The absolute best thing about this property is the rooftop pool. It’s the largest one in town, and makes a great big giant U shape, facing the ocean. There is a pool that has warm water with some jets, a cooler pool, a 3-inch deep pool for lounging in the shallows, and another pool that’s about chest-deep/ shallow. (No deep end in any pool). There is even shade in the pool in spots when you’re sunned-out. There are plenty of lounger beds, cushions and pillows, beach loungers, tables and chairs in shade. Not quite enough umbrellas for my liking because I could never get one. However, it was very quiet, never felt crowded, and extremely relaxing and therapeutic.

Never enough towels. The staff would take them when they cleaned the room, daily, and not replace them. I had to steal them off of the cart in hallway. The other annoyance was our AC would shut itself off in the middle of the night. We had to flip the breaker box in the room to kickstart it again.

Location is great - walking distance to the beach & not right on Quinta Avenida, so it's quiet. Rooftop is wonderful - 3 pools - 1 is heated with jets. You can purchase drinks & some food on the roof. Room was super clean. Modern building. Hot water (but never got super hot if that's your thing). AC worked great. Comfy bed. We also had a minor thing break in the room, and it was fixed immediately.

I'm not sure if all regular rooms are like this, but we didn't have a window. Well, it was a "window" that didn't open & faced internally into the building so we couldn't see outside or what the weather was like.... Also, our room was right next to what I think was a room for the cleaning crew. They would loudly slam the door to that room early in the mornings, so just make sure you don't get this room :). If I would stay here again I would pay extra for a larger room. We had the deluxe room.

No cleaning materials / dish cloths provided for Kitchen. Housekeeping didnt tidy up rooms properly, seems like a quick in and out rather than a proper clean. On check out we returned to our room for 11am to get our remaining things. Fortunately, we cleared out most of the room, as to our surprise we found housekeeping in the room already at 11am cleaning the room. My wife's phone had been removed from one of our bags and to our shock we found that one of the cleaners had removed it. We retrieved it from this staff, and reported incident to reception who said they would inform the manager. Just make sure you don't leave ANY valuables in the room, that aren't locked away in atleast the safe!

Facilities, Location, Ambience It's a fairly new building and the pool and gym are exceptional

Staff was a bit unprofessional and mostly young so maybe that's why... We asked for a couple of things a few times and either had a very long wait time (bathroom towels) or just didn't get it (iron in the room) Breakfast is served from 8am-12 noon and most tours leave before that because of the distances so it makes no sense and one of the days staff was late an breakfast was served from 930am with no apologies or explanation...everyone who was waiting just left and went to buy food

2bed apartment, very spacious, modern and comfortable. Super king bed and wrap around balcony. Very good gym Very nice pool and rooftop area, very spacious. Very good value for money Easy access to beach and shopping/restaurant areas.

Our stay definitely exceeded expectations. This is a new block of apartments/rooms in a lovely location of Playa del Carmen, away from all the madness of 5th Avenue. The bed was very comfy and the lounge/kitchen area was very well equipped and decorated beautifully. There is a lot of space and the balcony overlooking the sea was huge. The rooftop is amazing with three pools, lots of comfy beds and a bar with very cheap drinks for Playa - 35 peso beers and 70 peso margaritas. It is a few minutes walk from Calle 38 which has lots of lovely ‘Tulum-style’ restaurants and a craft brewery.

Hands down everything was incredible. The breakfasts are better than what is shown In The pictures. Very tasty food, Karen and Israel were fantastic with food and cocktails. Pools are incredible too. I know most bad reviews talk about the staff being not great or friendly, but apparently now the residences are under new management. Staff now are great.

The only thing we disliked was that the warner pool which is supposed to be a spa, is too cold at night. People like to use a spa at night, and considering how high up it is with constant cold winds blowing through, one can easily find itself freezing up there. Please turn up the spa temperature at night 🙏🏻

I thought the cleanliness was excellent in the rooms and building. The cleaning staff always appeared to be working which you could see great end results. Very clean!

When we first arrived we were given a room without a balcony (we paid for a room with a balcony). It took us 3 days to move to a room with a balcony. The elevator was out the first three days upon arrival in which we had to climb 4 levels of stairs this included our luggage upon arrival. It was not a good beginning! After numerous complaints to get a room with a balcony as was in my room details, we were moved on the third day. This room was much better and we stated to enjoy our vacation. The only other problem was hit water for showers kept going hot/cold. Hot water was also non existent in the kitchen/bathroom sink. The staff were excellent! Room was always cleaned!

Great place, we were so happy at Singular Dream. The position is A++, in a quiet location and easy, quick walk to 38th which is so good for all your restaurant needs. The pool is the best with full sunshine or shade depending on your choice until the sun goes down.

The wifi is fine, manageable but could be improved. It didn't work in one of the bedrooms at all. Showers are luke warm... but adequate. Food is only by cash by the pool which isn't convenient these days. Menu could be improved, pretty small options to choose. Breakfast also need more options.

We liked this place very much, we had spacious family rooms with separate bedrooms and kitchen. We also had breakfast which was also good served on the top floor. We especially liked the roof top pool which was really great. It was close to the beach and close to all the restaurants and shops. The staff were nice and helpful everything we needed they were ready to help. We had trouble with leak of water in our room so they switched our rooms promptly.

The building as such has aparently some technical problems. During our 5 day stay we experienced 2 leaks of water. First in our room (we changed the room afterwards) and second was in the hallway few days later. Everything was fixed quickly but looking at the ceilings we could say these problems happen often. But they are ready to solve them. The Cleanliness on the first sight was everything nice and clean the only thing that needs to be cleaned immediately are the decorative pillows, throws and the upholstery and sofas. In the first apartment it was really bad, in the second not so bad, but needs to be cleaned.
