The staff at the hotel is absolutely amazing, Ricardo and Ernesto went out of their way to make sure our stay was wonderful. Casa Barbara is amazing. We would totally stay here again

Only a couple of minor things I would change. I did not like the plastic mattress covers on the beds, in a tropical environment, it can make the bed a little uncomfortable and sweaty. However, I just asked at the front desk for a mattress cover, and they kindly provided one. The only other thing would be that there are no real dressers or wardrobes to keep your clothes. if you're only here for a couple of days, it's no biggie, but we stayed for 11 days, and it was a bit of a nuisance living out of a suitcase.

Fantastic location. Nice and comfortable room. Lovely outdoor space with hammocks and seating area with lots of well maintained plants. Pool was great for kids.

Staff in breakfast place do not smile. Long wait time to have your food. Overall breakfast expirience low. For the record, we got hot drink, bowl of fruits and sweet pastry. Nice and tasty but small for what we normally eat. Better options were available to order and prices were decsent. My son enjoyed french toast beautifully presented.

Modern beachy vibe, clean rooms, good A/C. Restaurant attached was very nice with good food. Grounds were very lush with places to lounge.

Mosquitos everywhere! My son got 50 bites on his legs alone. Bug bites + swimsuits don't look good together! Continental Breakfast was bread, fruit, coffee. Wait staff was sure to tell us many times - made us feel unwelcome and imposing on their time and tables.

The garden with pool is beautiful and well taken care of. The room is clean, the shower is warm and comfortable, and the airconditioning worked well. Everything worked as it should and we liked our stay. I'll probably come back.

I found this hotel via booking.com but hadn't booked it yet. At arrival, we asked if there were any rooms available. One staff member directly mentioned there wasn't. I doubted it, so I went to booking.com and made a reservation. We were glad we could stay here, but confused why the stuff member said it was fully booked. This person wasn't at the desk anymore once the booking was confirmed, we didn't ask for an explanation. Beside this, note that it does not get very dark in the room due to simple curtains and the lamp outside.

The room was big and comfortable, clean. The staff was nice and available in proving indications for the best beaches. The position was perfect because very close to the ferry station.

Breakfast was very poor, because they provide only a small bowl of fruit, a coffee and one sweet. Honestly, not enough. For other options (eggs, bread, other sweets, etc) we should have paid.

Here is really many plants like well cozy for outdoor and pool. From hotel is near the ferry station. Also near at Bank, restaurant and Store.

The breakfast was ok, we only had a sweet bakery to choose from and cereal with fruit. And only takes black coffee if other coffee then have to pay yourself. We arrived and were only given two towels. We are the third person.

The staff at the front desk were extremely friendly and helped us arrange a bioluminesicent tour which was amazing! Nothing was too much for them. We could not fault the rooms and it was lovely to have hot water in the showers.

I liked everything

Casa Barbara is an easy walk from the ferry terminal, once there it’s a real oasis of tranquility. Lovely, shaded tropical gardens surround a beautiful pool. It was nice and quiet and protected from the parties going on in the distance. The included breakfast is a delicious bowl of fresh fruit, good coffee (important) and a selection of cake from the onsite bakery !

The staff was perfect, incredibly helpful. We arrived early and were able to use the garden including the pool which was fantastic in the hot weather. The garden is beautiful. The room was cozy and clean. Breakfast simple but tasty - excellent sweet pastries, fruit with muesli and yogurt.

Beautiful and large room. Convenient location on the main street, right next to stores, cafes and restaurants.

Poor water pressure in the shower, and just lukewarm water. Rooms facing the street can be extremely noisy.
