The food was quite good in both the buffets and the specialty restaurants. We did not like everything on the buffet everyday, but there was always plenty to satisfy my family. From 7am to 10pm there was always at least three options for food (including the snack bar). The snack bar could provide a meal in itself basically 24 hours a day. Drinks were very good. Would give the food/drink a 9.5 rating. The beach is simply terrific and absolutely a 10 rating. Entertainment provided every evening was pretty good quality, not amazing but filled the evenings quite well. Entertainment rating is a 8. Staff was friendly and helpful every time period. Staff rating is a 10. Location / setting of the hotel is near perfect. Very well kept grounds and beautiful. Hotel is walking distance to many activities. We walked to the Mayan Museum / Ruins 45 minutes south, La Isla Mall complex 20 minutes north, the mall across the street several times, and up / down the beach multiple times. Location / setting rating is a 10. Couple other thoughts... Safety seemed effortless so was never concerned. Attendants at the front entrance watch those coming and going well. Wife and daughter when alone never felt unsafe entire week. Also, this place had some of the best sunrises I have ever seen.

The only true negative about the hotel was the air conditioning in our vaulted ceiling room 8030. It was 72 to 75 degrees or so all the time. It never cooled down below 72 degrees even at night. This led to some warm sleeping. It was workable, but not great. Everything else about the room was indeed dated but just fine. View from the room was terrific. We would still give the room rating an 8 overall.

We loved the facility, the beach, the amenities, the room, the beds. They have chairs at the beach which is an A+, The ocean is beautiful, Nice pools, and the views from the hotel to the beach are amazing. Tons of activities Yoga, Zuma, aquatics.

I think the food could be better, especially the Mexican restaurant. They need to work more with the customer service of the restaurants. The Bar staff was nice and happy. Unfortunately, the service at the restaurants was not good, not every single employee, but mostly the waiters. The restaurant with the most unpleasant service was the Italian restaurant.

The staff was incredibly welcoming, professional, and attentive—making me feel right at home from the moment I arrived. The room was spotless, beautifully decorated, and extremely comfortable. Everything was well-maintained and thoughtfully arranged, with attention to even the smallest details. The amenities were top-notch, including the food, drinks, shows, three relaxing pools, modern gym, delicious breakfast, fast Wi-Fi. What really stood out to me was the warm and genuine hospitality. Everyone went out of their way to ensure my stay was perfect, and it truly was. Whether you’re traveling for business or leisure, this hotel strikes the perfect balance of comfort, convenience, and care. Everything was excellent

the hotel has a gorgeous ocean view. bartending and food were amazing, and staff were wonderful. I tend to be a picky eater, and the buffet still had so many delicious options, pushing me to branch out. I Can’t emphasize enough how friendly and hard working the staff are. They go above and beyond to make sure you are happy and comfortable. Lots of entertainment at the pool throughout the day, and fun shows at night.

Rooms were a little hot, would’ve liked a fan or some kind of air conditioning. Beach had some seaweed build up along the sand and in the shallow water, kind of had to jump over it to get to the water lol. If you don’t mind the seaweed, the beach is still a great option! (I acknowledge that this is mostly out of their control.)

Customer service was A1! Really made our stay that much more enjoyable. I really wish the shows and entertainment was better advertised, I feel like we missed out so n a bunch of things happening during our 2 week stay.

The mixed drinks were TRASH!! There’s only so many shots and wine I could drink. But, I’m assuming all of the all the all inclusive hotels in Cancun had bad drinks, so this is still the best hotel. Also, the specialty restaurants options were all trash. The Mexican food was the only edible option for dinner. Otherwise just stick to the buffet.

The food. I thought since we had stayed at a Barcelo property it would be the same. It was not. Staff stalked us to get into meeting about some program. Elevator button did not work in family member’s floor. Their sink and showering kept clogging.

First, I have to admit this is the very first "all-inclusive" I've stayed in, so my expectations were probably down to earth. That said, for me the nine days I stayed there were absolutely amazing. There are so many things to do every day, and as we went also to excursions and a water park, we actually didn't even manage to see every show and didn't manage to do every activity. As a huge Michael Jackson fan - I loved the show, and the Argentian MJ did a fine job. Private check-in and staff were always helpful and friendly. The room had a view of the Caribbean Sea - it was absolutely amazing. I suggest taking a room with a balcony to be able to dry the swimsuit in the sun for the next day. I loved that the all-inclusive people had this special room where one could get snacks and beverages at all times. hotel has shops where You can buy souvenirs or swimwear if needed. There's also an ATM, pharmacy and possibility to book some excursions with a travel agency.

The Italian restaurant "Trattoria" is kinda "meh". I can accept that there is actually nothing Italian about the food, but the overseer of the restaurant does always a poor job of letting people in. Lines were forming every evening, although people had to book this at an exact time, so, there shouldn't be any lines at all. The "Trattoria" staff was so slow, that the last evening we decided not to even go there, because there were many people before us (although we had a reservation). As I mentioned we stayed nine days, but, to be fair, after a week food gets a bit boring. So, if somebody is looking for a place to stay more than a week, probably an option with more restaurants is for You.

The hotel was right on the gorgeous sandy Cancun beach which was cleaned every day. The three pools we're all lovely, with great views of the ocean. Our hotel room was a great size and we had a large comfy bed. Staff were friendly.

The drinks were not great. Cocktails felt watered down and very sugary. Food was mostly ok. We swapped our dinner reservation to go to the fish restaurant but when we arrived they told us we didn't have a reservation which was a shame as the restaurant had a great view of the ocean. We ate at the Mexican restaurant instead but the food wasn't very good.

Rooms are spacious, had a big balcony, there's a hairdryer, fridge with mini bar. There's a coffee machine for the filter coffee(they give 1 sachet per day). Breakfast is the best meal of the day! It was my favourite: lots of fresh juices choices, cold cuts, cheeses, fruits were also so sweet and fresh and tasty! Thank you for a great breakfast!!!

Theres no kettle (i love to drink tea, but have to go downstairs to get it when i need). When we arrived, the beds looked unchanged (but we were so tired after 12h flight so we didn't have power to ask them change the beds). They changed the linen the next day. Food variety: most of the time food choices are repeated, however bearable. No slippers in the room.

Very clean I did not see one single cockroach, ant or any insect in my room or surrounding communal areas. My room was perfect for me and I felt very safe in the hotel as a single female traveler, I was there dental treatment alone for 10 days so safety -while sometimes under heavy painkillers was very important to me. While I didn't drink any alcohol on my trip from what I saw they had a good selection. Soft drinks and lots of fresh juices available in the snack bar and restaurant at all 3 meal times, ice cream, and plenty of choice. No issues with getting a pool lounger, Had a great little pharmacy inside the hotel and both pharmacists I met were Fantastic at advice on medication.

I think the "all inclusive means eat and drink to excess cause we've paid for it" type of folk need to adjust their expectations and also behavior, the place was great until a few days before end of my stay and a large group of US guests arrived with attitude, noise. Rudness and, like I mentioned, a type of arrogance that can come with a" but we've paid for it" But this is no reflection on the staff or hotel.
