Staff was great, especially reception employees and the waiter at the breakfast area. At reception they did a great job of assisting us with tours. Location is good, a little over 5 minutes from the city square. The terrace/balcony was great and after a day long tour it provided us with a private area to have a wine and unwind.

Even though the room was clean, the housekeeper failed to change the bedsheets after my wife accidentally spilled some coffee. For us this was a BIG turndown. Never before had we experienced that type of situation.

It was a beautiful hotel very rustic, the rooftop was amazing during breakfast, the breakfast was also very yummy and the people who serve breakfast very kind and smiles everywhere I loved the vibe. Our room was comfortable but the only thing I will say is that the room I stayed in 201 needs work the walls had some scratches and faded paint, the bed was comfy but the bed frame had stains but everything else was good.

I called the hotel to ask until what time they would allow me in since I was in the party and the guy kept hanging up on me it was very annoying he finally answered the phone and my questions by the 4th time

Has no elevator, which wasn’t an issue for me personally but if you get a room in the third floor and have heavy luggage it might be a hassle. Also on day 2 I noticed ants on one of the beds. And the smell from the bathroom sewage I’m guessing smelled bad so the bathroom door had to stay closed or else the smell would get all over the room.

The Hotel Concepto is a very pleasant and attractive hotel for excellent value! The staff is extremely accommodating and kind. The free breakfast that was included with my package on the roof terrace was lovely. Nice hot breakfast and great views. The Concepto is a four blocks or so walk from the main plaza on foot. The street is in the historic district alongside other fine old Morelia buildings.

The standard rooms are small with windows onto the corredor, not outside. That said, they have all you need for a comfortable stay. For windows to the outdoors, be sure to ask for a junior or senior suite for not much more money.

They allowed an early check in which was really helpful and one of the staff was English speaking which was helpful given my limited Spanish! We asked about a hair dryer and it was delivered to the room. The bed and pillows were comfortable. Bottled water was provided and the bathroom and shower were great. Location to the Cathedral was awesome and the included breakfast on the rooftop was exceptional. We were only able to book one night but would have happily stayed our entire time in Morelia.

Super charming. Was concerned about having our hotel room door right off the main lobby but it was very quiet! Deco was nice, attention to detail apparent.

Breakfast area was pretty chilly. Patio rooftop had no heaters (we did have extra throw blankets in room-you may wanna bring with you upstairs!) However staff was proficient and friendly.

Good area, clean, friendly staff. Breakfast was great and part of the room fee.

Internet was on and off in the room. A bit noisy when people arrived late at night, hotel should have a rule of 'no noise after 10pm or 11pm'. Thanks,

We liked the location. The breakfast on the roof top deck was a good start to the day (bonus -fresh squeezed orange juice). Staff were extremely pleasant. Room was big and comfortable as were the beds. Loved the sheets. AC was big and powerful. Super hot, high pressure shower too.

Included breakfast was very good, top quality bedding and towels, air con. Location is good, just south of the plaza.

Only window was to internal courtyard. Advertising this as a villa is misleading and set up for disappointment. It is a double hotel room and should be listed as such.

The staff were the best - so accommodating and helpful. Good internet. Great showers. AC working well. Great price value. Located in the historical centre but on a quiet street. Easy to walk to all the sightseeing and find your way around. Staff was super accommodating and friendly. I arrived in the early morning and was able to store my luggage until check in time and use the courtyard couches to rest for a little. I really appreciated Mario's attention and follow-up on my request to change room. He was very helpful. Communication with the hotel prior to arrival was great (use translation app). Mario also helped organize a tour to the El Rosario Monarch Butterfly Reserve. The room was on the small side but comfortable enough. Firm mattress, soft linen, lots of pillows in different density to choose from. Room was cleaned daily, towels and linen changed. The hotel may have seen better days and could use some renovation, but the overall ambience made up for it. I enjoyed the breakfast on the roof deck with fabulous views over the city to the mountains. Even got some nice sunset pictures. Also convenient is a corner store very close by.

Inner courtyard tends to be noisy when guests come and go but that is to be expected. Overall, nights were quiet and I slept well. The first room had a smell and I asked to change to another room which was done quickly. Would be great to have a luggage rack to place suitcase on in the rooms. A suggestion to improve sustainability: Have a water refill station in the hotel to use less plastic bottles.
