of hill is awesome.

Shared patio was a little awkward but it looks like i just landed that room, most had their own patios. no hand soap, not a big deal but make sure you bring that with you, and bring a travel bidet since you cant flush tp. Hot water also runs out fast if you max out the pressure so us least water pressure you can for longer hot water.

Location was wonderful. Appreciated use of outdoor kitchen.

Only small complaint would be the beds are really hard.

Gorgeous views. Clean rooms. King bed. Easy check in. Shared kitchen. Pool.

It’s a bit out of the way and you need to drive or Uber to any shops or restaurants.
