All the facilities were comfortable and suitable to their intended use. The location could not have been better in Centro. Room was spacious and comfortable. AC was great and the availability of hot water in a tropical climate was an added bonus.

It would have been nice to have had in-room refrigeration for my snacks, etc. Also, it would have been nice to have had a safe in the room to store my passport and other valuables when I left. Of course, I never had reason to question the honesty or integrity of those working in the hotel.

Location, location, location. Short walk to the city's main park, shopping, open market. Talk about ambience! Now, this isn't a new hotel, but it's comfy and close to everything in the downtown area. Don't expect modern, but do expect comfort. The swimming pool makes for a fun or relaxing time! There's an attached coffee shop you can get pastries or full breakfast. Excursion vans pick you up in front of the hotel. Staff was friendly and helpful.

To get to rooms, you need to walk up stairs.

The hotel has some old world charm but is a little rough around the edges as you might expect for an old hotel. The beds were comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful. Some staff do speak some english which is helpful at times. There is a restaurant and coffee shop built into the hotel which is convenient. The location is good for tourist sites and also a short walk to the glitzy part of Merida. All things considered its a good value for the money.

The staff were wonderful, very polite, very helpful, and accomodate any requests we had. The room and facilities were very clean! The Márago Café is wonderful, great food, super tasty and well done.

The room was clean but we had to ask for a lamp, only had overhead lighting. The shower was clean but the bathroom floor got wet, maybe a shower curtain would've have helped.

I recently stayed at a hotel in Mérida and was thoroughly impressed. The location is fantastic—just a short walk from the Zócalo and the main square, which made exploring the city incredibly convenient. The staff were exceptionally friendly and included arranging taxi services for us. Overall, this hotel offers a prime location and attentive service, making it a great choice for anyone visiting Mérida.

The hotel is just in the very Center of Merida and close to all main sightseeings. Very beautiful lobby and pool area. Very friendly, helpful and prompt staff. Spacious and quiet room.

My two kids (7 and 9 years old) and i had a room with queen beds. The queen bed is narrow enough and suits only for one child or adult. We always have impression that the hotel tries to save every penny: minimum towels, soaps, furniture.

Nice hotel in lovely old house. Great location in Calle 60 in the centre of Merida. Wifi and air con in room worked well. There was some work going on but it was generally quiet. Comfy beds.

Room a bit small compared to newer modern 4* hotels but it is in a nice old historic building. Room was still perfectly comfortable for one but might seem a little bit cozy for two, if you are used to big hotel rooms.

The hotel is very beautifully designed in a colonial well maintained building, especially the entrance area is very nice. People working in this hotel are very guest oriented. Veryone is trying their best to make your stay nice. The location is the best, it is the center of everything, all important sightseeings, best restaurants are all 1-2 blocks away. It has a very nice pool with a good atmosphere, which we enjoyed daily. In front of our room there were chairs and a table to rest, you will have a very nice view. The breakfast place working together with the hotel is inside the hotel and has nice interiors. Many good breakfast and lunch places near by. Even with problems like bathroom ect, we still think this is the best hotel all in all we stayed in Mexico. We had a great time here! Thank you for all your kindnesses!

Room itself is rather small, beds were narrow, bathroom very strangely designed... cleaning wasn't good. Shower is very poor on water pressure and the bathroom easily flooded if anyne showers... the bathroom is just so badly done, such a shame for this beautiful building. Windows can't be opened... fresh air only through the door. The restaurnat offering the breakfast is a little problem, as the service perosnal would perfer to service non-hotel guets, due to the possible tipps, Hotel gusts been treated second class guests. But as it is not part of the hotel, just book without breakfast.

The staff were friendly and helpful, the rooms were clean, the beds were comfortable, and the location was excellent.

There are lots of stair and no elevator. I couldn't manage the stairs, and the room I was in the first night faced was upstairs facing the street and was quite noisy. However, after one night they moved me to a quiet room on the mezzanine and it was a delightful stay after that.

We could have spent our valuable vacation time, asking around town about the cenote tour, but instead just bought it from the front desk, and enjoyed it immensely. The room was HUGE and the pool was good too.

Some rooms had a fridge, but ours did not. They said we could change, but it was not important enough to bother. I wish they had information on the Maya Train departure times.
