Staff was very friendly Great location, 1 minute from the beach, 5 mins walk from the "buzz" I booked the Bungalow because I was afraid that the pool would be too noisy, but actually I didn't see anyone using the pool. There are two bars close to the hotel, but they were not very noisy. Make sure to make note of the emergency numbers you see at the reception, as they don't have anyone at the reception late at night. Advice for booking in Sayulita in general: maybe contact the hotel first to make sure that there is no renovation/construction on the side of the hotel. I saw a few going on in town and they were noisy. Also, if you like quiet, do not book by the main square - loud music. Diamante Hotel was quiet considering the surroundings, I loved this hotel!

The doors lock once they close. If you close the door with the key inside, you need to call someone to open the door to you. We got lock out at 3 am (door closed while we were on the patio getting water) and we had to call the number they provide for emergency. The receptionist showed up 2 minutes later and she somehow was NOT grumpy at us, which was great!! So make sure to always have the key with you.

Coffee and fresh fruit together with cereal, bread and local jams made for an excellent breakfast. The location could not be better - stroll to the beach, top rated restaurants next door, a bar, cafes, boutiques and convenience store. Highly recommend.

The shower was not always hot.

Center of town and a quick walk to the beach. The restaurant next door has a wonderful breakfast. Room was small but nicely new and updated. Parking on the street in front. Nice host.

All was great. Just the “breakfast included” is only from 9-10am. So a bit inconvenient. A bit pricey for what you get.

I liked the small hotel setting, staff always keeping area clean. Staff spoke no English but had app in their phone for translation. Continental breakfast with fruit each morning was a nice surprise. Lighting over sink was great. Rooms were nicely decorated. Loved the location away from main center but easy to walk to. A couple of great restaurants in the neighborhood. Would love to return soon.

Not much to complain about. Rooms had a gap under main door so the light came through. We just put bath mat at door at night.

the property was nice, far enough from the centre of town to be quieter, close enough to the beach and restaurants.

ETA: it took a week of nagging, but Booking.com refunded one of the charges. I also had to change this review to 2 stars to get attention ;) I was billed twice for this stay - once by the hotel and once by booking.com. My reservation said I should pay the hotel when I got there so I did. Then booking.com charged me again a week later. My Spanish is terrible, so I can't communicate with the hotel. I'm now fighting with booking.com to get a refund.

Easy walking to beach and town. Balconies were great, pool clean, and breakfast was amazing and homemade every morning. The staff was incredible!

Slight noise but never bothered me!

The staff is excellent and the property and rooms are clean. The location is good, a short walk to the beach and the downtown area.

it is very loud there. The bar across the street has live music most nights and the construction trucks go by early in the morning and all day. Be aware that kitchen facilities for the bungalows are outside.

Great location. Block from the beach, really nice owners, good breakfast. Right out the door great seafood (Jakal), Pizza (Venezia), bar (Pineapple), casual tacos/seafood (Estrella de Mar). Little noisy, but settles down from 10pm-8am, but out having a good time anyway.

The bed was fine, the breakfast good, sitting area outside 2nd floor, close to town, large water jug is great! Decent hotel, corner shelves good.

Our room was very small , no hooks on wall - should have hooks to hang hat or clothes etc. Please get rid of styrofoam for breakfast, use more of the real dishes and tell people they need to wash the dishes in sink, or use paper dishes.

we loved our room and the beds were so comfortable! We had an outdoor covered kitchen with stove, blender, bottled water, and coffee maker, towels and dishes!

We did not like the noise but it wasn’t the Hotel’s fault! Two very noisy bars with music played every night and my niece was kept awake. I wore ear plugs and was fine!
