Nice room, comfortable, clean, nice A/C and a wonderful host who fed us a wonderful breakfast every morning. She is very helpful telling you about places to visit, ways to get there; she goes the extra mile.

In Merida the Public transport (bus or Va y Ven) routes all end and/ or start closed to the City market which is about 8 blocks from property, you can ride the bus but you still have to walk few more blocks to Center. Several bus lines stops are across the street. This is more of a City issue, the area where property is located is safe so it is easy to walk to Center where are most of the attractions, restaurants & bus terminal to ride to Progreso Beach and other destinations.

What a gem!! Time spent at Isabel’s lovely home will be cherished. My upstairs room was so comfortable and clean. Spacious. Windows opening over a front patio, ceiling fan, and a/c when needed. The back rooftop is a lovely space for yoga or daydreaming. The pool is so nice for a warm day’s dip! Isabel’s breakfast time’s were so nice, spent chatting with her and other guests. When my flight got delayed and I rescheduled for the next day, Isabel welcomed me back. Felt like I was home. What a gem of a homestay! The house is about a 20 minute walk to the center of town.

Isabel is a wonderful host; caring, attentive, and very personable. Our stay was positively memorable. Our room was big, the beds were clean and comfortable and we appreciated the private bathroom. There’s lots of outdoor space for relaxation too! Excellent value!

We absolutely loved staying at Casa 44...Isabel, Mathias and Luna the dog were so welcoming. Our room was very comfortable. The house is just charming and we loved the magical garden. Breakfast was so tasty and delicious!!!!! It was a wonderful experience and Isabel gave us great advice on places to visit. The Santa Barbara cenote park was so fantastic. We really liked the location and used our walks into the centre to explore the markets by nearby. As others have mentioned taxi journeys are affordable and useful when it's too hot. Thankyou so much!😄😄😄😄

Isabel welcomed us to her home where she rents out few rooms. It was a real experience of living in Merida's typical house, enjoying a breakfast prepared by our host.

While the upper floor room was very cozy and spacious, the ground floor was rather noisy since it opens directly to the street, you need to use earplugs if you are sensitive.

Big and comfortable room with a private bathroom just outside the room. Nice terrace. A/C and wifi work fine. Close to the center, shops, and restaurants. Good breakfast. Isabel, very pleasant host.

Isabelle, Matias & Luna the dog were the best hosts. So welcoming so much insight and information to the area, so much fun. Felt like a home away from home. We hope Matias had the best birthday. Thank you so much for everything. Xx

Very welcoming host and guests during our stay. City center within walking distance albeit a bit of a hike. Lovely family atmosphere.

The hosts were amazing, and breakfast was out of this world compared to what we expected. Great place for a quick stop in Merida, and would definitely recommend anyone to use this place for a visit.

Cold do with more pillows (or new ones) as they were very flat, but we went to the supermarket and purchased our own as we are in Mexico for a few months. Otherwise we cannot fault this place, and again the hosts were fabulous.

The room was spacious and the bathroom was inside the room! I liked everything.
