The staff are kind, helpful and considerate, the rooms are clean and comfortable and the location is close to everything. The pool is small but nice. Food at the attached restaurant was really quite good and the margaritas excellent.

While the TV had many options I was unable to change the language to English. Even the subtitles were in Spanish. Not horrible but a bit annoying. There is coffee in the lobby but a coffee maker in the room would be nice.

Everything was perfect! Everything was clean, the staff was friendly, and it was an excellent overall experience!

The only improvement I could think of is for there to be a microwave and a mini fridge in every room. I had to pay a little bit more to get a room with a small refrigerator. It would have been nice to be able to have a microphone also, but excellent excellent excellent!

They staff was very friendly. And the restaurant was so helpful when I needed my food make like soup. The guys at the seat was very nice and fully helpful

I didn’t not like that the buckets of dirty water and mops were left all aroung the hall ways and the smell of the cleaning stuff was so strong seeing the dirty bucket left everywhere and then seeing it got used again in a new room the next day was very dirty to me. Also I was very disappointed that the pool didn’t get finished with chemicals so we could use it. The water looked so unhealthy!!!!

I enjoyed everything from the rides to the border when you need to get there quickly down to how they put the fancy little stickers on the toilet paper . Just shows you the pride taken by the owners here which trickles all the way down through the staff. It sounds as if I'm getting paid to review this place I get it but I'm not I truly LOVE this place and the PEOPLE that work there . I engoy the stories from all walks of life you hear from people all across the states and Canada mostly. So if you are a people person this is the place to be . And if you are more of a loner that's cool too - everyone respects each other's privacy . I always make sure I have plenty of ample privacy space time need when I travel to sit w self. This place is a gem that not enough people know about YET! So it's my duty to properly give props when props are due. When you come visit for whatever it is you need and are thinking about staying in Los Alagonnes stay in the California and I'm sure like me and many you'll be back....Soon you too will be introducing this gem to your network. These are the kindest, friendliest and always welcoming people who appreciate you stepping outside your comfort zone . It will seem foreign at first bc it's a different type of care here . They really care about you and they let you know it here that's for sure !

The only thing I didn't like was just like the last time. And that it is the realization that I've got to go back to the realbnitty gritty worl and back to the at race . Next time here I'm gonna make sure to make up for some more pool time 😉

KUDOS to California Inn and Suites . See Ive been here before so I knew what to expect. Staying here is like staying at the Holiday Inn and I mean like the real Holiday Inn not the Express ones they have now- only here at the California Inn and Suites the people working here appreciate youß choosing to stay with them as they cater to ALL American and Canadian needs . The entire staff was just as welcoming as before when I came 8 months back. Most of them remembering my name .I wish I could have the ability to remember names like that but if I could I would fill up this entire page . unfortunately I don't have that ability in me. If so and once again id name so many people from the extremely sweet women who provide room service and again I could not how very nice they ALL are... the best types of people work here like the entire staff that work at the on-site Restaurant serving the best food . So instead having to troop to find a place.to eat you literally have one there right out front your door. "My Amiga" is now coming into my brain because she has the biggest smile that makes you have to smile . She is unbelievably kind and you will know who she is once you meet her believe me . I am honestly ashamed of myself that I'm unable to remember the names of all the wonderful people that work there . Although Jesus comes to mind bc I was able to use my sense of memory.He is extremely helpful person to have and is diligent when needed. This is important and a great service I don't think they even know they provide . I mean he is not your on call nurse but he knows that one who comes out of surgery may need eyes on them to make sure they Are ok . he is there for you and was for me and California inn and Suites the employees are obviously so very welcoming and helpful because of the way they were trained from the top down right ...

That I couldn't buy a motorcycle yet to take back to the US .that really all I have to say about what I didn't like I mean why question how satisfied I wasn't bc I was satisfied and there wasn't anything I did likes so please allow me to press finish

Clean room, good wifi, great bed, crystal pool, good breakfast,lunch ,and dinner. Espresso Cappuccino well crafted. I will definitely return. Algodones, Mexico is well know for high quality dental care. On my previous visits I commuted cross boarder morning and late in afternoon staying in Yuma, but my decision to stay at the California eliminated the daily travel inconvenience without reduction comfort

the staff picked me up at the border and drove me to my dentist. with high temperatures over 100 this was really appreciated the coffee shop and restaurant were right there

I was on the 2nd floor and I am older, it wouldn't have been nice if someone had carried my bags up the stairs. Also, precooling the room when temperatures are 108 would be a good idea

The room had great air conditioning and was clean and spacious, the parking lot was wonderful, and we parked right outside our room, The parking lot and room felt very safe and secure. The Margarita restaurant and the coffee shop were really nice, and they delivered our takeout at no charge. They also accommodated soft breakfast foods all hours for us because of the dental work my husband and I had. They offered us rides to and from our clinic and were very nice.

We had a King room, and the bed was on the firm side. The bathroom could have used some caulking around the tub, but honestly a minor detail. The only difficulty was to not flush toilet paper because of habit. They offer a trash can next to the toilet, so not a big deal. Just strange to me. If you're reading this, it is important not to flush the toilet paper because the plumbing doesn't have good pressure, like most of Central America and it will clog the pipes, so just be kind and follow that rule :)

I like the location, the staff, the restaurant and everyting is clean

I have stayed before and I'm always in room 9 (for haddicapped persons). The shower water is never hot and it is always barely lukewarm. The bedphone does not work, so I cannot ask for a wake up call or dial in case which my cellphone is not working in Mexico, which was the case

Location for me was excellent since I was only passing through. I don't know if it would be near someone's dental practice. I stayed there about 6 months ago and gave it 5 stars. That was before I actually needed more than a bed for the night. The beds are comfortable but a few extra SOFT pillows would be nice. A spare blanket would be too. There's no table or chairs, or plug-in outlet for charging a cell phone or tablet. These are all things I noticed because I arrived earlier than before. But I did get a first floor unit as I requested. It was across the street from the actual hotel. That was fine. I was able to park right by my room. On the hotel side of the street, they have a great parking lot next to it and 24-hour security. This time I had drinks and dinner at their upstairs restaurant and that rates 5 stars! Thank you Daniel for pouring good wine (please have more than one glassful next time) and recommending the crispy shredded beef tacos. Very good! Excellent price for the room! And excellent prices for coffee and a sweet roll, if you use pesos like I did. I'd stay there again for the convenience factor and the price but might look for a place that's a little more modern.

I needed to charge my phone and battery backups. Daniel in the upstairs restaurant was very nice and let me use my long 10-foot cord to an outlet behind the bar. I also had my own short plug and charger in my room across the street for the battery backup.
