Very quiet and convenient location, easy to walk to sites and it felt very safe. Enjoyed the Park beside it.The staff was very helpful and friendly and they spoke fluent English. Loved the pool and garden. Would absolutely recommend this hotel which I chose after much research. It is certainly the place for a good sleep and restful respite. Exceeded expectations.

Hotel is well located a short (no more than 10min walk) from the main plaza in a quiet area that felt safe. The rooms are set around the pool and courtyard with lovely plants that is pleasant to sit out in in the evening. The room was spacious with hot water and TV, fan and a/c. I found it to be very quiet and was not disturbed by any noise from other guests during my stay. The owner was very helpful and friendly and there was even free coffee in the mornings. Wifi throughout the reception and in the rooms. I would definitely stay here again, a very pleasant stay, stayed three nights.

The owner Alejandro and the staff were so nice, helpful when needed, always respectful and with the best attitude. Close to many plazas, restaurants, museums, shopping and other nice places just walking, no need for busses or taxis. It includes hot breakfast: fruit, bread, coffee, orange juice and a selection of eggs, omelettes or chilaquiles. Definitely we will return.

Hair dryer would be a plus in the room

We loved the location: a short walking distance to the Centro and to the newly opened La Plancha park. The small hotel is spotless and well kept, including the pool and surrounding area. Staff members were great and there was complimentary drinking water as well as coffee in the morning. We also appreciated the small patio table & chairs outside our room and those in the lounge area by the pool. The rooms are large with excellent AC & hot water + mini fridge, ceiling fan, and safe box. We’d stay here again in a heartbeat. No complaints!

Good location very close to the big park and restaurants. Stores and the city center are nearby. The hotel was very well kept and clean. We had daily cleaning and the staff was friendly. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean. There is a small pool and there is also an area to sit and have coffee or a drink. We had a nice stay and would stay again.

Pleasant hotel with a friendly staff. Rooms are comfortable, large and clean. There is good water pressure and the beds and pillows are comfortable. AC works like a dream. I also appreciated that the staff paid attention to a note I had put with my booking requesting a quiet room. They put us in the room furthest from the street. The reception also arranged for a taxi to the airport at quite an early hour and had some suggestions/recommendation for us on what to do in Merida. Very friendly people, even when language is a barrier!

The hotel seemed quite unoccupied in general ...maybe because it is on the pricier end of things and a little far away (10 minute walk) from the more happening centro. The Mejorada square seemed a little quiet and a tad shady in the evenings by comparison (although not unsafe).

-Breakfast options were limited but filling. -Room was spacious with all the expected amenities. -Staff were friendly, professional and welcoming. -Location was convenient with easily walkable access to the Historic Centro.

The swimming pool and the indoor garden were absolutely wonderful! Many plants and good vibes. The stuff, despite the little English, was super helpful and kind.

We didn’t have enough shampoo for the three of us, but we didn’t ask to have some extra. If we would, I’m sure we would have got some extra bottles.

We loved the style and ambient of this colonial villa. It is huge space with nice area around a pool (it is clean!) to chill. It is located in quit area and yet close to the main plaza with main touristics attractions.

Lack of hair dryer. No free parking place but plenty of public places to park and owner arranged very convenient parking places near to the hotel to park (150 pesos / day)

Location, staff and recommendations for restaurants, tours, etc. from the owner/manager were all excellent.

Only one minor thing would have made it better - a mat for when you step out of the shower. :-)
