The staff is polite. The hotel is very pretty and clean! Perfect location in the heart of san cristobal. But i wasn't impressed...

People talking loudly at night, sounded like they were in the room with me. I had to sleep with headphones on. The next morning a group of people kept walking up and down the corridors talking so loud they woke me up and went on for 2 hours. I know this is common education and they didn't have any, but the hotel should prevent these issues. I paid full price to sleep and rest and relax, nobody gave me a discount for not enjoying my sleep. So please, be more attentive!!! I think also some of the screaming came from the cleaning ladies.

Location is great, close to everything. the room was very nice colonial style, small with two beds and balcony but very confortable and the chimney was so cool! Beds are a little bit hard. Restauran is great. I loved the eggs with mole had them twice, The morning staff in front desk was nice the one (male) was not very helpful. The restaurante manager suggested more than the front desk person. We travel with family, hotel was clean.

The bed was a little bit hard, they said the mattresses are new and they sent us more blankets.

Excellent location and beautiful property. Comfortable and warm rooms. The lady working during the day was particularly helpful - we were especially grateful that she was able to check us in a few hours early when the guy before him said not until 3pm. Paid buffet breakfast was great, nice pressure in the shower.

The inconsistencies of helpfulness of staff. The lady was way more helpful than her male counterpart who often spoke more English.

Central location but on a fairly quiet street. Decent sized room. Clean comfortable beds. Luggage stand. Decent shower. Quiet rooms. Our room wasn't ready yet when we arrived early in the morning but they managed to swap us to one that was already cleaned so we could check-in. Toilet separate from the bathroom.

Not much. The WiFi was not the strongest. But this seems to be a nationwide issue with hotels. Bathroom toilet is a bit snug.

Location was perfect! The patio is beautiful. Beds ok, but mattresses could improve. Need to change for new ones. Also towels, they are old.

We stayed in room 404 and the light is poor. It is difficult to get ready for weddings in such a poor light. The food in your restaurant is good but not extraordinary. Quesadillas too oily, should be able to make them with NO oil, only “al comal”. There were no vegetables in the breakfast buffet.

Location is great, and hotel has it's own parking lot which solved a lot of logistical problems

When we moved in we found out that the toilet is clogged. They have fixed it eventually. Second night there was no hot water in the room. Also, there some unruly and noisy women chatting until 1:30 in the morning on a balcony nearby. I wonder why the staff didn't intervene.

The hotel is just one block away from the central square. The place is magnificent giving a historical ambiance. The rooms are quiet and comfortable. The staff is friendly and helpful. Would stay more days but the other places wait for us... But definitely will come back here.

One of the most charming colonial hotel of all my journey to Mexico. Conveniently located just 5 minutes by walk from the main square of San Cristobal it's the right accomodation if you want to visit properly the historic centre. Room was very cosy and in colonial style. No heating is available so during the night it was a little bit cold and so there is the chance to light the fireplace just aside the bed. Very fascinating. Staying there is like a time machine. You can have a trip back to the past.

If you stay at the rooms close to the street you can hear all the noise from cars. If you suffer from back pain the beds are very hard
