The staff was great - and Israel who checked us in - let us enter the room early which was great. Super comfortable room that had great A/C - which you need in Mérida even in January! Nice TV. Spacious room and hot shower. Spotlessly CLEAN every day. And it is an easy walk to the center city, the cathedral, and many good restaurants. The "Va y Ven" Airport bus stops only 2 blocks away at the Santa Lucia park. Breakfast was plenty for us and you have a choice of breakfast items plus coffee, fruit, bread and such. Very nice.
It was super quiet the first two nights but on the third night, a bar or disco had a boom boom disco that could be heard in the room until 1 AM. But that is not the fault of the hotel.

The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Even though we arrived very early, they did everything possible to let us check in and get our room. Parking was also quick and easy. I had to take care of some tasks during my stay, and the staff kindly helped me print and scan documents, which I really appreciated. They also assisted in arranging a taxi for me. The room was spacious and clean, and the location was excellent. We stayed in a ground-floor room, which had a charming view of the old house. I personally did not find it noisy, especially in the evenings when it was quiet. I sincerely thank the staff for their friendliness and kindness.

The reception stuff so kind, so helpful! Made everything so easy and smooth. It’s quiet rare you find that to be honest..
It’s very quiet on the property, the only thing is that there are open air parts in the rooms, so if late night some guests are loud, I would suggest offering earplugs beforehand:) also it would be nice to have more clean cups, and cutlery during the breakfast, because there was lack. Even though the ladies would immediately clean some up and bring them out at request. I guess we were visiting at high season during the Holy Week, so that could be understandable. But also super helpful kitchen staff and very kind.

We liked the location and the colonial vibe of the place. The room was spacious and clean. The location in the city center is a mixed blessing as some street noise and music from nearby restaurants could be heard. Yet it is only 5 minute walk to the main squares and there are plenty of restaurants around.
We had to change the room due to unbearable smell from the bathroom drainage of some super strong detergent that would not go away the whole day and night. The new room was much better. The breakfast is so basic that it doesn't make sense to offer it.

We had a great stay. The room was fine, chose the most inexpensive one and it was fine. The place itself looks nice, a small secluded place in the middle of the city. Location was perfect. The receptionist, if I'm correct his name is Israel, was great and very helpful! We extended our stay here. Breakfast was good.
If we would ever stay here again we would book one of the nicer rooms. The rooms are not very isolated, so you can hear everything in the hallway, fortunately it was quiet when we were there.

Hotel is located near the town centre and many nearby restaurants within walking distance. Staff friendly and helpful. Our is cleaned everyday and towels replaced daily. Beds are comfortable.
Other hotel guests are a bit noisy at night by the poolside. It would be good for hotel staff to remind guests to be more quiet. Bathroom drainage flow is very slow.

The hotel overall is very nice. The family room was very spacious, and the beds were very comfortable. The pool is small but located in a pleasant courtyard. For breakfast, there are several options to choose from. The hotel is centrally located, and the main areas of the town can be reached within a few minutes on foot.
Although the room was ready, we had to wait until exactly 3:00 p.m. to check in. The drain in the shower gave off a strong odor.

Lovely traditional looking hotel with a nice pool in the middle Great location with everything we wanted to see within walking distance
Breakfast was a bit haphazard. Tables hadn't always been cleared and breakfast items such as hot water/coffee, etc. not always replenished. It wouldn't put us off coming back though. Our room was next to the road so it was a bit noisy at night but you could just turn up our aircon to drown it out or use earplugs.

The hotel offers a very nice atmosphere since the antique building is in good refurbished shape. The small pool is small but refreshing so you can cool down from the hot and humid weather. The breakfast is good consisting of a continental buffet and Mexican dishes. The rooms are nice and clean. Theocation is very central, safe but not loud. The staff is very friendly.
the pool is fairly small and due to ist location in the middle of the courtyard very prominent.

The pictures of the courtyard are accurate! It’s a beautifully maintained building. It’s a treat to be able to walk through the main entrance and through the courtyard all the time. The pool is small but I never saw more than 1 group at a time. The location is great to see and eat everything near Centro. We didn’t need to take a taxi anywhere.
Might be room dependent but it is extremely noisy starting from like 7am in the morning due to breakfast service. All the old style openings in the walls for airflow probably help sound travel. I’m usually not sensitive to sound but I was woken up 3-4 time every morning from loud noises or talking that felt like they were right outside our window. If you need to sleep in for any reasons maybe try to ask for a room far from that area.
