The staff were very nice and while the hotel is downtown Playa del Carmen, it is in a quiet area. It is your basic OYO hotel, clean comfy beds, reception and 24 hour security, daily housekeeping, free drinking water / coffee, hot showers with good water pressure, small fridge and very good internet. The person at reception spoke good English and went out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed. Good old Mexican hospitality!

I enjoyed the staff, they were so helpful and nice. I also liked the location, it was 4 blocks from 15th street, so easy access to everything, even a grocery store across the street. Best of all, as i've learned from staying closer to 15 th street it was a very quiet neighborhood, hard to find those two things together.

As with every hotel here, there are no channels with English or even subtitles in English. I had my tv on for 5 mins before i gave up. I still have all my online apps, Netflix, Amazon, Prime video. So that's a very minor issue. The only thing i wish the rooms had in them were a reading light by the bed, that would help a lot.

The last visit I made to Playa Del Carmen my hotel was noisy at night due to being near a club with booming music. My stay here at Quinta Santa Anita this was not the case, it was very quiet which I really appreciated and enjoyed. A highlight of my stay. Close to excellent food! Away from the busy and crowded areas of PDC.

The shower could have been better.

Overall, it was a good stay and based on the construction happening, I think it will be an excellent hotel in the very near future. Nice overall style, good location (close, but not too close to all the 'action'). WiFi was solid (in room) and was able to have a one hour web meeting with 5 people and no issues. Recommendation: eat at the vegetarian place across the street (even if you are a carnivore) - it's amazing.

As noted, the construction will really make this hotel great, but I had to deal with it so I guess that's the price of making improvements. Can't always win!

Most Staff was incredibly kind, attentive and helpful. From the clerk at the reception to the cleaning lady I felt much more than a walking Dollar$ Here you are at walkable distance to anything, just around the corner from the hotel there a two Mega stores that sell everything, the ADO bus station, the avenida 30 where all the collectivos/minivans pass, really nice restaurant (like the famous El Fogón)

I was at the 3d floor and they were doing building the 4th floor, they started hammering at 8am. The gentleman at the reception was very kind and I think it's the reason the next day they started a bit later.

The location is perfect, close to main roads and easy to walk. The receptionist is a very nice man.

The sink is too high and hard to use without getting wet. In general the room was clean but can be better

The room was lovely, big with two large comfortable beds. We stayed just for a night so I can't say much but the check in process and the location was great for us.

The bathroom could use a refurbishment as the wood was quite chipping away. A few mosquitos we had to battle but this was an overall issue in Mexico in general. Nothing really negative to say.

The staff is very friendly and helpful (we arrived late and they wanted for us) and the Location is excellent. Laundry bar is just around the corner and Ceiba bar for breakfast is 280 metars away and it’s an excellent option. Pharmacy and several supermarkets are close by and so is the beach and the pedesetima drag.

the triler flush was a little bit tricky and since we were arriving late we would have appreciated to have been able to organize the transfer with the property director

The location is perfect, just a short walk to the beach and 5th Avenue, really close to ADO bus station and the big grocery store. The wifi was working great. All the staff really kind and helpfull.

It could be more clean, the fridge wasnt warking, there were some mold in the bathroom and in the room.

Pleasant staff, close to the Mega supermaket. Also close to the ADO alterna bus station if travelling onwards by bus

The ground floor room next to the Reception was often noisy with early check outs and loud Mexican families at 6am. When making the booking, request an upper floor. A bedside lamp for reading would be nice
