I absolutely loved the hotel. Every corner was appealing to the eye. The hotel ambiance was calm just perfect for adults that aren’t there to scream and party. It is a very sophisticated hotel. The food was pricey (American prices) but delicious. The ceviche was so fresh! The avocado toast was great, the kale Cesar salad was an experience! The staff - every single member was amazing. Very kind and helpful ! The waiters were so attentive with food allergies, the front desk explained every detail! The housekeepers were so kind! The pool workers would say good morning every day! One of the prettiest hotels I have ever visited! The ruins are walking distance! The ruins were so cool! They have local shops there and local food. It was nice to visit. Felt more like real Mexico than other areas. The sister hotel is nice - mezzanine- it has good Thai food and wonderful staff. The access to the beach was just a 7 min walk.

I did not like the room where I stayed it was so extremely noisy. I hardly slept the entire stay. Room 20 was so loud. All night I could hear noise That was so difficult. I told the front desk they said they would get back to me but never did.

Great location in a national park, where there are only a few other hotels. First i was a bit in doubt if it was too far from the hotel zone and Tulum centre, but tbh, Tulum centre is not worth visting and the hotel zone is for party people. If you are looking for a relaxing, beautiful place with a not so crowded beach nearby, then this is the perfect hotel. The staff is friendly (especially Alberto & Rick ;) ) the pool and cabanas are beautiful and the food is delicious, especially the breakfast, juices and drinks. It is walking distance to the Tulum ruins, which is a plus :) we loved our stay and I would highly recommend staying here.

The walls are thin and the windows are only single glased, so if you are a light sleeper ( as I am ...) then bring ear plugs.

I stayed for 2 days and had an amazing time at this hotel. I also got a great deal at ~$125 per night, which felt like a steal for Tulum and this beachfront location. The hotel is absolutely beautiful and peaceful. I didn't want to leave its grounds. The cabanas were lovely and I spent a lot of time just chilling in them, watching and listening to the sound of the ocean. The staff were lovely, too. The room was small, but clean with little touches. The bathroom was quite nice. overall, this place felt like a luxurious oasis. If I were to come back to Tulum (which I would not because it's an unpleasant scammy place that feeds off scamming tourists left and right), I would definitely stay in this hotel!

Very few things: (1) the mattress in the room was not super comfortable - I'd expect more for a 4-star hotel, (2) the food in the restaurant was decent, but overpriced. But that's not just this hotel, that's all of Tulum. The food in Tulum on the beach is a bad value: overpriced for what you get.

The room I got was "pool side" room and it was spacious, convinient and beautiful, with a beautiful bathroom and beautiful view. The service was great and they brought complimentary tea in the afternoon. The restaurant in the hotel is expensive (similar prices of typical Tel Aviv restraunts) but the food was very very good!

The hotel over all space and pool area was very disappoingly small. From the pictures I thought there would be a large pool to hang around, but the pool is tiny, not really for swimming. The location of the hotel is in a natural reserve area which makes it not accessible for casual transportation (because you need to pay to get into the reserve area) so accessing night clubs or Tulum resorts required very very expenside taxi rides. Also the hotel does not offer access to the beach. You need to walk 5 minutes to another hotel where you can access the beach.

The accommodation was beautifully decorated, and the dining area, Ocean area, pool, and lobby were also very fancily adorned. It was great to be able to use the pools at nearby sister hotels that are part of the SLH membership. The reception staff were very professional and friendly.

An additional 415 Mexican pesos per person was required to enter Jaguar Park.(in March 2025)Once inside, everything was cleanly organized, free golf carts were provided, and it wasn’t crowded, which was nice. However, the entrance fee has recently increased several times, making it feel unreasonably expensive. To avoid confusion, it would be better to include it in the hotel price altogether. When I was in the room, it was bothersome because the stairs creaked loudly whenever other guests went up them.

Everything thing is fantastic. The food is expensive but incredibly delicious. Samual the restraint manager makes a wonderful cocktail. The Aperol spritz was our favorite.

i wish there was direct beach/swimming access at the hotel, but the sister hotel just Mezzanine is just a short walk away and has a great beach and swimming.

It was lovely being in the national park and the staff were great! Being in the national park meant we could visit the ruins and beaches really easily. It was nice to hire bikes and cycle around these areas. It was also nice to wake up to the sound of the waves and be right by the sea. We also asked to borrow yoga mats and as we had the sea view apartment we could look right at the view while excersising! We also got some tea every night delivered to our room which was very nice

There were some things that might need updating/renewing. Maybe breakfast included in the stay/treat for honeymoon would have been welcome. But overall great experience and amazing view/area as taxis are very expensive in Tulum but really you want to stay in/around the park as there is a lot to do around here. So to avoid taxi costs it’s better to stay here!

The staff, the pool area, it was very intimate, very cute hotel

The price is too much high, the location of the hotel is in the park area which makes it harder to enter the hotel. Also we could not flush toilet paper which was quiet uncomfortable.

The miss luxury hotel I've ever been in, at a very good price (I could use a promotion). The basics are all there: comfortable bed, large room, well furnished bathroom with good shower, many electrical outlets, decent WiFi. And then there are the little extras that make it special, like the beds on the shore or the tea they bring to your room in the evening (a different kind of tea for every day). And if course super helpful staff and great views. Oh, and a good restaurant.

The nearest beach is a five minute walk. Best cool off in the hotel swimming pool before leaving for the beach. The nearest beach isn't good for snorkeling, you have to go two kilometres farther for that. Since Tulum only has electricity half the day, the hotel has its own generator which is very noisy. Fortunately we could hear it only in the bathroom, in the room itself it's very quiet. It's a pity they don't (or can't) put solar cells on all the roofs.
