The reception staff had a great welcome for us and were so friendly and helpful.The manager made himself known to us and was very helpful about the area and where to go.A lovely gentleman took our cases and showed us to our room and showed us how to use the keyboard panel which was our room key.The room was a nice size with two single beds which we asked for.There was loads of open space to hang our clothes and a plenty of drawers for all our folded items.The bathroom was a nice size with a large walk-in shower.There was a balcony that didn’t give us much of a sea view but was a nice space to sit out.There sun unfortunately didn’t hit the balcony til late afternoon which we didn’t mind this time.There bar area was lovely and comfortable and had a great view of the pool.There bar area upstairs was nice but-unfortunately there measures of short drinks were very small and were expensive. 260dm for two double measures of baileys which was disappointing.The pool snack bar served lovely food and not expensive but during our stay there was a fault with the pool and was closed for our last day. There was a spa with a good range of treatments and an indoor pool.Our housekeeper Nolelle was very professional in her work and had lovely white fluffy towels every day for us.Our beds were made up daily and changed whenever we wanted. She was a lovely person and was very helpful.Our stay at The Hamilton was very relaxing and will be returning on our next trip.We would highly recommend this hotel for solo, couples and family holidays.Thank you so much for making our holiday so relaxing

The measures of short drinks were very small and expensive

This hotel doesn’t deserve the bad reviews it gets, we stayed here for a week and on our last day we changed our flights and booked another week here, we were self catering so can’t comment on the hotel food but the hotel over-all was brilliant, good facilities, good rooms, cleaned everyday, fresh towels every (odd time we had to ask), the staff are so so friendly, I’m not sure what the comments are talking about saying they’re unfriendly to English people, we felt safe, welcomed and comfortable at all times, reception were always happy to help us with any questions, always a good morning or good evening every time we walked through reception, brilliant, as well as the excursion staff, nothing but friendly and helpful! Location is amazing, 10 min walk from the beach, 5 min walk from cafes, 20 min walk from the Souk market, excellent! The hotel is what you pay for, really good in my opinion! Recommendations: Cafes- cafe la Fontaine- 5 minute walk from the hotel, amazing service, we had breakfast here every morning, so cheap and the staff are amazing! Paradise valley- we visited here and booked through the hotel, amazing experience, we booked to go back for the full day it was that good, many food and drink places, beautiful swimming spot! Souk el had: the market, we visited twice, we LOVED it, over 5000 stalls, one of the biggest markets in Africa, we had tea with a local that had a market stall, we even went back to his stall the second time and had tea again, lovely to walk around, explore, you can buy anything you could think of, loved it! Cable cars- £8 roughly for a trip upto the old castle, really good for the price I think, worth a vist! Medina- the medina is roughly an hour walk from the hotel, we walked there and got a taxi back but taxis are cheap enough to go both ways, we paid 50 DH back but possible to get one both ways if you don’t want to walk, the medina was beautiful, 30dh to get in, worth the visit! Hamilton!!!

The surrounding hotels can be a little loud up until 11/12 so maybe not suitable if you have children, we always bring earplugs travelling so wasn’t a problem for us but if you’re a light sleeper or have children, maybe not for you. This didn’t bother us but music does go on while a little late

It is a great hotel and cheap, it is clean and has very good air conditioning which is a must in the hot seasons, the staff are very nice and go out of there way to accommodate you. They also have there own hammam and massage service with some great offers. The breakfast was good and cater for all customers, the rooms were cleaned daily. Rooms have a safe which you have to pay for and fridges for drinks you can bring back but you cannot bring any food back. It has a nice swimming pool with plenty of space to relax and not so far from the beach and local shops.

The cleaners have keys to your doors and seem to just walk in after a quick knock. Also I don't understand why we can't bring food back to our rooms as I tend to order food from Glovo.

Breakfast was terrible and expensive when compared with other breakfast places nearby. I recommend the Fontaine resteraunt I think it's called, the breakfast there was so cheap. The pizza from the hotel menu was decent but pricy for it's size. I liked how friendly the staff and the tour operator were. Check in and out were both easy. I liked the pool and the loungers and the bartender at the pool was very friendly and welcoming.

The door locks. Our balcony didn't lock at all which was fine but one night our door lock decided to stop working and we weren't allowed to leave our room to go to dinner with our friends as they hadn't fixed the lock yet. It took a long time for them to fix it so we had to order hotel food. Alcohol is cheap but it does seem to come in tiny glasses as its expensive for them to purchase i assume so understandable but in Spain I would have got double if not triple the baileys for the price, baileys should be in a bigger glass. Everything was chilled nicely though. The cats were cute although sometimes they fight which can give you a fright. Overall good though.

The first night were at the front and was noisy but the staff were so helpful they moved us to back ground floor with sunbeds outside, perfect! The bed was king sized and very comfortable. The shower was big and good Ok, not brand new but good. The cleaners were very good . Mohamed and his staff in the restaurant were extremely friendly and helpful. And the reception staff helped find places to visit and very approachable. Food was good, for a 3 star hotel 😆 😁

I booked the Hamilton because it had an indoor pool, it did but was as cold as ice . The outdoor pool was being renovated so no swimming..But it will be finished in April and looks nice.

We tried to cancel because of people posting online about hotel was bad and staff rude but when we arrived it was the opposite. The Hotel was clean (our room, the foyer, the bathroom. We got clean towels and toiletries every day) and staff were great and helpful at all times. You could even smoke cigars and relax on the sofas in the lounge. Their was plenty of airways for cool breeze. Swimming pool was clean as was our room. I think Europeans can be incredibly racist to Moroccans. Look if you want Hilton Hotel? Pay £300. Don't pay £65 per night expecting the Hilton and its standards and then complain.

Some bath door handles and taps could do with replacing but they all worked. Look you if you want the Hilton pay £300 per night not £65 per room as this was.

After going to a hotel, that was absolutely disgusting We had to go on booking.com and we found this Hamilton hotel from the minute we got there we was well looked after their reception staff are very friendly and caring and very kind. Nothing was too much. As soon as you walk into the place, it smells lovely as soon as you entered your hotel room it smelt very clean and was spotless compared to some places that you can stay. I literally give this a 10 out of 10. It is about a 15 minute walk to the beach from this hotel but its also only about £1.50 to get to the beach in a taxi. We was really looked after from the minute we got there I would recommend this hotel as after the experience we had when we first arrived at a different hotel was horrendous. This hotel made our holiday so thank you. Only one thing the poor area is clean, but it is a little outdated but still beautiful to relax around the pool also the pizza is amazing that you can order from the bar.

Hotel was clean. Staff was friendly and helpful, especially at the reception. They are partnered with Hala Tours that offers activities (camel and quad rides) and excursions from the hotel. They have a representative (Ayoub and Mustafa) sitting opposite the reception. They are reliable and well-organised. We loved sunbathing around the pool. Breakfast was plentiful but the same everyday. Hotel is centrally located, 10 mins walk from Vallée des Oiseaux bus station for local buses and from where the aéroport navette (airport bus) runs for 50 MAD. For buses check Alsa, the local public transport company's website. Internet was ok and even accessible from the room, although it wasn't always great in the room.

Dinner was a la carte. They have limited amount of towels and every morning they are collected from the rooms and returned in the afternoon. So no towel during the day. It wasn't a big deal because we were either sunbathing or on an excursion. In the neighbouring hotel loud music is played in the afternoon and evening but they finish around midnight or 1AM. There were some lovely British subjects who also organised a music festival around the pool. It was quite annoying, especially because the hotel already played some music from a speaker.

Very helpful and nice staff. Room was very comfortable and clean, housekeeping visited every day and we're respectful of our space. The pool and area surrounding was very nice to sit by. The restaurant served us lovely food and staff were attentive and kind. The food is also reasonably priced. The location is great, not far from the beach and other restaurants and bars. We were able to leave our luggage after check out while we explored before our flight home. 10/10 I will book here again if back in Agadir

Nothing not to like

The Property is very well setup, theres Bar, Restaurant, Pool, good Wifi, except in my room it was a little weak depending on the time of the day. Friendly Hotel Manager, the overall experience was great, sure its not a new hotel and may should have some restaurations done but overall good!

When I arrived they had no seaview room as I booked and they gave me a pool view room but this maybe due to policy ( they give you what they have available if your checkin is late) next day I got the sea view room.
