Decent location to walk to nearby shops in downtown. Best thing was the INCREDIBLE vegan restaurant right across the road which did amazing food.

Breakfast was okay. Everything was cold one morning and we were there around 8:00am. Second morning it was warm. Ordered room service our first night and everything was cold. Got a pizza and it was clearly just a frozen pizza. Wouldn’t recommend at all. One of the gentlemen on front desk was very friendly and helpful and was very happy to answer our questions and help. One of the ladies not so much. Everything seemed like it was too hard and she was just happy for other people to answer questions and do the work - just didn’t seem like she actually wanted to do her job at the front desk. Overall not a bad stay but not great either.

This was my second time staying at Fairfield by Marriott Cancún Downtown, and once again, my experience was excellent. I stayed from February 6th to 11th, and the hotel’s location is perfect—close to downtown and with easy access to the hotel zone, making transportation very convenient. The housekeeping service was outstanding, keeping everything clean and organized every day. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, always willing to assist with a great attitude. We also really enjoyed the breakfast. Additionally, I want to thank the staff for their beautiful gesture in celebrating the 15th birthday of one of our group members. It truly made our stay even more special! I would definitely recommend this hotel and would stay here again on my next visit to Cancún.

A Memorable Stay at Riu Palace Las Americas – Cancun’s Gem Choosing a hotel in Cancun can be overwhelming—the options seem endless. For our recent 3-night stay, we explored numerous websites and read plenty of reviews before finally deciding on Riu Palace Las Americas – All-Inclusive, Adults Only. Although we were initially skeptical about the food due to a few negative reviews, our actual experience far exceeded expectations—it was nothing short of exceptional. This hotel excels in every aspect. The “unlimited drinks” promise doesn’t mean watered-down cocktails or low-tier liquor. On the contrary, the bar serves premium options like Johnnie Walker Black Label. No matter where you are—by the pool, in the lounge, or on the beach—staff are attentive and frequently offer drinks with a warm smile. The generosity of the hotel in both food and beverage service is remarkable. The breakfast buffet is world-class. I’m usually cautious with buffets, but here everything was freshly prepared and delicious. I especially enjoyed the fried fish, which was cooked to perfection. For dinner, we tried their Black & White steakhouse, and both the beef and salmon steaks were outstanding. I even had the opportunity to try meats I had never tasted before—duck, turkey, and pork—all prepared with finesse. Our suite was massive, featuring a large bed, two cozy sitting areas, and a balcony overlooking the lively main pool. The atmosphere around the pool was electric—guests laughing, enjoying drinks from the aqua bar, and soaking in the vacation vibe. Entertainment was another highlight. One evening featured an impressive Michael Jackson tribute show, and on another day, we joined a jungle pool party at a neighboring Riu resort, where guests from all Riu properties came together for a wild, fun-filled afternoon. The hotel boasts four fine dining restaurants—Italian, Mexican, Japanese, and the steakhouse. Even during peak hours, we never waited more than 30 minutes.

The reception staff Arturo, Julio and Mr. Guzman and the young lady all provided excellent tips and customer service. The service staff in the breakfast room was helpful and clean and answered right away questions. Security staff outside were alert and caring helping all the customers on arrival. The plumber came to aid right away and the cleaning staff did a wonderful job every day and my room was orderly and clean.

Overall I do not anything negative that I experienced and would like to come back to this hotel. Thank you.

The hotel was nice, very clean and the beds were very comfortable. The hotel staff was so lovely and helpful at all times. The location is also convenient if you're looking to stay in Downtown Cancun since we pretty much walked to all the bars/restaurants in the area.

The soundproofing in the rooms needs to be better. Although the breakfast was different from what I'm used to having in hotels, it was decent and with a lot of variety, but lacking healthy options in my opinion.

The best hotel para stay in Cancun, very close to the principals streets, shoppings (Las Americas, La Plaza, La Isla) Chedraui, and a lot of others, staying in Fairfield you will avoid the intense traffic on the Coco Bongo street called Blvd. Kukulcan, the traffic here some times is heavy and very slow. The location of Fairfiled is good because you can drive to Playa Del Carmen, Tulum or Holbox, without passing trough this boulevard.

The service was amazing, and a special shout-out to Jose, who was super efficient and welcoming at check-in. The room was impeccably clean, and we loved the great shower, comfy big bed, and the good room size.

The only downside, which isn't necessarily bad but worth noting, is that there is no room service available. However, this didn't detract from our overall experience.

The location is 5 min from Ado main bus station which gives you access to other cities such as Tulum, playa del carmen etc

The breakfast is simple with limited option and or variety if you are staying for a long period

Breakfast was awesome, rooms were simple but clean and nice. Gym was nice but not extensive. It literally is simple and clean. Shower water pressure was great. Good deal for the price.

The restaurant is basically non-existant (but really the taco spots across the street are amazing) so it's fine, and the staff seemed like they had never helped anyone who needs information about how to get around. Don't expect a ton of guidance from the night staff, but they were very nice.

All staff excelled in customer service. Check in was fast and efficient. The rooms were very clean. The beds comfortable. The breakfast had a variety of delicious options. I would recommend this place to others.

The towels felt old and worn but still clean.
