I have stayed there three times. It is away from the Tourist hustle, so if that is why your in PDC this may not be for you. If you are the kind that can share space with others, this is a converted big home that is now multiple smaller rooms. You have a lock to your room but the house is open. There is a locking gate to the street. If you have no courtesy to others and/or you have to yell rather than speak softly I suggest you stay elsewhere as you will irritate other guests. There often is the dufus that has to disturb everyone in places like this, or in some cases a whole family of loud folks who are clueless to everyone around them. Read each listing carfully as some are shared bathroom and some have their own. The lower price units are often very limited space with the roof taking much of the space. Walkable to bus/collectivos to Puerto Morelos and Cancun, or southbound. You can walk to a Chedraui grocery store about 4 blocks away.

Common use refridge needs cleaning. Guests using the few lounge chairs for a clothesline. Loud family comes in and wakes people up near midnight. Most people are respectful but not all. Also non guests seem to have use of the pool. This is a HUGE problem EVERYWHERE, even outside of Mexico. Do not leave any food out in the common area or animals will enter at night and get it. Animals will not get into your room though.

Very nice concept of the accommodation, nice bathroom (even though ours was out of the room), beautiful garden with the swimming pool where you can chill around. The kitchen is well-equipped. We rented the bikes from the hotel (I think it was 170 pesos per person per day), which was the best thing we could do in Playa (highly recommended) ;)

The room can be a little bit noisy (it depends a lot on your mates from other rooms) and it is not so spacy (to unpack the luggage widely). These are only minors, do not hesitate to book it ;)

This place is one of a kind. My room was so cute and made me feel like a princess. The common areas are nice and the pool is always clean. The trees are BEAUTIFUL. the decorations they have are nice, but it's not too cluttered. There is a very old cat and I love her. The staff quickly responded to any questions or needs that I had.

Great quiet hotel, we had one of the apartments which was very spacious with comfortable beds. It was also nice to have a « real » blanket to sleep. The shower is very nice, hot water and water pressure is perfect. It’s also very quiet, was the first and only hotel in Mexico (and we stayed at quite a lot) we didn’t have to use earplugs and had a good night’s sleep. Drinking water provided!

The sheets were a bit stained. We weren’t able to enter the pool with our keys, the pool is across the street and protected by a secured door which we found a bit weird. Check-in was not super easy, despite having texted us beforehand, we didn’t receive instructions on how to enter the property and ended up before locked doors. There was no sign indicating to simply ring at the door and we only figured that out after 10 minutes in the hot sun.

- Always made up the bed and emptied the bins, - Very good shower ( hot water and enough pressure) , - Good kitchen with everything you need( except scissors ) - Good bed - Very nice garden and balcony - The orange cat - Very Clean - A safe feeling

- Curtains are not darkning enough - A lot of noise came in the room from our neighbours' bathroom. - The walk you have to do to get to the beach ( we knew this when we booked and we don't mind but but just be aware that is not a nice, relaxing walk to the beach. - be aware that the swimming pool is on the other side of the street if you book the appartments.

Very cute place. The private room is off to the side but still immediately next to the pool. The room was quite big! The only “problem” we had was the shower would turn on very hot and after a few minutes, would be cool the rest of the time. But our room was cleaned every day. Check in was easy with very good video instructions. They can hold your luggage after checkout until 3pm.

The place is beautiful. A real little oasis in playa. Away from the business of the centre I could really breath and relax here. My room was beautiful and clean. The bed was very comfy. The staff were very accommodating. I can’t fault it. And I want to come back.

It is far away from the centre if you walk. But worth it for the peace and quiet.

Apartment was spacious, very clean and had a little garden

A little further away from the center, so needed to use taxis every time I wanted to go to beach or have dinner. I also didn’t feel like I had much privacy as my room was facing the garden and the reception.

Enormous comfortable bed, good aircon, plenty of indoor space and good shower with hot water, plus access to the pool across the road (no space for sun beds though). There are some very good restaurants nearby, and while it’s a good walk from the closest beach at PDC, that beach isn’t great anyway, but you are close to the secondary ADO bus station for a minibus to Xelha which is much nicer (access fees apply: beach only or beach club).

Some noise from neighbours late at night, not really able to use the outdoor space (some patios were more usable than others), and totally unable to keep mosquitoes out despite the screens.

Very clean, it had everything I needed.... just no TV. Not a deal breaker, but this one small thing would make a big difference. That and WIFI accessible from the room. The pool was great, and I loved the full sized refrigerator with dishes and stovetop to use. The front desk gentleman even booked a taxi to the airport for me.

I was expecting a TV - and WIFI - in the room.
