Amazing, amazing hotel. We spent a full week of down time here after a strenuous few week of hiking and it couldn’t have been more perfect. Very kind staff, friendly atmosphere, all staff going above and beyond, delicious breakfast. Would really look forward to saying here again when in Sayulita.

If the bar/restaurant was open after 13:40 this would be a huge bonus. But that’s only small, you can plan for this and there is a fridge in your room and water available at reception 24/7.

Don Bonito was so much nicer than the photos even show. The staff was great, the grounds were beautiful, and the food in the cafe was amazing. The free breakfast was an extra perk. They also give you a meal voucher for the restaurant Rustica, which is owned by the same people, and the pizza there was phenomenal. On my last day, I took advantage of the free yoga on the roof. I will definitely stay here again the next time I'm in Sayulita. 15/10.

Nothing could've been better.

The staff at Don Bonito was wonderful and attended to all our needs! Matty was so friendly, approachable and could address any questions or concerns we had. The location is just a 5 minute walk from the beach and is located in the quieter part of the town which we liked. A bonus was having a delicious cafe below our hotel room where we got complimentary breakfast every day and a rooftop yoga studio above our hotel! We highly suggest to our friends and family!

Great location, pool was nice in the afternoon. Yoga studio did good classes and lovely friendly staff, who were always responsive.

Our room smelt a little damp, but it did improve when we opened the window in the bedroom. We couldn’t get the window open in the bathroom. There were only 2 items you could have on the breakfast menu in the cafe (if you got B&B). Being able to pay the extra e.g you have up to x amount and then you pay extra would be a good idea and give you more choice and flexibility.

The hotel staff was very pleasant and the rooms were as pictured. Having the Bonito Cafe downstairs was a major perk and where we started each morning. We were given a free yoga pass to The Rose Room which is upstairs, however we didn't have a chance to go, but I heard good things from fellow travelers who went. The large bathtub in the bathroom was very nice and the housekeeping staff did a great job cleaning the room. Location is about a 5-10 min walk into the main town, but very close to the beach (w/ the windows open you can hear the waves). The pool is also a nice touch and there was never anyone there. Overall pleased with our stay here!

On our second morning, our bathroom flooded. There was a leak in the water connection. Unfortunately, the front of desk staff was not there to assist with this, but we were able to be moved to a different room relatively quickly and had no further issues. So while not the most ideal, the solution was provided in an efficient manner and it did not negatively impact our stay at all. The only other negative would be that the closets don't really provide adequate clothing storage. There is some shelving but not much hanging room. A small gripe however that, again, wouldn't prevent me from staying here.

Matty and the staff at Don Bonito are excellent. They always make me feel so welcome, and I love this hotel in Sayulita so much. Walking distance to the beach, 5 minute walk to restaurants and bars and 10 minutes into town. The breakfast and food at the cafe is amazing, and there is rooftop yoga every morning and evenings all within the hotel. Definitely recommend staying here if you're planning a visit to Sayulita!

Beautiful modern hotel, staff is amazing. Matty was very helpful and nice. Everything was perfect! I definitely recommend this hotel. Short walk to north Sayulita Beach. Very convenient location. Quiet area, breakfast is delicious. Small swimming pool but beautiful and quiet to take a relaxing splash after a sunny day at the beach. Short walk to downtown, restaurants, bars. Easy to park outside the hotel. Would definitely stay here again.

Location was great for me because I was in Sayulita to disconnect, recharge, relax, and be close to the beach. The property is a 1-2 minute walk to the beach, and I went most nights for sunset. There was a lil beach bar with a great vibe. There was also a fantastic restaurant/bar just a few steps next door, too. The hotel is far enough from the main square that it's quiet, and I really liked that. Big comfortable bed, the staff was really friendly, the cleaning staff also made the room feel super fresh when I needed cleaning. Furniture and design was on point. Nice pool in the back, and sunny patio in the front upstairs. The coffee at the restaurant was amazing. Blablabla, it's a sexy modern place and has everything you need. Great stay.

We stayed here for our wedding! We love the north end of sayulita, and it was the perfect space to get quiet deep night sleep. The staff were so friendly, and the restaraunt was yummy. We also ended up doing photos there, which I can’t wait to see!

Mattie, Elena, Poncho were all so friendly and professional. The breakfast was delicious and the big surprise of a yoga class at 8am was delicious. Planning our return next year!!

Sayulita has become quite the crowded tourist attraction. Fortunately, Don Bonito was far enough away that the noise wasn’t a problem.
