This hotel is run by a lovely family and has been one of my best stays in Mexico so far. I arrived early on the first day at 7 am and was able to check in right away. From that point on, Eugenia and Gaston were extremely caring and helpful throughout my 5-day stay. I really liked the modern design of the hotel and room. It was very clean, and comfortable, and had everything needed for a great stay. The location is perfect, as it's just a short walk to the main attractions of the city. I should also mention that the hotel has excellent WiFi, and I was able to work from my room or the restaurant area and take Zoom calls with no problems. Breakfast was another highlight, as the chef was so nice and made a delicious breakfast! I highly recommend this hotel and will stay again the next time I am in San Cristobal.

The rooms can get very cold in the morning and evening. There was a heater available but it didn't make much difference. A more powerful heater would help.

I originally reserved for one week. I enjoyed this hotel and it's staff so much, I stayed for another week. The hotel's location provides easy access to restaurants and bars. A short walk away. However, it is on a quiet street. There's no noise to interrupt a good night's sleep. The rooms have an artsy, bougee/gulag style. Raw concrete stucco walls. Bare plumbing and electrical conduit. There's plenty of conveniently located electrical outlets. Great free WiFi. Hot water shower. The controls are a bit fiddly. Once you find the correct adjustments they work fine. The restaurant, in the hotel, serves breakfast and lunch. There's a discount for hotel guests. I enjoyed the food, that was prepared to order. Good coffee and fresh juices too. The restaurant staff were very cordial and attentive. Gloria the hostess was the best, so far, in my first 6 weeks of travel in Mexico. She anticipated the answers to my questions before I asked them. She was extremely patient with my child like Spanish vocabulary. Very efficient and pleasant. For any other of my trips in Mexico, I'll go out of my way to stay at Ixmukane.

Would have liked a fan for warmer days and a mini fridge would have made this place like home ; )

The location is close to city center and many restaurants and shops within walking distance. The room was larger and had 3 beds for my large family. Staff was courteous and helpful. Door was locked at night and attendant was there to let us in and provide security. Two of us got a one hour oil massage. Spa was clean and comfortable. The staff was competent and professional.

Shower pressure was an issue in our room. They offered an additional room for us to use while they had it repaired. It wasn't quite right the next day, but the manager refunded our last night. I can say they went out of their way to make it right. I will go back the next time I'm in San Cristobal.

- Great location !!! it was very close to the center where everything is happening. - The main lobby/area was very specious & nice. - Strong & steady WIFI ! - Great Massage at the hotel (extra cost), we highly recommend getting it. - Iv’an from their staff was very helpful and spoke very good English.

- No steady hot water. - Isolation was very poor and all outside noise can be heard in the room. - Bathroom wall was semi complete , it is bothersome - No buffet Breakfast & if you ask for coffee with milk it is extra

Modern and comfy rooms and great breakfast options.

The rooms can be quite dark as they almost don’t get any natural light from outside. Also, the reception lady in the mornings was very insistent offering their spa and tour services and would reproach us not having booked a tour with them. Quite unprofessional from my point of view.

Loved the room! Nice and cozy with all the comfort. Strategic position close to everything!

Just a small note: the walls are a bit thick, so you can ear some outside noises, but mainly in the morning when it is breakfast time. So it is not very bothering!

maybe the most comfortable beds in all Chiapas. Beautiful hotel and great value for money.

only thing worth mentioning is that the bathroom is not fully separated from the room as is the case in many mid class hotels in Mexico.

Very good location, simplified " industrial" building.

Isolation is not the best - temperature and noise. English speaking can be improved. Big hall- without life.

Good breakfast. Friendly staff. Most helpful owner (Fernanda). Central location. Walking distance to everything. Clean room.

Nothing to do with the staff. One night, there was a noisy guest who invited friends to party in his/her room and common area. Noise traveled easily within the facility.
