Service was excellent, they were really helpful in everything. Except this the resort was huge and really luxury. It's worth for everything.

The food

It’s a very beautiful property in a great location of Portonovi. The rooms and hotel facilities are brand new, the beach is sandy, F&B options are fantastic. The service is great. A must see in Montenegro.

Be aware of Portonovi rooms are facing a parking area and the main hotel entrance which can be very uncomfortable at times. I would recommend to book at least a Bay view room.

We loved everything about it, literally. Amazing setting, design, staff… Special kudos to Aleksandar, Chief Concierge.

Room service staff is excellent, while the kitchen sent us cold food, steak was too well done and dry, burger was bright bloody red, while both were ordered medium. Roasted tomato soup was excellent every time we ordered in (even though it was also delivered cold on that day).

Beautiful hotel Wonderful service

This is an excellent hotel especially if you’re traveling with kids. The service was impeccable and the staff were always so friendly and so personable. They really made our family feel welcome. The rooms are big and gorgeous. Facilities excellent. Truly a magical stay. All food for kids under four was complimentary which was very nice, and the kids club is excellent with the most lovely ladies running it.

This was truly a five star hotel however the price of food in the restaurants was just way too high, even for a hotel of this calibre. A cheeseburger and fries was €40, and it only went up from there. We never ate at Tapasaki as we hadn’t heard positive reviews of the food from other guests. Portonovi port is a five minute walk from the hotel, with brand new infrastructure and delicious restaurants at reasonable prices.

What truly sets this hotel apart is the combination of exceptional people and an extraordinary setting. Together, they created a perfect stay we’ll never forget.

Staff should be way more professional and knowledgeable for this type of hotel. They were all kind but not on the level of five star hotel. The waitress didnt know the difference between latte and cappuccino. They didnt even ask us how was your stay at the checkout, nothing. just gave us bills to pay and said goodbye. I had a lunch in my room, bolognese were extremely oily, couldn’t eat it. Our bedroom window, next to bathtub was extremely dirty.

Beautiful hotel, location & ground. The rooms themselves are stunning, especially the large bathroom. Breakfast was also a stand out and the breakfast staff were really warm & friendly. Highly recommend Tapasake for dinner, incredible food and wonderful service! Also took a private boat trip to see the submarine tunnels & blue cave - really enjoyable & was easily planned by WhatsApp with the hotel staff.

We had a few issues with the electrics in our room. First night lights didn’t work, got fixed. Final night, happened again including air con not working - didn’t want to bother the staff again so just left it. Bit inconvenient but not the end of the world - these things happen. Another small complaint would be lack of service in the bar, we sat for around 25minutes, nobody was around for about 10-15 minutes then took another 10+ minutes to come and ask us if we would like a drink - we felt a bit awkward.

Overall, the One&Only Portonovi is an exceptional retreat that combines luxury, comfort, and personalized service. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable stay in Montenegro.

One thing that could be improved, however, is the variety of dining options. While the food quality is fantastic, I felt there was a limitation in the number of restaurants available. For a longer stay, having more variety in dining choices would have been ideal to keep things fresh and exciting.

1) large, opulent rooms with beautiful views and intricate details; 2) scenic and peaceful location within the Portonovi marina, offering a selection of restaurants & beach clubs nearby; 3) nice breakfast with a mix of a la carte and buffet options

1) a rather inconsistent service provided by the hotel staff, often lacking finesse and not providing guests with a complete peace of mind (eg we were not even offered a glass of water upon arrival let alone the customary welcome drink), the staff seemed to be puzzled even by such a simple task as arranging transportation to the nearby town or by a question about the bar’s opening hours; 2) poor value for money when it came to sightseeing (there wasn’t even a printed out brochure detailing the experiences or a professional English speaking guide)
