The location was one block off of the pedestrian Avenida 5, which made walking into the center very easy. However, it is far enough from the busiest zone that it was quiet and peaceful at night. There were multiple breakfast eateries within a few blocks in addition to restaurant at hotel. Water was available in the lobby to keep our own water bottles filled. We enjoyed the rooftop pool area also. This hotel is a good value.

Friendly, good value for money, super cute rooftop pool + lounge area. Super cute small restaurant with delicious breakfast menu although not many options. They offer non dairy milk like soy and almond milk. Reception is friendly and speaks proper English. I was checked in earlier for no extra fee. Quiet area within walking distance of shops and beach.

The location in not the best, but really fine after all. It’s 2-3 minutes walk into a “less trendy and dirty neighbourhood”. But like I said on the advantages it’s walking distance from everything you need so nothing to worry about

Quite okay location, close enough to 5th avenue but still away from the hassle, clean and quite fine. Biciplaya citybike station just next to the hotel for easy bike pick up and drop off. Walking distance to Playa 72 Pool at the rooftop was fine, quite small but works for cooling.

Wifi on the rooftop never worked. Told the staff about it but after a week it was still not working. Room with balcony was not what I was expecting, only a french balcony and not big enough to fit in there to spend any time.

I stayed there 4x already love the location away from the hustle and bustle. Amenities are great!

The receptionist Luna was very rude. I don’t speak fluent Spanish however she told another person that I had everything I needed in my room and didn’t let me ask my question. All I needed was a facecloth. Never said hi to us as we entered and barely smiled. If she doesn’t want to work in the tourism industry she should change jobs. I am not a complicated and needy customer. The young man at night and the red hair girl are always extremely welcoming and helpful. The ease to rent the bikes from the hotel is a huge plus!! I love them both. I unfortunately cannot say the same for Luna.

Basic but comfortable place to stay for a few nights in Play Del Carmen. Perfectly situated to walk onto 5th Avenue, which is just a few minutes walk away. Close walk to the beach and nice to have a voucher for a lounger at one of the beach clubs included with our stay. Nice touch having microwave and hot/cold water available in the foyer. We enjoyed our stay.

Bathroom smell was really bad during our first night. Don't think it helped closing it in. When the cleaners came in the next day they sorted it out for us. Actually helped keeping the door open.

It was reasonably priced. I did not want a resort as I was there for Scuba Diving. The Boutique Italian/Pizza Restaurant is very good although a little overpriced. The Rooftop Bar, Patio & Pool is very nice. I had 2 days on Holbox with just day luggage. They held my main heavier baggage securely until I got back for the rest of the stay. The bathroom in the rooms is nice & modern for a reasonably priced property. I enjoyed my stay. Friendly staff making it a nice place to stay. The mini-bar prices are very reasonable for a hotel in the rooms.

There is no table or chairs on the balconies. That is a big let down on a vacation when wanting to sit & chill on an evening. No fridge on the rooftop, so to have a beer it needs to be kept in the room fridge & hence have beer on the balcony is a better option. The Pizza Restaurant is overpriced, although very good pizzas. There isn’t a lot of storage facilities within the rooms. That needs to be improved in my opinion, but not a showstopper type item.

Great front desk staff, really helpful and kind. Comfortable bed, clean room, view of the sea, close to the 5th Ave tourist strip and a few blocks from the beach. About a 30 minute walk to ferry via 5th, which was fun with all the shops- anything you need is close. Beware, lots of tourist trap businesses around but also some gems. Beach about 10 minute walk away, beach club pass gets you into a fun spot! Roof terrace and pool clean, relaxing, and private. Free coffee, tea, and fruit in the lobby. Restaurant below is good, and reasonably priced.

Heard talking from another room on last day, not bad enough to use provided earplugs, just annoying. Any other sounds were typical to staying in any city. Had read reviews saying it is close to Ado station,it is not. It's about a 30 minute walk, or 150 peso taxi. Shower water stopped when the toilet was flushed.

The hotel is away from the 5th avenue but still reachable within 5min walking distance. You get to have the pleasure of being close but without the noise of the 5th avenue.

The only thing was that towels and bed sheets were lightly stained, nothing we couldn’t use though.

I liked the location, it was quieter and less touristy than other other parts of Playa It is near some good places to eat ( Crisol , Le Petit Choux) The staff were very friendly / welcoming .

Pool out if service 4/5 of our days. We were able to use pool in Balcon ( same chain) on same road but not exactly as comfortable to have to walk to another building. Balcony pool area possibly nicer though… and cheaper
