It was 15 mins walk to the less touristy side of 5th Ave. We liked that the location was in the more authentic side of Playa del Carmen. We felt completely safe walking around at night. The apartment was perfect. The bed was comfortable and the kitchen was well equipped. The WiFi was very good and A/C worked well. It was a home away from home. The host was very responsive and they even let us checkout late because the room was free and we didn’t have a bus until late afternoon. Mucho gracias!

The street lamp outside was shining directly in the room. Lucky I had an eye mask but blackout curtains would be helpful :) The soundproofing isn’t the best. But all the good things about this apartment massively outweighs any bad.

Apartments were very well equipped (big fridge, dish, coffee maker with coffy, some basic foodstuff) and modernly furnishesld. The whole building made a very friendly impression. Small terrace/balkony included (each apartment) and a small roof top pool. The host is amazing! Very friendly and replies immediately to requests via messages. We were able to change the apartment/room, because we had one directly located to the street with a street light shining into the room (despite of roller shutters) and dogs barking during the whole night. Many thanks for that! About 10 minutes by feet to shopping street.

The surrounding area maybe not that nice for Europeans (not that clean and run down). There are many dogs and in the evening and night they bark.

During a few days, the neighbors had loud music playing for a big part of the night and was a bit difficult to fall asleep, but nothing related to the room or place.

Great place and really nice service by host. Not far from 5th Av and beach. It’s a walking distance (about 10-15 minutes, depending on if you go to 5th Av. or beach) but the streets you go through are safe and nice. Close to local restaurants and shops to include supermarket Chedraui. A garage is available.

Nothing to complain about.

Great facility, with an equipped kitchen, a nice space with the balcony with a walking distance to the center and from central station. They have allowed us to check out late and was super helpful for us! Thanks for your flexibility and hospitality 🙏🏾🌼

Everything was perfect

The property was very clean and comfortable.

It’s a little far away from the 5th avenue and Ferry Station (around 30min walking).

The apartment is small but comfortable it only takes 15 minutes to walk to the center of town , the beach is a little further but not a burden at all if you like walking. It was a great value with modern decor and everything you need but not overpriced like most of the apartments I researched. I would stay there again.

I really enjoyed staying here. Very convenient location. Gas stations, money exchange, local restaurants, and more within a few blocks radius. It’s about a 15 minute walk from 5th ave which is the main strip in Playa Del Carmen 100-145 pesos in a taxi depending on which part of 5th ave you are going. AC was great. Host was very receptive and responded quickly. I decided to extend my stay at the last minute and it was a smooth process. If you are looking for a nice, inexpensive place away from the busy tourist area, this is your place. Will definitely visit again.

No complaints.

I loved the location proximity. The condo was far enough way from 5th Ave that it was quite at night but close enough I could walk there and to the bus station everyday. Super mellow neighborhood but there were restaurants close by, an OXXO around the corner and the market was just a 10 min walk away. As a female solo traveler I felt safe enough that I was able to walk around at night, to and from 5th. Santiago was great; he responds quickly to all messages and there's usually a staff member there especially at night. My phone wasn't allowing me to call #'s in Mexico toward the end of my stay, and on my last day the rain was down pouring. When I asked Santiago if he could call a cab for me to take me to the bus station he was on it and the cab showed up within a several minutes. My room and facilities were really clean and has everything you need to make yourself comfortable. The patio was larger than I expected with seating plus a table with four chairs. I would definitely stay there again if I were to ever come back to Playa Del Carmen.

I wish the water temp for the shower got hotter.
