Perfect location! Couple blocks from Plaza Grande which is always booming with activity. Bed was firm and extremely comfy. Room was nothing fancy but functional. Pool was perfect. Clean and private. You could do short laps and hang out. Staff was friendly, professional and always there to help out. There is a nail salon right next door. Chaya Maya restaurant across the street. But in any direction you will find restaurants, nightclubs and walkable coffee shops ( Most coffee shops open at 8am but Chaya Maya and the Economy Buffet open earlier.) Shopping galore in any direction. The infamous open market was a few blocks away. This hotel is pretty but not fancy. My AirBnb didn't work out so I went on Booking.com and got a great rate. It's quiet at night. It's historical. I'm happy with my stay here. There's even a bus stop a few steps away. The AutoProgresso is not far (bus to Progresso Beach). Plenty of history surrounding the area.

TV didn't have major apps like netflix, etc but that's not really why you come here. Pool closes st 9pm.

My daughter liked the pool. We all love the location. Really close to La Chaya Maya who opens at 7am. The hotel also had tours you can book with them but they were not pushy about it. If you book with them the tours will pick you up right at the hotel. They also said that they could help get us a car rental at a special price but since we had already booked and paid for a car rental from somewhere else we didn't use this service. They do have irons but you have to ask for it at the front desk.

The doors had cracks so the mosquitoes got in but there was window screens so you can open the window without letting the mosquitos in. Blackout curtain on the windows would be really nice. They were nice enough to move us to the first floor and in the back corner away from the streets after the 1st night but the courtyard still had a lot of lights on. They allowed us to shut some of the lights when we went to sleep. The top part of the door to our room kept opening up. No mosquito net on this part. Could use more hanging space for towels or other wet things to dry. Had a hard time controlling the temperature of the water in the shower (very hot showers).

Charming old hotel, perfect location close to the zocalo and in walking distance from everything (unless you’re allergic to walking), including Paseo de Montejo and its nice cafés. Lots of cafés and restaurants around - for instance the famous Chaya Maya right across the street on the opposite corner and the 24-hour open Café Habana on the next corner.

It’s very dated and the room wasn’t cared for. A bit of paint could make a difference. The floor in the shower was declining away from the drain, flooding the room - hopeless! Also, the floor wasn’t very clean neither in the room nor in the bathroom.

Very nice and surprisingly quiet hotel in the heart of Merida! We stayed here for a week and everything was perfect - the staff was very sweet and helpful, the rooms are beautiful, spacious and kept very clean. Location is super central and the hotel is surrounded by great bars and restaurants, as well as the main attractions in Merida. The parking is off premises but it’s super safe and we had no issues. All in all - we were so happy to stay here!

There parking situation was a fiasco. I paid 300 pesos for parking because the hotel’s 5 spaces were used up. That is what I was told the first night. The second night I came back to hotel to park, had to park in a paid lot, walk to hotel for someone to escort me to their parking lot. We walk to my car and that lot has closed its doors and my car is stuck in side. Total waist of my time and money.

Location is very close to the centre. Very big room. Beautiful old setting. Lovely female receptionist who was very helpful.

Parking instructions were complicated ( or the young guy on Reception couldn't explain them clearly enough) so we ended up paying for a public carpark which was conveniently located almost opposite the hotel. Room was very dark. Nowhere to hang up damp towels. But lovely old setting.

Very central clean. The lady at the reception were so so helpful. I had trouble with bookaway who canceled my bus ticket to Cancun 3 hours before my departure they helped so much. Value for money and it is so central it’s the best. I have no hésitions to recommander this hotel

No possibility to make a coffee that would be a great asset

The location is just three blocks from the main square and within walking distance of Paseo Montejo. The room is big and comfortable. The staff is helpful and gave us good recommendations for walking around. Overall, it is an excellent value for money and what you would expect from this kind of hotel. All good.
