This is my second 4 night stay at the Riad Salam and my review on 10th March still applies!! The excellent service provided by Mohammed at Reception is, second to none - nothing is too much trouble!!! The lady in charge of housekeeping (Roukaia) ensured our room was clean and comfortable each day! I requested the same room as in March if possible - this was kindly arranged. One comment I made in the March review was that fridges are not provided except in the suites - I was surprised to find that this comment hadn't gone unnoticed as, on arrival to my room to my astonishment was a fridge!!! A very welcome sight in 4 days of hot weather!!!! On this visit, just 2 additional tips - there are some great fish eateries to be found in the nearby ElHad Souk all located together next to "Bab 7" entrance.If you are trying to find "Snack Souk" shown on many websites - don't waste your time!! We spent 1 hour looking for it as the pictures on the website looked great - we couldn't find it and even the "locals in the souk didn't know of it!!!! 😂 In addition if you fancy trying a camel ride on the beach - definitely recommend Viator who will pick you up at the Riad Salam and take you the 25 minutes trip to Tamraght Beach (near to Restaurant Chez Brahim) where the camel ride commences with some stunning views of the Atlantic as well as time for photographs on this secluded part of the beach! Thanks again to all staff at Riad Salam for another enjoyable and faultless stay in Agadir!

The only thing I didn’t like were the towels. They were extremely used and hard as rock due to washing with heavy detergent. They gave me some face acne.

I'm not going to waste time repeating any of the 1,872 positive review points on Booking.com for the Hotel Riad Salam as all the positive points are repeatedly mentioned by reviewers are true! After staying 4 nights I was completely satisfied with the service provided! Nothing was, too much trouble for the English speaking reception staff - even the house keeping lady spoke English so there was no difficulty in obtaining the "extra towel"!!! 😂 There isn't a swimming pool here (but the Atlantic Ocean is only 6 minutes away by taxi!!! 😂). It's also a 20 minute walk to the nearest bar if you want an alcoholic drink!!! But if you really cannot exist without a swimming pool and bar then why choose to come to Morocco in the first place!!! But a visit to Dadas Wine Store has everything you need at very reasonable prices and enjoy a cooling drink in the privacy of your own hotel room - remember this is a predominantly Muslim country so as guests we should respect this! With over 45 countries under my belt over the years, the Hotel Riad Salam is now on the list of "Top 10" hotels I've stayed at! 👏 I don't need fancy "Swan Towels"  on the bed or beautiful shaded lamps on the bedside table!!! I just need a comfortable hotel that I can have a good night's sleep in whilst I explore Agadir and the surrounding areas! The Hotel Riad Salamticks all these boxes!! 👍 Breakfast is not included at this hotel but 20 metres away is a fantastic cafe serving a variety of "breakfasts" and a special "Fridays only" couscous!!!! 😂. The normal hotel constraints for breakfast between 0730-0900 are gone here - get up and have breakfast for £2-£3  at a time that suits you - this sets you up for the rest of the day!! Behind the hotel on the left hand side are a variety of small supermarkets and "Snack Tata" that does a great selection of "take away meals" and only 5 minutes from the hotel!!!

A small fridge in the room would have been useful.

The hotel is in a residential area not very close to the beach but close to the souk which suited my needs perfectly. We booked a suite which was large and even better than we expected. The hotel is kept extremely clean by the friendly cleaning ladies who made sure we had plenty clean towels and toiletries. On arrival we received a very warm welcome from Driss the gentleman at reception everyday. Driss couldnt have done more for us answering all the questions we had about the area, the hotel, changing money, booked us taxies, booked a hammam for my son. We would like to express a big thank you to Driss for always being cheerful and at our service which made our time at the hotel extra special. I will be back to this hotel any time I’m in Agadir.

There was not a thing I didn’t like about this hotel as it was extremely good value for money.

The Hotel and the staff were amazing. The receptionists and the cleaning stuff did a very great job and I felt very comfortable. It was very clean, and the bed was also very comfortable. You can reach the Souk by foot in only 10 minutes, and you are more or less in the center of everything. With a Taxi you can reach all spots in only a few minutes. The hotel was breakfast options for a very small amount of money, and the price is definitely worth it. I can highly recommend this hotel, and would surely come back.

I have nothing to complain about. Everything was great.

position, it is near to El Had Souk , but you have to use taxi if you want anywhere.. great value for money 33 eu for night. You get safe ,clean, AC room with kind staff at front desk.

Hotel was clean and served its purpose... clean, friendly, very reasonable price, helpful staff...

Only 2 things that could be improved were the beds..... (very very hard beds, not a comfortable nights sleep unfortunately, but i guess you cant really expect expensive beds in budget accommodation) also... simply change the shower curtain... (it was plastic and looked like it had been there for years, very very worn-out, it was also way to short... so water went all over the floor), simple fix in my opinion... just replace it. other than these 2 small issues the hotel was good.

This was my third or fourth time staying at this hotel. The hotel staff members are friendly and they behave in a professional manner. Everything went smoothly, just like during my previous stays. I absolutely love the nearby Souk el Had and I went there almost every day.

Good location, close by the big Souk. Staff really kind, 24/7 service. They could print our boarding card, since you need this on paper from Agadir. Taxi service to the airport. So all good!

The matrasses are really hard in Marokko, so also here. Besides, the water in the shower was not easily going away, so the whole bathroom was full of water after the shower. Besides that, everything was fine!

The riad was absolutely gorgeous and loved having a pool. It is extremely chill and quiet - we only saw the owners briefly when we arrived and hardly saw any other guests. We might have liked it a bit more lively but it depends what you're looking for! Great if your looking for secluded and peaceful 😊

Beds were a little hard and we had twins pushed together rather than a double mattress.
