We got upgraded to a room with a great view to the sea/bay. The place was extremely clean, the room was comfortable and even offered free tea and instant coffee. They were also kind enough to let us do a later check out since we had a bus at 1pm. It also has a great location being at walkable distance to the beach, old center and bus station. Therefore, it was an extremely comfortable and pleasant stay. The service was phenomenal and I would return if I ever do another trip to Herceg Novi.

Nothing, everything was great.

I had a very very pleasant stay in Swiss Residence. Maja is an incredible host and very genuine person. I got sick in half of my visit actually and she recommend to me a local doctor, checked my health status and if I need cleaning or not. Whenever I wrote something I got clear and fast answers which I find very important for a solo traveler. The room was very clean and comfortable, they also have sun-bed and umbrella in the balcony. Bella vista is 5 mins by walk. Herceg Novi is full of stairs but there is actually a way to hotel without taking any stairs from seaside, just in front of the hotel.

This hotel exceeded my expectations! From the moment I walked up the steps, Maya could not have been more welcoming. She kindly upgraded me to a side sea view room with a balcony which was fantastic and had the comfiest bed I’ve slept in for a long time. Room and bathroom were spotlessly clean. There was a fridge and mini kitchen area with plates etc which was perfect. It was about a 10 minute walk into town. Would also recommend taking the steps or road down to the promenade where there are restaurants and you can walk along the coastline.

Only minor gripe was that I couldn’t get the TV to work (there was only one remote whereas the instructions referred to two)

The room was spacious, spotlessly clean, and the bathroom was equally well-maintained. One of the highlights was the large balcony offering stunning views of the sea. The hotel’s location is perfect, within easy walking distance to both the beach and the old town, making it very convenient for exploring. Additionally, the owner was incredibly helpful and went above and beyond by doing my laundry at no extra charge, which I greatly appreciated since my clothes had gotten soaked from the rain.

The location was good, below the old town and very close to the beaches. I was able to walk from the bus station. Maya was there to meet me and waited even though my bus was delayed at the border. I was given an upgraded room with fabulous sea views. The room was light, spacious, modern and very clean. There was a good desk, a refrigerator and plenty of power points. The shower worked really well. With the windows closed and no one else in the building it was quiet at night.

In the morning there was no internet. Without a local SIM this was quite important. Somewhere to rest your bag/case and some coat hooks would be good. There was no bedside light, you had to get out of bed to turn the lights off and on. The outer door to the building was not locked. Even though the surroundings felt very safe this didn't seem very secure especially as the building is not always staffed. I needed to keep the windows closed to keep out the traffic noise from the road below. (I was given the option of a quieter room at the back.)

Convenient location, close to old town and a short walk from the seafront, with a restaurant next door. The room we had was an upgrade, a good size with fantastic balcony view, (but our booked room wouldn't have been as nice, as o probably get what you pay for Very helpful staff.

Eating utensils, kettle and fridge were available but no cooking facility

The staff was very helpful, our bedroom and bathroom were cleaned daily, we got fresh, clean towels every day. Ladies were offering advice on where to go, which way is better. They recommended a local dentist who was very good and professional as well. I have no enough words to say how nice they were. I will go back for sure.

No such a thing!

Amazing service, cozy family business atmosphere, the staff went out of their way to make us feel comfortable. We stayed for a month working online for the most part of it. Hotel internet was okay to watch Netflix, but we used local Sim-card for work. Check in and check out time is very flexible, if the room is available. We are definitely going to come back.

Our host was a wonderful lady, she gave us a room with a seaside view even though we booked a cheaper option originally. We had a lovely time, the room was quite large and clean.

The whole town is built on the side of a steep hill, lots of stairs everywhere and leading up to the hotel and the rooms - we were on the second floor as well. So just be aware you will be doing a lot of climbing.

Amazing staff, gorgeous view of Boka gulf. A pristine clean and cosy place, 15 mins walking distance from both the Old Town and the beach. We're considering returning to this same place next year, highly recommended.
