I liked that it was close to the Centro without being inconvenient. We passed by another place with loud music playing and I'm grateful that this place was actually super quiet considering the location.

I did not like that we had to walk down the street and around the corner to get to breakfast. No shade to Hotel San Juan...my beef was with the cafe that served breakfast. While the breakfast looked appealing, the chilaquiles are geared more towards a European palate and were surprisingly bland. The only other time this happened was in Cuba in the fancier restaurants where food lacked savoriness.

The room was very comfortable (bed, shower, AC, etc). The fact that it had private parking was VERY useful because it's hard to park in that central part of Mérida. Although we didn't use it, the pool seemed very nice and might be very useful in hot weather.

The only bad aspect of this place is that it is very close to a bar that has the music very loud until late. We stayed during the weekend, not sure if it's like that all week.

location was great, was able to walk everywhere in a short distance. close to the markets, town center and restaurants. the rooms were clean and it was not loud at night.

would of been great if there was a coffee maker in the room or a little fridge for leftovers and to keep water cold. but not a requirement

There was an extra 1000 pesos we had to pay on arrival aside from the booking.com fees and what the website listed would be extra taxes etc. It was a nice place but if our group had known it would be 1000 pesos more expensive than was listed we would have found somewhere else to stay

This is the second time we stayed here and overall I really like the hotel. A special shout out to the lady and gentleman at the front desk who helped us with our lost phone. If we would not have had their help, we would have never gotten it back. Thank you!

It was a little noisy. There was a group of people staying in the hotel that were in the courtyard around 2am and back at 8 am. Woke the whole place up with no regard to the time.

The room was a great size with a nice view of the pool and easy access to anything I needed. Bed and pillows were comfortable. Housekeeping super kind and attentive. Shower pressure good. Loved the option of fan or AC. Loved the outdoor decor and quick access to food across the street and dancing next door. And the travelers that stayed there were all pretty social, so it was a really nice experience all around.

The rooms don't have a safe, fridge, microwave, or coffee pot. Not a huge deal, but a surprise. None-the-less I loved my experience and plan to stay at the hotel property when I return. It was lovely.

There is a bar next door so can be loud music. Really loud when they began but got less once tuned up. Also the lighting in the room is very bright but a bandana over the wall fixture solved that

The pictures reflect the hotel. This hotel is very clean. The staff at the front desk are helpful and everyone works hard. The swimming pool is clean and a good temperature and wonderful on a hot day. The beds are the best I’ve slept in as a traveler. There was always hot water in the shower. It’s a good location near the centro and downtown. You can walk to el mercado and bus stations. There are very good restaurants across the street and nearby. The a/c and fan both work well. There are seating areas for eating/chatting around the pool and there are several beach chairs as well. Sofia at the front desk speaks English and is helpful as are all the staff. Its a very good place to stay…if you don’t mind the music next door at night.

The hotel is wonderful but there is a loud social club next door. The music is loud. Very loud. Bring earplugs or listen to your own music. Ask at the front desk to let the manager of the club know it’s too loud and they will turn the music down. Don’t hesitate to ask.

Very clean room, outdated for sure, but it’s giving a good rustic vibe. Location is great. Good choices for breakfast.

Bathroom needs a makeover, but everything was functional. Breakfast is at another location, not far from hotel.

Friendly staff, clean rooms, nice pool, perfect location half a block to a plaza with good outdoor restaurants.

As clean as it was, we had a little issue with some tiny ants on our first day noticed them on the bathroom sink. Staff were really helpful and disinfected. They seem to do their best to keep it clean but is definitely an old building and some things do look old. But for the price, location, and friendly staff I was happy with my stay.
