Almost everything was excellent. The front desk could not have been more helpful. Breakfasts were very good, as was the chambermaid service. The manager was extremely kind and helpful.
The service at the bar was VERY slow. The bartender was friendly and professional, but was easily distracted. One time, when the bar was practically empty, it took him more than 20 minutes to make and bring us three simple drinks. While not necessarily the fault of this wonderful boutique hotel, travelers should be aware that the water is not filtered, so no brushing of teeth, much less drinking of the water. That said, the hotel provides ample bottled water at no charge! Also, as in some other parts of Mexico, used toilet paper must be deposited in a special container as it cannot be flushed down the toilet.

We had a GREAT stay! The property is so beautiful. It’s like a hidden gem inside. We only stayed one night so we did not use the pool. The only thing I did not like is that the parking was across the street and you had to get them to open the gate if you needed to get in your car. So it’s a little inconvenient walking back-and-forth. We had our dogs with us and there’s nowhere for them to go to the bathroom inside… No grass or anything… But we took them outside and walked them on the sidewalk. There was no refrigerator and no microwave and I don’t think they had ice but that was OK. We would definitely stay there again included free breakfast and two free drinks.

Everything about this property reflected impeccable and dedicated staff. The manager Blas went way beyond his call of duty to make sure our group was comfortable and accommodated, and was of great assistance to me. My toilet was running slowly - and someone was sent straight away to remedy the situation. Impeccable service also included calling a store in Guadalajara and helping me procure an item I needed for my tour, which was delivered to the hotel by taxi, saving me hours of time on a very busy day. Blas also connected us with Luis Cruz, an Incredible and celebrated ceramic artist who has a dynamic studio in nearby Tonala. My colleague and I were delighted to meet Señor Cruz the day before our group arrived before taking them to the studio, and this was only possible due to such attention on behalf of the hotel manager. For the rooms, we had comfortable beds, soft sheets, excellent hot water and water pressure in the shower, and requests, such as extra towels, were delivered immediately. Before we departed, we wanted to offer our guests a lecture, and Blas made the presentation space available to us, so we could offer our guests an introduction. This was all done spontaneously and with unmatched professionalism and smiles. This hotel provided better service and comfort than any I have ever stayed in, and I cannot wait to return. All of my tour guests are still raving about it many days later! Bravo to Blas and his team!

This hotel came highly recommended from family members from oregon. It exceeded my expectations. Breakfast was very good. Service was excellent. The area was safe and lots of food venues within walking distance. As I walked alone at night checking out restaurants i felt very safe. The pools were excellent but most of all the historic hotel was so beautiful and all of the plants!
Road construction and the toilet plumbing needed maintenance.

Gorgeous property! Lots of beautiful character. Great pool and good pool loungers and umbrellas. The property and rooms were squeaky clean. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was very good and plentiful. A/C was good. It is only an 8 minute walk to the center pedestrian-only area of Tlaquepaque and El Parian area. Lots of great restaurants, shopping and streetfood nearby. I am definitely coming back to stay here next time im in Guad.
Only thing I didn’t like is that there are not a lot of extras in the room. No iron or ironing board. There is a coffee maker and coffee provided, but no creamer, sugar, or spoon. The bar in the restaurant is not very well stocked. Being in Jalisco, I would have expected to have several Tequila varieties but there was a blanco and a reposado and only 2 choices of beer.

Everything from the friendly staff to the entire atmosphere... Breakfast was really good, staff remembered my tea choice every day... Gardens beautiful They organised a private driver for our tour to tequila and we loved it!
When you 1st arrive you think hotel is in the middle of nowhere.. But be assured it's a safe 10 to 15 mins walk to the main street of taquepacci for restaurants and a really interesting area to walk around About a 25 min taxi ride into guadalara Centre historical... Didn't bother us, but I thought you should be aware...

Our room was clean, bed and linen comfortable. Internet was good. We had asked for small fridge in our room and they brought us one which was great. We would have preferred to be in the courtyard but there was no availability. Our room was #7 which was ample. A bit of a freshen up on the doors and furniture is needed. Our door lock stuck which the front desk came to check immediately. We were just off the lobby on the second floor and it was quiet. Location was good, probably about a 10 min walk to Centro and we took the bus to Centro Guadalaja. We walked everywhere from the hotel with no problem. Liverpool shopping centre and mega were within blocks. Breakfast was always good. All staff were wonderful.🤗
We didn’t like walking home too late as felt a little unsafe. So we were always back around 9. But’s taxi is plentiful. Would like to have seen the restaurant open for lunch or supper. Apparently it use to be before Covid. Our door lock sticking was an issue for us and our room had a bathtub shower of which the tub had high walls and was quite slippery, I could see this being an issue at some time.

The staff was AMAZING! Our bartender Carlos the best! Nico the night auditor was heaven sent! Looked after us like his family which meant the world to us. Our son got sick at 2am and Nico was there to help in any way he could and he did. So thankful for him and staff. Housekeepers Paty and Mary, they were friendly and attentive to our family's needs. The best boutique hotel in Tlaquepaque 😊 Breakfast was great as well!
Could use more cosmetic updates and jacuzzi wasnt working our whole stay.

Loved the breakfast, the big rooms and comfortable bed.
Roadworks on the outside street were happening during our stay but that wasn't something the hotel could do much about. However they kindly let us know in advance which was appreciated. Thankfully they were also only for a week so future stays won't be impacted.

Beautiful hacienda on 2 sites . We were not on the main site , but to our advantage. Amazing . Private , relaxing and quiet area of just 8 rooms in a lovely yellow and blue setting . Staff were friendly and smiley and helpful . So close to the centre as well as local restaurants
Nothing . A piece of constructive criticism. More info about the tours would be helpful
