Casa Mexicana feels like a home from home when we return. The staff are all wonderful, friendly and helpful. Particular thanks to the wonderful Cynthia and Monica who were always a joy. The location is perfect just minutes from the ferry port which makes arrival and departure simple and close to shops, bars and restaurants. The breakfast was always delicious with a tasty buffet that varied day to day and omelettes and pancakes cooked to order. The Seaview rooms are large with huge comfortable beds and large terraces overlooking the sea. The rooms are well equipped with hairdryer, iron and ironing board and a small fridge. The housekeeping staff keep the rooms spotlessly clean.

Everything is so good it is hard to make any criticism. Two very small improvements would be a kettle or coffee maker in the room just so you could make a hot drink. As Brits we love a cup of tea first thing! The WIFI was good in the room but quite patchy in the reception and the terrace. Two minor suggestions for an otherwise perfect stay.

I have always admired this hotel when traveling to Cozumel and finally had the opportunity to stay there for a few nights....it was outstanding!!! I was looking for a quiet relaxing escape for a few days, but still close enough to the shopping, bars, and restaurants. Casa Mexican is perfect for all of it. the pool area is small and very relaxing with bar conveniently located. Sinthia the bartender is absolutely fantastic and became a good friend that I look forward to seeing again and again!!! The included buffet breakfast was the best ever....incredible food, clean dining area (in an open atrium!), and the staff were the best, especially Monica!! The room (503) was clean and comfortable with an amazing ocean view from the outdoor patio. Just can't say enough great things about this property! Casa Mexicana will always be my go-to home in Cozumel, they make you feel like family!!

There was nothing that wasn't spectacular!

The hotel is in a great location, walking distance to shops, restaurants, the pier, etc. The rooms were clean and comfortable, tap water was filtered, so drinkable. We had breakfast included, which had a decent variety of options, including fresh fruit. The staff were all friendly and helpful. The rooms were fairly sound-proof, we didn't hear much noise from the hallway or outside (and we were there for New Years!). Pool was small, but fine, never many people in it. We had 5 rooms and they were able to put us all on the same floor, which was nice.

The AC in our room didn't respond to the controls! No matter what we set it at, it kept to about 19 degrees celcius, much too cold for me.

This hotel has so many things in their favor!!! Their rooms are huge in size, very clean and the bed and pillows so comfortable. The breakfast is abundant, varied and delicious. Their staff was so friendly and always wanting to help. They are located close to many restaurants, downtown, shopping , a supermarket, a movie theater, a pickleball court and a taxi stand. I will come back.

As the best beaches in the island are in the South West, you need to take a taxi to take you there. But, this is the case with any hotel downtown. This is not a problem, really.

Gamma is amazing. He took care of us late in day on Christmas. The hotel I stayed at flooded. He carried my 2 heavy suitcases up the stairs after checking me in. The escalator was broken..He was professional and composed. Highest remairks and rating for Gamma! Best beds in town!

Noise coming up in atrium 6 am preparing breakfast. Good thing I brought earplugs!

I have visited Cozumel via cruise ships for the purpose of diving. I decided to fly and stay in Cozumel for some diving specialty courses. I brought my wife to Mexico for the first time and she loved Cozumel and this hotel. She's happy and so am I. The breakfast is the best I ever had staying at a hotel. The location is great too. We could walk to many of the reasonably priced restaurants. The ocean view was inspiring. The hotel made every effort on maintenance and appearance of the hotel. I look forward to staying at this hotel again.

7AM Buffet breakfast not always ready to serve on time. Kitchen staff sometimes late to arrive and still setting up. As a scuba diver with an early boat departure, every minute counts in getting a quick bite before leaving the hotel for the pier.

The location of this hotel is superb, right on the main street overlooking the ocean. Close to all the restaurants, shops and bard. An 8 mins walk from the Ferry Terminal. After the cruise liners depart early evening each day, it's quieter outside. The view is excellent if you opt for an ocean view. The pool is small but fine for dipping in on a hot day. The breakfast is good and varied with an Egg station.

The location of the hotel is excellent - overlooking the sea, close to the ferry terminal and walking distance to the center. The rooms are clean, spacious and nice, with good views. The hotel is located on a quiet street, so you can have a good night sleep there. There are cool locally produced cosmetics in the bathroom, which turned out to be very good. The staff is very nice and friendly. The breakfast is good (you can order different types of eggs, an waffles) and it starts serving from 7 am. There is a very nice terrace with a small pool and the sea view - we met sunrise there in the morning and it was very peaceful and beautiful.

We love Casa Mexicans. It’s not a resort. It’s a really nice place near the city center in Cozumel. We had an Ocean view room where we could sit after our day at our favorite beach nearby and watch the sun go down. There are restaurants near by that we could choose from. We started off each day with breakfast that is included. The staff are very accommodating and friendly.
