Perfect location. Quiet at night. Great breakfast with super kind staff. AC! The separate cafe downstairs in front is the absolute best. We became friends with the lovely Armando who works there on and he brought so much joy to our trip. The pool is beautiful and we swam after the beach a lot. We would definitely stay again!

The room’s decoration & design were magical- we stayed in a split level studio (corner room: bedroom and living room with sofa and even a kitchen corner). The location is very convenient to go to the beach, shopping or eating out. But you can also hear some music at night coming from clubs/lounges. It was not very annoying for us. But realistically if you don’t want to have any noise at night, then you can’t stay in the center. Make sure to try out the capriccio cafe at the hotel entrance : just amazing ! Try the brownies ! or anything else really they are really good ! The staff is really helpful and welcoming

Beautiful spot with bohemian/artsy decor and our room (called Nube) had a balcony with hammock overlooking the pool that was so nice. :) Very well located close to other shops and restaurants and a short walk to the beach. It includes free breakfast which was decent, but there’s also a really good cafe called Cappricio at the front that’s worth checking out. They also had free water refill spots around the hotel. We will definitely come back!

The pool was a little dirty at times with leaves etc but still refreshing on a hot day. The staff were mostly friendly and helpful but sometimes seemed a little grumpy (for example, we had to ask for more shampoo bottles as they hadn’t been replaced and they seemed mildly annoyed). The bed was comfortable but maybe a little hard compared to home.

Beautiful property! We especially enjoyed the pool area. We had the two level studio and it was really nice, they put a lot of detail and care into creating this place. All the fixtures were lovely. The location was great. It was very clean and they came to sweep and remake the bed everyday which was great since we were always tracking in sand.

I’m really sensitive to chemicals and fragrances and there is a horrible scented thing they put in the toilet that is overwhelming. It’s like a urinal cake or something that they must put in the back the toilet, the smell seeps out of the bathroom and it’s gross… I’d rather smell sewage to be honest…. Our friend stayed in a king room and it was 10x worse in her room where the bathroom was in her bedroom and the smell was inescapable. Also the pool is only open until 7pm which was pretty disappointing. I’m assuming they do this for sound reasons although that’s a bit silly when there’s literally noisy mariachi music playing outside of every window until the wee hours of the night.

The room was pretty, comfortable and clean. We loved the hammock on the terrace. A/c worked very well. There were screens in the windows making it mosquito proof. We enjoyed the pool. The hotel staff were very responsive. The location is right in the center on the main street close to all the restaurants , bike rentals, shops etc. and short walk from the beach. The main beach however, was really smelly (lots of seagrass) when we visited in July. The beaches further away in both directions; towards Playa Punta Cocos and Punta Mosquitos were much nicer.

Our room was facing the main road and was quite noisy. The quad taxis are obnoxiously loud and the traffic was constant into late at night.

Location was great, very centric. First impression was that it’s a beautiful hotel very well decorated. Breakfast was amazing, just few options but very tasty.

Although it is cleaned everyday, it seems it’s not properly vacuumed and for example, there were stickers on the furniture probably left by previous people. There was a strong tube smell from the shower, but since it’s stoned, it was hard to cover. I either got used to it or it got better with time. It can get loud as there are parties around until 1:30am.

We had a beautiful room with an outside hammock overlooking the pool. The beds were very comfortable and great quality bedding. Loved the decor - shower was powerful and hot. Lovely location with cute cafe directly outside and a 5 minute walk to the beach.

We loved everything. I was worried about the WiFi as read many reviews but ours was fine possibly because we were close to the pool. Noise had been noted as a problem reading other reviews but although you can definitely hear nightlife it wasn’t an issue for us

The room was extremely comfortable and cleaned daily with fresh new towels (even if we didn´t ask for it). Very charming and cozy set up, we appreciated the decoration/ design of the space. The staff at reception was always very friendly and helpful.

Unfortunately I have a some culinary restrictions and it seemed pretty complicated to order some breakfast that I could eat. The staff working at breakfast seemed pretty confused even if the only request was "without cheese".

Breakfast starts only at 8.00 so not available for whale shark swimming tour. Bathroom is very nice and clean but has some design flaws like holders for towels are usless during the shower or your towels will get wet. But thats small details. We were still very happy with our stay and would come back for sure.

Holbox is a must-see for a trip to the Yucatan Peninsula and this property is perfect for a stay: surrounded by greenery and with a swimming pool, in the center and a stone's throw from the sea. Friendly and helpful staff. Excellent mattress! I highly recommend this property.

The only two flaws were the insufficient breakfast and a bit of a damp smell in the room (there are no windows but only the entrance door).
