Nice well located hotel. Rooms well equipped with fridge and large flat screen tv. Nice balconies. Cleaned daily. Food very nice but evening meals are Moroccan - so no pork, lots of stews etc. I found the food lovely. if you want fish fingers or chicken nuggets you won't find them here. Be aware there are two nightclubs near the hotel so if you are a light sleeper you may have issues. I hate noise but had no issues. Beach is 5 mins walk away. It is 12km long. Beautiful golden sand. Lovely sea. Hotel has it own cordoned off area with free sunbeds. Also be aware this is not Turkey. There are very few bars in Agadir. Alcohol is served in restaurants and it is expensive. Be prepared to pay 8 Euro for 500ml lager. Prices for alcohol in the hotel are expensive.

If you book via Booking.com it states you will pay the hotel in Euro. This only applies if you pay cash. If you load up a payment card with Euro they cannot take it. All electronic payments must be in local currency. How do they convert to local currency? They make up a rate. I was overcharged about 5%. But you either pay with hard cash in notes or you pay in local currency and accept their conversion rate.You must pay for the room before you get the key. So just be aware.

The friendly staff, the quietness of the rooms and generally atmosphere. The restaurant staff were exceptional in their duties nd so were the security guards at front including the parking attendant.

Breakfast lacks creativity, bathroom area was not as contemporary as shown in images and card and printer were not working causing me to use a cash machine in the foyer which gave me a very poor conversion rate in essence costing more. Hotel coffee shop had 2 prices dependant on staff 🙄. The elderly man was fair but the female was charging more.

All staff working at the hotel was very friendly, from the receptionists, to cleaning staff, waiting staff just to name few. Good food choices for all meals. We loved the morning msemmens with fruit for breakfast and coffee. Comfortable beds. Close to nice walks, transport, beach etc Our second stay here already!

Hotel Aragana has really upgraded from the last time I stayed there. The staff from reception Aziz Mariam Karina to Omar and Bounaam who helped us with our cases to our room. A special thank you to our housekeeper Samira who kept not only our room but the floor 2 exceptionally clean. Nothing she wouldn’t do for you. She always had a lovely design on our beds and fresh clean towels when ever we needed. She washed our pjs and had them out drying when we came back from shopping. We were in a double family room with a view of the pool and were able to watch the night time enterminent from our balcony. The amanation team had everyone up doing all there daily programs. There was water sports table tennis basket ball aerobics in the pool and dance classes which you could participate each night. Children were very well looked after at all times. Breakfast was lovely with inlets and flat bread and pancakes. The pool said bar served wonderful food and drinks at a very reasonable price. Lunch for 5 with drinks never went over €25. They had a man taking photos of all the activities including just sun bathing. There was always plenty of sun loungers at any time of day. Mohammed in the pool bar was always very attentive to all the guests needs. Return taxi to and from the airport were arranged inadvance which was great. All hotel staff do there job in a professional way that could not be faulted. Restoration work was going on at the time of our stay but did not interfere with our stay. The internet was not strong in the bedrooms and should think of putting modems in each room or at least in the corridors

Cleaner on first floor (I think her name is Fatima) - room cleaned everyday and she did an excellent job - she was also a very kind nice person. The pool area is very busy with plenty of activities and music throughout the day and night despite this you were always able to get a sun lounger. Every employee was pleasant - from security on the door to the girl that patiently served us at the pool bar always with a pleasant smile and of course Samek (?) was great fun In the evening. We paid for breakfast only so I can't comment on lunch and dinner but I thought there was plenty of variety - Pancakes, fresh fruit and omelettes were all lovely. 10 min walk to the beach area where there are a few very nice restaurants. Some earlier reviews mentioned building works - this has obviously stopped for the summer period as there was no drilling banging etc while we were there. There was some painting and some work being done on an outdoor building but unobtrusive and not noisy. It was the first time experiencing Agadir, I travelled with my husband and two sons (12 & 18) and also extended family- we booked two family suites - everyone said it was the best holiday in years - praise indeed! We will definitely be back to Agadir and stay in the Hotel Argana.

The hotel is not 4 star by Irish standards but it was very clean and everything worked well (air-conditioning warm showers etc.) - yes some of the towels were grey but changed everyday and spotless - I really don't understand the harsh reviews. As mentioned, breakfast was lovely but can be chaotic after 9am - we found the best time to go was about 8.30am. Lunch menu at the pool bar was basic but tasty we found that alchohol is actually more expensive than food in general. WiFi is not great - very slow in the hotel room but better around lobby and pool - I was delighted to see that the kids were not stuck to their phones. It is very much a tipping culture - we paid on average 10% and this seemed to be sufficient - at the end of the day it's not a huge amount to pay out

The rooms we stayed at were near poolside, and the restaurant was close too. Staff were polite and helpful except for one waiter, whom I have mentioned in what needs improving at the hotel. The rooms were cleaned daily and were tidy. The pool was large and hold daily activities for those wishing to join and the kids thoroughly enjoyed swimming in the pool. The lifeguard was helpful and also lent my daughter some googles. The beach is in walking distance around 5 to 10 minutes, and there is a spot at station 12 for the hotel, which gives you exclusive access to part of the beach without being hasssled by anyone The food was varied and freshly cooked, offering African and European dishes. The spa was great too and they provided the option of the same gender to undertake the service in order to meet religious requirements which was appreciated. The deep tissue massage was relaxing and invigorating. Lastly, I can not thank Ibrahim enough, who organised daily excursions for us from the hotel reception station. He was professional and very reasonable with prices, as I have spoken to a number of tour operators and found him to be the best there was on offer.

They have an odd system off asking you your room number for every meal. I was rudely told I didn't have fullboard on my last day, despite being there for a whole week and was wearing the highlighted green wristband, then was escorted to reception to answer for their mishap, they confirmed I did have fullboard. The waiter did not apologise and decided to leave me without explanation. Other than that, I could not fault the rest of the staff. They were all brilliant.

The room was clean and tidy. The bathroom lock broke, and they fixed that. The hotel is near the beach. The city centre is not far. You can take a bus or taxi to visit the city centre. Breakfast was very good. There were lots of options. They don't serve normal drinking water. However, there were mojitos, tea, coffee, juices, etc. The beach is very close to the hotel.

The hotel wi-fi was very poor and often unusable. However, I took eSim, and I was able to use the Internet anywhere in the city. I am not sure why they don't provide drinking water for free. The loud music from this hotel, and especially the hotel next to it, was terrible. They play music until 1 a.m. It was difficult to sleep sometimes because of that.

Breakfast was very nice and lots of different choices to eat from. The fruit selection was very good. We only booked breakfast at the hotel and ate lunch and dinner outside as the location is very conveniently located near other shops and restaurants without being too tourist in terms of eating out prices.

The initial rooms we had was located right onto of a nightclub and was too noisy so we did not sleep much the first night. The room was also not cleaned properly so we requested new rooms in the morning as we intended to stay a full week and that was unacceptable. Once rectified with new rooms it was very good. They seem to have a problem with some of the bathroom fitting where water leaks in some of the rooms ever so slightly but enough to be annoying and require a towel on the floor.

The location is just perfect and quite close to everything including the beach, the receptionists are very friendly especially a lady called Maryam who was beyond kind and helpful, the entertainment exceeds all expectations by the great efforts of the animation team, the pool is always spotless clean and one can sunbathe making sure their children are safe as lifeguard (Marwan) is beyond amazing keeping an eye on everyone making sure all are safe and having fun, not to mention how clean and tidied the pool area is, the food is exceptional especially the breakfast, the cleanliness of my room was astonishing and finally the safety of the hotel with the very friendly security guards.

The internet doesn’t work in the rooms.

Room was lovely and bed so comfy. The breakfasts where really nice, dinner a wide option but could do with more seasoning. A big shout out to Fatima who ensured my room was cleaned well and was very polite and friendly, in fact all the staff at the hotel were very nice, so thank you to you all. A great location just 5/10 minutes from the beach where I spent the majority of my time. I will def be returning with my family.

The only downside was the Friday night, due to the club next door. My room was right next to it and Friday I did not get much sleep at all, but even though the club was open every night, Friday was the loudest all the other nights it did not bother me at all. Oh and it would be nice to have a kettle in the rooms as Im sure like most I love a coffee when I first wake before breakfast.
