This place was clean! Hospital level clean! Not just my apartment but the whole interior. Comfortable and spacious accommodation. I love the neighborhood. Walking distance to the beach, the center, and the tourist area, but still a calm layed back neighborhood feel. Convenient access to public transportation, restaurants, and groceries.

I had to buy many things considering it was a one week stay. Dish towels, kitchen knife, sponge, cutting board, etc. I even had to buy my own toilet brush. But, it was worth it with 2 stores with housewares but a block away.

Nice for a short stay in Playa. Clean, comfy beds, good aircon. Nice towels and soap provided.

The property is located a little out of the way of the main tourist areas in Playa, although only roughly a 20 min walk. The toilet was not working during our stay, it was not filling with water so we had to fill the rubbish bin with water from the shower in order to flush - not ideal. Also the lack of on site staff is a bit annoying when I went to leave and didn't know what to do with the keys/no one to communicate with about toilet issue.

Clean and comfortable, easy self check-in and close enough to the centre but far enough that it is quiet! Great value for money if you’re planning on being out most of the time, and with a fan and A/C to cool down after a long day of adventures.

It's in a really nice neighbourhood , away from all the touristic insanity, but still pretty close to the beach and especially everything you need. A big supermarket is just a block away, so are 3 Lavanderias, a little supermarket just in front. The two Italians taking care of the place are just doing whatever they can to make you feel welcome and at home. Never met the owner. With a little creativity you can cook a nice meal for you and the neighbours. The bed is comfortable. Good water pressure.

The owner could take better care of the place, but the Italians there make up for it. If you want a five star experience, you have to pay for a five star experience ;)

Central location. While there was no staff on site full-time, issues I had were sorted very quickly. AC was on when I arrived. The refrigerator was cold, like beer ready

There was nowhere to sit outside with a beer. The information about logging onto WiFi was a little confusing at first.

Great location. Room basic yet clean. Self check-in. A perfectly fine place if you are not picky and will be spending most of your time out and about.

I really appreciate how clean the interior was kept and how safe I felt leaving my valuable things when I left the apartment. It was very very private which I really like. And the internet worked great which was good since I was working. Thank you for a great experience.

Very clean and modern, good location

A lot of loud, not well isolated

I’ve been warm heartedly welcomed with a smile from Liz! Check-in was super fast & easy. Accommodation is well equipped and comfortable. cleaning is your own responsibility which I recommended for everybody who want so safe money. The owner provides some basic cleaning stuff. I’ve felt very safe, it’s a great area with fast access to the center, beach and supermarket. Liz was incredible helpful and friendly with all my requests and I definitely will come back again!

I was surprised that this place didn’t have a higher rating. It was quite nice - clean, attractive, and in a great location. And the price is great for what you’re getting, especially in the Playa del Carmen area. They were really helpful letting us store our bags for the day and flexible when our schedule changed a few times.

My only complaint is that the shower water wasn’t quite hot. It wasn’t cold either, just not a temperature you’d luxuriate in.
